22/08/2025: Affordable two-star hotel. It's clean, though, the breakfast room is nice and has plenty of options, and the staff is very friendly. The room is small and modest, but not uncomfortable. One issue I had was the very noisy air conditioning. Good location, just steps from the beach and not far from the historic district. Affordable for Alassio.

The fish was good and well plated but the portion was decidedly small, the sea bass served with potatoes had a total of 5 very thin potato slices, and there were two very lean fillets... for 17 euros it was truly a robbery... a little more substance would not have been bad. I would add that in the bill I was charged 3 euros for a 0.75 lt bottle of water, considering that it arrived at the table without a cap, and it was obviously tap water at most microfiltered I would say that skimming off these little things is in bad taste. Finally I was alone in the restaurant and at the time I was a guest I was the only guest. I waited 45 minutes for my dish... actually quite a long time, I don't dare to think on a packed evening... let's say I expected better!

Before leaving, you can stop by the small bar next door to buy some "michetti" (a sweet treat to accompany a cappuccino, for example) and Swiss chard pizzas – a treat to enjoy when you get home.

04/10/2025: We happened to be passing by and were a bit late for lunch—it was almost 2 p.m.—but the very friendly staff immediately made a newly opened table for us. The food was so good; I'd love to come back again to try the other dishes. This time we had a very good spaghetti aglio, olio, peperoncino with totani (squid), very flavorful and perfectly prepared, and tempura of shrimp and zucchini flowers, very refined and subtly coated with a lovely crispy layer. The glass of excellent Vermentino di Sardegna was a perfect accompaniment. The tiramisu classico and hazelnut semifreddo were a lovely ending. A top-notch restaurant! I don't understand the negative reviews from people who almost never write reviews.

01/11/2025: One of the worst service experiences we had in Italy. We went in to ask for a table and from the start they seemed unenthusiastic. We ordered seafood, which wasn't bad, but nothing special either. They came to clear the plates while one of us was still eating! The place has a nice atmosphere and the food isn't bad, but the service ruins everything.

Despite being the only customers, we waited two hours for an appetizer and a first course. The dishes were both pretentious and bland. When we pointed out the excessive wait time at the bill, the owner/cook became resentful, replying that everything was freshly prepared and that pasta should cook for at least 10 minutes. Madam, we waited two hours, and even if you ground your own wheat, it wouldn't have taken that long. Disappointing.
