18/06/2025: Good appetizers but the first courses: seafood risotto too salty it was even bitter the spaghetti with clams was more like a spaghetti with garlic and clams loose without parsley, for me there are too many appetizers before the first courses in fact we gave up on the second courses, the taste too many flavors covered the flavor of the fish for me it is a place to forget for a fixed menu of 35 euros I would make fewer dishes but more carefully prepared.

On June 14, 2025, my husband (in a wheelchair) and I wanted to visit Pizzeria Emma in Rome. After a stressful 40-minute journey, we were looking forward to dinner – but what awaited us there was simply disgraceful. Even at the reception desk, the lady and gentleman treated us extremely rudely and condescendingly. Although there were many free tables, we were refused a seat for no apparent reason. The only thing that stood out: my husband is wheelchair-bound. We felt openly discriminated against at that moment – ​​not just ignored, but downright excluded. We live in the 21st century, and even in a liberal country like this, we have had to realize that people are still divided into classes and excluded. Hunger and frustration forced us to order two takeaway pizzas – but these were also a disappointment: poorly topped, bland in taste, and far below what you'd expect in Rome. I absolutely don't understand why this restaurant has so many good reviews. What was particularly shocking was that while we were waiting, two elderly ladies arrived without reservations. They were also initially put off – but as soon as we left, they were seated. It seemed as if they just didn't want us at the table – presumably because of our wheelchairs. Such behavior is not only unacceptable, but also deeply disrespectful to people with disabilities. No one should have to feel treated like this on vacation or anywhere else. Our conclusion: Save yourself a visit to this restaurant if respect, inclusion, and good food are important to you. There are many other pizzerias in Rome that offer genuine hospitality – this one is definitely not one of them. Here's to a tolerant coexistence! Life is too short for exclusion, hatred, and discrimination.

18/06/2025: Servizio molto veloce e cordiale. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di salumi misti, seguito da due primi: i classici capellacci al ragù e un fuori menù di tagliatelle. Tutto buono e ben presentato. L’impressione generale è quella di un ristorante ben rodato, in cui si viene per mangiare bene e rapidamente, e poi si lascia spazio ad altri clienti. Non lo considero un difetto — anzi, da chi lavora nel settore, capisco perfettamente la necessità di gestire i flussi in questo modo. Anche se si trova nel centro storico, non è una trappola per turisti: l’atmosfera è autentica, i piatti sono della tradizione e i prezzi contenuti. Una buona tappa per un pasto gustoso ed efficiente nel cuore di Ferrara.

26/06/2025: We went for dinner and were served immediately. We wanted to go inside because it was still very hot outside, and that was no problem. The atmosphere wasn't bad, but the tables, as usual in these tourist spots, were packed tightly together with no room for air conditioning, just a fan. The food was delicious. We ordered Caesar salad and a pizza to share, although due to the size of the table, we had to have a separate plate for each person. The price was quite good for what we ate; we left very satisfied, but they charge for the service. We would go back for the food and the overall pleasant atmosphere.

21/06/2025: Front row seats to a summer thunderstorm, gorgeous. Food was all great, sea bass, seafood risotto and ravioli. I’m a beer guy, not many choices but huge wine menu. Very friendly, some of the staff was a little unpolished so didn’t feel like the fanciest of places but wasn’t a problem for me at all.
