12/06/2025: Racial discrimination! Serious racial discrimination, very unfriendly to non-Europeans, highly not recommended

11/06/2025: I can't help but leave my review, because I have rarely encountered such rude staff, especially in such a famous and historic place as the Museo Caffè Canova. The attitude of the staff was totally disinterested towards customers, with truly unacceptable ways of communicating. A very disappointing experience, despite the beauty of the place. Next time, if a similar situation were to happen again, I would not mind wasting time and calling the Guardia di Finanza. The cashier, instead of apologizing for not being able to leave the cash register and change money (which the waiter could have done), arrogantly replied that in Italy there is no obligation to accept cash if you do not have change. This is absolutely false, as confirmed to me directly by the Guardia di Finanza. I understand that the place is always full of tourists, but for this very reason respect for customers should be a priority. It is truly ridiculous how we were treated. Furthermore, the manager (or whoever) did not even allow us to enter the hall – where only the cash register is located – to look at the works of art on display. According to them, we could have disturbed the customers who were eating in the nearby rooms. An absurd justification, considering that it is a cultural space. It is unacceptable that in a place like this, access to art is denied for such specious reasons.

23/06/2025: Very good pizza, very friendly staff. Great for celiacs, they have many gluten-free options between the restaurant and the pizzeria

21/06/2025: Very nice rooms each with its own Neapolitan style. Excellent square as the gluten free one.

15/06/2025: Food was okay but the service was terrible. Other guests got treated way better and got the food way faster even tho they ordered much later. Won't come here again

12/06/2025: We requested a table of three for dinner. We were told the entire restaurant was reserved, this was at approximately 18:00 (the entire restaurant was empty upon our arrival). They told us we would need to sit outside to be served. Currently, the weather is 90+ degrees with very little to no breeze. Our table was straddling a sewer grate, which made it very difficult to sit comfortably. Initially, the waitress was quick to provide menus, take our order and provide us with drinks. Afterwards, she did not return to our table. We were forced to go back into the restaurant, which was still empty, in order to pay our bill. The staff took some time to notice us inside before providing us the bill. Overall, the food and service were below average. This was a very disappointing experience.

08/06/2025: Great quality and taste of the spaghetti we got. My only objection, the portions could be slightly bigger for the price. Otherwise, it's a really good option off the beaten path of the touristic establishment.

26/06/2025: This place is a total dump. The owner should wake up and realize that with such arrogant and useless waiters he is sinking his own place. That waiter in particular was extremely rude: we stood there for more than ten minutes and no one even looked at us, let alone greeted us. When he finally moved, he treated us with an air of superiority and annoyance as if he was doing us a favor by giving us a table. Who do they think they are? With this unprofessional attitude, you will lose all your customers. No one with a minimum of self-respect will set foot in there again. Avoid this place like the plague.

20/06/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant. We ordered cod and pizza at 8:30 pm. The first course arrived within 20 minutes, while at 10:45 pm since the pizza hadn't arrived yet we decided to leave, also considering the indifference of the waiters who, hearing the various complaints about the delays of the pizzas from the various tables, were increasingly arrogant and annoyed. Prices are decidedly high, also considering the quality of the service offered. Absolutely not recommended.

17/06/2025: We had dinner with friends on Sunday evening, the location is very pleasant, the service is attentive and precise, the dishes are presented very well and taste excellent. A restaurant where you can go as a couple or with friends and experience a very pleasant evening in every respect.

16/06/2025: Very positive experience. Aside from a bit of coldness upon arrival, a bit justified by the fact that everyone works very seriously. Fantastic location as is the food. Prices are adequate for the very high quality of the raw material... I must point out that I took the palette as dessert and I was a bit disappointed because they were not sweets that I liked. So I recommend specifying the desserts present in the palette on the menu. Fast and very professional service. The rest is top!!! I will definitely be back!!!
