14/07/2025: I've been to this gelateria once and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly, the gelato scoops weren't overly large but offered a wide variety of flavors, and above all, they were good, though not all were perfect. The prices are reasonable, though whipped cream could be included.
The place is cute, and the view of the square is pleasant. Overall, a good experience, though not perfect. I recommend trying it if you're in the area.

11/04/2026: Terrible, it has nothing to do with what it used to be, there's no trace of the old flavors, a sparse menu with little choice and nothing distinctive. We had spaghetti with tomato sauce and mushroom risotto, which were truly sad...
If it's really late and you're really hungry, otherwise, look elsewhere.

A little pricey, but these are the prices these days, so if I really have to choose, I go where I know it's good.

They were kind enough to accommodate us with some non-fish dishes, off the menu.
Too bad about the lady serving us... when she took our orders, she was clearly annoyed by our group (perhaps because we didn't order the tasting menu?).
When we finally asked IF IT WAS POSSIBLE to pay separately, she responded, "Don't do that to me," with her arms outstretched, annoyed, and headed toward the dining room.
Well, thank you, we felt truly welcomed, ma'am!
P.S. On the other hand, the other gentleman who brought our dishes was very kind and smiling.
...Sometimes a smile is more important than the dish itself.
30/01/2026: I was lucky enough to eat at Capriccio degli dei for New Year's Eve dinner, and it was truly a blessing! The dinner was all seafood, and it was delicious. The fish was incredibly fresh and cooked simply and perfectly, with perfect results! You could taste the freshness of the fish in all its deliciousness. I've rarely eaten so well. I highly recommend it.

If trains were metaphors, this metaphor would actually be a simile. That is, one thinks that life is a mirror of all the choices one makes.
But what if mirrors are the choices of a lifetime?
I don't know. In any case, the quality of the beer is evident from what I write.
The scent of happiness, here at the Medoc. It awaits you behind Miriam's smile (she doesn't own this place, but this place does) and the special cuisine. I'll be back, even if trains aren't my cup of tea, because I like this train, this one.
24/06/2026: Great experience, good beer, very central location, top-notch sandwich on Fire, but special mention for the local Ascolana olives, delicious.

01/02/2026: We chose Contrada to celebrate our son's 6th birthday. The place is welcoming, the staff wonderful, and the food was plentiful and high-quality.
Even though it was FRIENDS' SUNDAY and there were a lot of people, everything was handled exemplarily.
With the tasting menu or à la carte, they manage to satisfy every need. The service is young and impeccable, attentive to everything. In a time when I paid €100 for a pizza for two and a cutlet for a child, it seems like a dream to have an excellent, mouth-watering lunch for a much lower price.
We will definitely return to Paolo and his family, because restaurants like this are rare these days.

07/06/2026: A wonderful experience! We spent a wonderful evening at this restaurant, in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The seafood dishes were excellent, carefully prepared with fresh ingredients.
The service was attentive, professional, and always friendly, making us feel welcomed from start to finish.
The price was absolutely fair and reasonable.
A place we'll gladly return to enjoy good seafood, the sound of the sea, and a few hours of true relaxation. Highly recommended!

07/06/2026: They're also open on Sundays, so on my way home, I was able to bring some fabulous Ascoli olives and excellent tortellini to my friends. Everything was packed in a cooler with ice. Great!

05/02/2026: Pizzeria adjacent to the square, so very convenient for parking. Very fast service, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. We had the Ascoli olives, saltimbocca, and several other pizzas. Fresh ingredients, thin-crust pizza, and very good quality. Fair prices and excellent food. I'd like to compliment the two waiters, who were truly superb. I highly recommend them.

13/05/2026: Mike Stern and his bandmates, including the impressive Denny Chambers, created a unique and incredible atmosphere with their skill and energy. The venue is a pleasant experience, surprising for its modern yet old-school feel, where live performances remain the heart of every evening. Excellent acoustics, friendly service, and courteous service. We'll definitely be back next October.

08/04/2026: I passed by and, struck by the aesthetics of the sign, decided to try some of their lunchtime dishes. Helpful and friendly, from the smiling waiters to the gentle nature of the owner, we were treated to excellent dishes (carciofo alla giudia, olive all'ascolana, and a ceaser salad) accompanied by a super-balanced whiskey sour. The price was also excellent. Super cute location with plenty of outdoor tables. If I ever pass through Ascoli again, it would be a pleasure to be your customer again!
