18/11/2025: It's late November, and the days are still surprisingly sunny, inviting us to take long walks. We stopped by chance in front of the restaurant and, seeing that there were free seats in the sun, decided to give it a try. After a while, however, we sat inside because it was starting to get cold outside. I was pleasantly surprised by the food: for our first course, we chose spaghetti allo scoglio, truly perfect! This was followed by a delicious mixed fried fish dish, light and perfectly crispy. The service was excellent; the young man who served us was professional, cheerful, and gave us excellent advice. There was also a woman in the dining room with him, perhaps the owner. A little tip: those sitting inside, near the counter, can easily hear any complaints from the staff, so it's best to avoid them or keep your voice down a bit. All in all, I'm giving it 5 stars because we really enjoyed our meal: excellent food, attentive service, and excellent value.

20/06/2025: Oggi abbiamo visitato Chioggia e ci siamo trovati all’Osteria Penzo. Non avevamo prenotato ma i gestori sono riusciti a trovarci un posticino. Abbiamo mangiato i cicchetti come antipasto, gnocchetti buonissimi con vongole, radicchio e cipolla ed un’ottimo fritto.Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, gestori molto cortesi.

19/06/2025: Ich hatte eine schöne Zeit in Chioggia und der Abend in dieser feinen Osteria bei Mario war das i- Tüpfelchen. Das Essen hervorragend! Der Service freundlich! Und obwohl man reservieren muss, bekommt man das Gefühl der einzige und beste Gast zu sein! Hier bekommt man gute Laune und verlässt das Lokal mit einem Lächeln. Vielen Dank, Mario!

We particularly enjoyed the location directly by the sea and in the shopping area, which made for a relaxing holiday. The room was always clean, and the food in the hotel restaurant was very delicious. We would especially like to praise the excellent service, from the manager himself to the entire team. We always felt well looked after and were provided with many useful tips for excursions in the surrounding area. The parking in front of the door at a fair price of €8 per day was also very convenient. Overall, we were completely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hotel Playa. 23/07/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel e mangiato al ristorante. Cibo di ottima qualità. Fritto misto, leggero e croccante, caciocavallo, orecchiette, pepata di cozze, tutto buonissimo. Personale gentilissimo, ragazzi giovani con tanta voglia di fare. Maurizio, molto preparato sempre pronto a dare spiegazioni ed accontentare le richieste anche non presenti in menù, Michelangelo, ragazzo educato e attento nel prestare un ottimo servizio. 13/10/2025: Nice restaurant located in the main square where the boats arrive. Service needs improvement — annoying when they remove dishes while others are still eating. Staff not very attentive. Pizza was good, but prices quite high (especially for salads).

12/08/2025: What a great cafe/restaurant. We were kindly gretedr by Alan he was kind polite and spoke full English. All of the food we ordered was fresh and delicious just like grandma used to make. I would recommend to all visiting Palermo that you must stop here and have a meal. We are a larger family Mom, Dad and THREE DAUGHTERS AND we all enjoyed. :) A+++

19/08/2025: I can't comment on the quality of the food because, despite having made a reservation, upon our arrival we were told that the table was still unavailable. The atmosphere was too hot and chaotic. Having already had experience, as soon as I saw that none of the tables had food, I realized that the kitchen was out of sorts and we left.

23/08/2025: Customer service is definitely Blanka's top priority. We asked what type of gin they had and were introduced to us at the table in a professional yet informal manner. I'd add that the gin selection is EXCELLENT. Antony took great care of us. They promptly closed the awnings for us as soon as the wind picked up. We ordered a tasting appetizer, a fried fish dish, and a gnocchi with scampi cream. I can honestly say it's been a while since I've eaten such good fish. We felt truly pampered. 100% recommended

04/10/2025: Delicious Italian food at the Lido. From pasta to pizza and Bellini, everything is available at reasonable prices and tastes great! Highly recommended!
