27/03/2024: For me this is the first time I have visited this restaurant... the location is beautiful, with a magnificent view of the Sassi of Matera. A refined and thoughtful internal environment. Fast, precise and attentive service. Beautiful and tasty dishes. All good and yet I gave 4 stars, I'm very sorry about this, but perhaps it's the fault of the booking made with The fork with a 50% discount on dishes, you can't pay for a 1lt bottle of Coca-cola (on the receipt there are two 0.5 ) the sum of €12... I repeat, I'm sorry because the place is truly worth it, but honestly this detail struck me very negatively. I hope to change my mind next time....

16/03/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale trovato su The Fork,abbiamo usufruito dello sconto del 50%.Prima di tutto ci tengo a fare un plauso alle cameriere che sono davvero gentili e solari,abbiamo mangiato davvero bene(pubblico le foto dei piatti in basso),unica pecca a mio avviso il prezzo delle bevande,mi spiego abbiamo pagato una bottiglia da litro di Coca Cola 12 euro esattamente quanto una bottiglia di vino da 75ml,per il resto il locale è piccolo ma carino,e soprattutto centralissimo.Lo consiglio.

05/04/2024: This place was recommended to us by the manager of the camper area where we stopped: a beautiful, well-kept and above all clean environment. We were able to enjoy some excellent local food presented with a nice twist. The staff were very welcoming, competent, professional. Very satisfied with the experience. To be recommended.

27/03/2024: Positioned on one of the most panoramic views of Matera, Il Terrazzino is an excellent characteristic restaurant. We had lunch based on typical dishes, an appetizer based on vegetables, local cured meats and cheeses. Advised.

04/04/2024: I stopped at this restaurant by chance and had a great time. The very kind staff accommodated my two children who don't eat fish while my wife and I both had fish menus and it was all delicious. Beautiful external view.

02/04/2024: Easter Monday with some friends, arrived at 2pm, fairly quick service taking into account the holiday and the people who were there. Some abundant and very good dishes. At the end a bit of confusion with some courses but immediately ready and very kind. Very good frying. Ate fresh pasta with mussels and prawns. Nice view. Restaurant on the street. Nice venue.

02/04/2024: We were there on March 31st, Easter day. We were on an organized trip and had free lunch, so, not knowing the area, we chose at random, inspired by the entrance to the restaurant and what we glimpsed inside. We were pleasantly struck by the particularity of the restaurant itself, by the attention to the table and the rooms, by the kindness of the restaurant manager who showed us the dishes we chose, including a selection of truly exquisite local cheeses and cold cuts. The first course was exceptional, but the artisanal ice cream they served at the end of the meal was something truly indescribable. Price appropriate for the quality of the food.

01/04/2024: Just sufficient. We had dinner in this typical place among the rocks of Matera. Satisfying mixed starters. First courses to forget. My son had the truffle tagliolini. Drowned in truffle butter...inedible due to the amount of salt. The amazed waiter asked us for explanations as to why we hadn't eaten the tagliolini. Having explained what happened, the funny guy even took us for a ride, telling us that he would inform the chef. When it came time to pay we found ourselves charged the entire bill. What to say ??? You nailed us...so congratulations!!!! In the meantime, however, I try to save other tourists.

06/04/2024: Dining at 1999 the restaurant in Maratea was truly a pleasant experience for me. The fantastic location overlooking the Port, the refined and very tasty dishes, with new combinations that make them unique. An appreciation also for the dining room staff ready to guide you in your choice, attentive to every customer request and to make you feel at home. I highly recommend it!

24/03/2024: A very cool vibe. We went for both aperitivo/ light meal as well as in the evening when the place becomes more of a bar. Interesting menu options and drinks - the b-tschips are the best!

01/04/2024: Had dinner...mediocre food not up to expectations, lamb not in a piñata as advertised (dish ordered in another restaurant and served in a terracotta piñata, baked in the oven served sealed with a crunchy pizza dough) this served in a casserole dish earthenware, boiled dish with vegetables, three skinny pieces of lamb submerged in a tasteless watery broth together with pieces of carrots, potatoes, a disappointing tasteless dish. Roasted caciocavallo... more of an appetizer than a second course, a scant slice of barely warm caciocavallo. Tasteless unseasoned side dish... when you ask for a little oil you seem to be asking for gold, a disappointing sweet trio of chocolates. I wouldn't go back nor would I recommend it. The bill, although the owner was sorry for the poor service, was considered a perfect dinner

31/03/2024: The environment certainly cannot be defined as welcoming, in fact the lochescion is old and anonymous. Out of hunger I ate a mixed grill of meat: a cut of lamb with only bones and an insignificant steak, the rest was just passable. Poor service and HIGH BILL for what it offers.
