Personally, I wasn't sold on the price, considering the portions (e.g., the chef's appetizers were good and beautiful, but for the price, I would have expected more than just a small taste) and some of the ingredients (the sushi was also good and beautiful, but was that really surimi used in the roll mixes?). Let's just say that for a good dinner, it's fair to expect a substantial expense. Worth it for special occasions.

That's exactly what happened at Trattoria Antonietta in Jesi. You can still feel the atmosphere of a typical Marche trattoria, but it's been updated with modernity. The restaurant isn't huge, but it's very quaint and historic. The warm welcome, friendly service, and attentiveness to the recommendations and explanations of the dishes are a wonderful calling card. The cuisine is simple and honest, typical of the Marche tradition, prepared with top-quality local products. Like the fresh pasta, which is strictly homemade. It's a pleasure to find a new dish every time, as the menu changes based on seasonal ingredients. The tagliatelle with peas and prosciutto and the passatelli with guanciale are excellent. The roast beef with aromatic herbs and the sliced chicken are delicious. The apple strudel with excellent vanilla ice cream is amazing. The coffee, Varnelli, toasted hazelnut, and chocolate semifreddo are equally delicious. That's happiness! The crespelle with ricotta, radicchio, walnuts, and Urbino caciotta are also excellent. The marzipan in broth is a dive into the Marche tradition. The guinea fowl in potacchio with chestnuts is also delicious. The tagliatelle with vegetables and toasted pine nuts and the maltagliati with artichokes and ciauscolo are excellent, as are the honey-caramelized roast suckling pig with aromatic herbs, the salted caramel and peanut semifreddo, and the white chocolate lime and pistachio-crusted semifreddo.

14/08/2025: Elegant restaurant. Friendly staff, except for the lady (owner's wife?) who is hasty and doesn't make you feel at ease. The truffle carbonara is really good. Definitely worth trying! The caprese, on the other hand, was a disappointment; the tomatoes and mozzarella were of terrible quality. I love tiramisu. I had the tiramisu. If you add brandy to it, please write it down or tell me, because that's no longer tiramisu, and I didn't like it.

22/06/2025: I spent a great evening with colleagues. We ordered pizzas and I must say that in addition to being very well presented, they were delicious. Mine in particular was very tasty. I ordered the "tarantella", with hints of Apulian flavors. The service was quick and kind. The informal environment is ideal for dinners with friends and colleagues (I recommend outside on these summer evenings). Parking was not a problem since there is plenty of space outside the restaurant. We will definitely be back! PS. I recommend booking in advance since the restaurant is almost always full.

18/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per un pranzo in famiglia. I piatti da scegliere erano pochissimi in quanto quasi tutti su prenotazione. Abbiamo preso tagliatelle al ragù discrete, mentre gli spaghetti al varnelli erano scotti e pieni di pepe. Le grigliate discrete, mentre la cotoletta era di carne pressata di pollo, impresentabile in un ristorante anche di questo livello.
