03/02/2026: Uncle Gigi is the best if you want a good, crunchy pizza. And even if you're in the mood for a gourmet pizza. I recommend Global. The owner is kind and friendly. If I had one small complaint, the wait times could be improved. But the wait is worth the expense.

24/05/2026: A small shop in the historic center of Ascoli Piceno, entirely run by women with a background and a strong passion for the art of baking. As mentioned, the bakery is very small, but at first glance, where they make their bread, it truly seems like a laboratory from another era. I was very sorry not to try their bread, in fact, the countless varieties, from chocolate to rye, whole wheat, etc., etc. After reading a bit and gathering some information, they use flours from ancient grains, the raw materials are not left to chance. Today I wanted to try two leavened sweets and two savory ones. For the leavened ones, you have to wait a bit: for the croissants and for the Venetian ones, you have to wait at least 9:30. As for the savory ones, I had a pizza with potatoes, asparagus, and pecorino cheese and a puff pastry with cod and zucchini. It's a shame the pizza was a little cold, but otherwise the dough was high-quality, well-leavened and hydrated. The quality is evident, there's nothing to complain about; they know how to do their job. The flours are high-quality—I think they use a blend of flours, including whole wheat or semi-whole wheat—which gives the dough a crispy texture, especially around the edges. The oil was very pleasant, even though it was a good amount, and it created a pleasant effect on the palate. The second savory dish was good, with a bold filling and a nice zucchini-cod combination. The pastry was cooked properly, buttery but not overly so. To be honest, I wasn't crazy about the desserts, aesthetically speaking. They didn't bake very evenly, and the croissant was small. I must say the dough was still a little moist inside because they had just been baked. I waited about 10 minutes because they needed to cool properly before being filled. The dough was halfway between French and Italian. I could taste the butter, but I think they also used eggs because the dough was a bit yellow. The cream was good; perhaps they added a little cream, although I preferred the Venetian one, albeit in a smaller amount. The Venetian one, too, isn't very Instagrammable, but it's definitely a good, soft dough, very similar to that of maritozzi. In conclusion, I spent €11, a good price. I thank the woman for giving me a small red pizza. A good bakery in my opinion, where the choice of grains and raw materials is a must. In fact, next time I'll try their bread.
09/05/2026: Beautiful, sturdy oven. And the baked goods are spectacular: I haven't had a pizza like this (crispy dough, flavor, ingredients) in a long time. Highly recommended.

Reasonably good value, more suited to foreign tourists.
05/06/2026: Traditional seafood (and more) menu, beautifully presented and served.
Good wine selection. The only flaw was the overly rich breading on the shrimp skewers.
The gratin mussels, on the other hand, deserve special mention: truly rich and tasty.
The final price was fair.

Not to mention the location, right in the center of the loggia in the Piazza di Amandola!

03/05/2026: We grab a quick bite wherever there's a table and go! Excellent pizzas, pasta dishes, and vegetables always available. Every time I pass through Senigallia, I always stop by.
15/04/2026: This is Senigallia's historic pizzeria, and probably the most famous. I remember my grandfather taking me there over 20 years ago, when I was still a kid.
They only make pizza by the slice here, and in my opinion, it's among the best in the city. It's slightly greasy, but I'd call it a "good" greasy spot: just enough to make the pizza much more flavorful without making it greasy.
The only small "problem" (a "very" in quotation marks) is that it's often crowded, given the popularity of this pizzeria. You often have to wait in line for 10 minutes.
The variety of pizzas is good, both red and white, although the selection can be limited during busy periods.
In short, it's the ideal place for a snack or a delicious afternoon snack, and I recommend it. The deliciousness of the pizza makes the wait worthwhile.

12/03/2026: We've frequented this restaurant on several occasions.
A colleague and I were busy with construction work nearby and stopped in for lunch several times.
We're both from Puglia, and to our surprise, on one of these occasions, we discovered that the family who runs the restaurant is originally from Trani.
We've always had a great time every time we've stopped for lunch.
We're business travelers... but here, even if only for an hour, we felt at home again, eating those simple, authentic dishes just like our grandmothers and mothers used to make.
Thank you for bringing us home, even if only for an hour!

Guests can choose from a good selection of wines, with some available by the glass and selected daily, as well as a modest selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, both meat and seafood, crafted with an eye for innovation and expert use of raw materials. The service is friendly and helpful; the bill is moderately high considering the quality-price ratio.

26/04/2026: A wonderful surprise. There are lucky coincidences that make an already wonderful day unforgettable... well, stumbling upon this bar-restaurant and finding a warm welcome and simply exquisite cuisine was one of those coincidences. Even though they were already fully booked, they still found us a table with a short wait, just long enough for an aperitif. The place looks like a normal village bar, but behind the counter is a warm and lively room that hints at the authentic quality of the cuisine. The platter of top-quality cured meats and cheeses, and the first courses (dry passatelli with porcini mushrooms and strozzapreti with wild boar ragù) were worthy of a Nobel Prize! Simply fantastic.
13/03/2026: Authentic food, local specialties, homemade pasta paired with a variety of sauces. An excellent lunch stop.
