16/10/2025: Excellent lunch, fresh fish cooked simply, delicate flavors. Helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: Not recommend if you are not local. They try to look like Michelin star restaurant, but: Ask for reservation, find "1 free table", but at the end of evening still at least 3 tables free. Roof in the room? But not match other half of serving room. Plastic shelf under air condition. Atmospehere just cold. Service not so great they try to look like. Truly, food was good but all above spoil the impression.

25/04/2026: The two of us went for a quiet lunch, everything was delicious, the service was 10 stars, not 5. We spent the right amount. I'd say overall it was top 😁

15/04/2026: We went to the "temple of pizza," as they call it. The atmosphere was different from what I remembered; everything had been renovated. We went from an old-fashioned pub to a soulless modern space. Somehow, it felt like we were walking into a sandwich shop. As soon as we sat down, we were told that to order, all we had to do was press a button on the table to summon the waiter: we should have already realized what a place it had become. We ordered. Looking around while waiting, I realized that the place, with its plexiglass windows and sliding doors, reminded me of something. The ROBOT, who brought me the appetizers from the kitchen, made me understand what it was like. Yes, it felt like an all-you-can-eat place. The Ascolana olives weren't great; they still tasted of brine. The fried zucchini were perfectly ordinary. Then came the arrosticini, again brought by the legendary robot, and the pizza with puntarelle, brought by a waiter. The arrosticini weren't bad, but there are better ones in the area. The puntarelle were unseasoned, the anchovies were supermarket-quality, and the mozzarella was missing. As a Roman, I expected more from the puntarelle. The rest of the menu is almost touristy, with burgers called "Aztec" or "hot dog" sandwiches. It's a shame because what was once a historic local spot has become a tourist attraction. That said, the place is clean and the food is okay. It's definitely the first Italian restaurant/pizzeria where I felt like I was in a parallel universe, like an all-you-can-eat experience.

The artisanal passion is clearly evident; it's not your typical "constructed" place, but a place with soul. My husband ordered the Salaria, a Gose of their own production, and it was an interesting and far from predictable experience. At first, it seemed rather acidic and almost unsettling, but after a few sips, his perception changed completely: the flavor became more balanced, fresh, and very pleasant. A beer that evolves as you drink it, and for that very reason, it surprises. He then chose a Session IPA, more immediate and fragrant, with citrus notes and a light mouthfeel. He found it very pleasant and easy to drink, while maintaining its character. The staff is courteous, smiling and welcoming, and the venue perfectly reflects this way of being: authentic, refined and pleasant. 30/04/2026: The pizza was very good. The Carbonara was better. The Spaghetti Fruti Di Mare was delicious. I recommend it. The prices are very good.

18/04/2026: Welcoming staff, fast service, excellent food. If you happen to be passing through San Benedetto del Tronto, you must try the arrosticini, the baked potatoes, the pasta with ragù. The quality of the food is truly excellent and the value for money is excellent.

The selection at the counter was also good, with several options to start the day off right. The service was friendly and fast. Overall, a good place for breakfast in San Benedetto del Tronto.

01/02/2026: We chose Contrada to celebrate our son's 6th birthday. The place is welcoming, the staff wonderful, and the food was plentiful and high-quality. Even though it was FRIENDS' SUNDAY and there were a lot of people, everything was handled exemplarily. With the tasting menu or à la carte, they manage to satisfy every need. The service is young and impeccable, attentive to everything. In a time when I paid €100 for a pizza for two and a cutlet for a child, it seems like a dream to have an excellent, mouth-watering lunch for a much lower price. We will definitely return to Paolo and his family, because restaurants like this are rare these days.

03/05/2026: I went to this restaurant yesterday with my boyfriend. What can I say, everything was perfect. Even though we hadn't booked and it was packed, they still managed to find us a table. A very, very nice and attentive lady served us throughout the meal. We ate divinely. Truly, nothing to complain about. A fantastic experience, definitely worth repeating.
