10/12/2025: Dinner with work colleagues, good pizza, good beer, kindness and excellent welcome, a lovely evening

10/08/2025: I was passing through and made a reservation here, based on a list of pizzerias I found online. I have to say I had a great time. I ate outside, where there's plenty of space, in a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The staff was friendly, attentive, and cheerful. The pizza was good, and the beer was excellent. I'll be back when I'm in the area.

14/10/2025: Bad experience, Rude and rude owners, They barely say hello, and then always look sullen. I've come in several times for coffee, and every time it feels like you're trying to spite them. Mostly the prices are off, and they often don't even issue the receipt. I'm sorry, "but you're not cut out for working behind a bar counter." If you ever change jobs!! I don't recommend it.

08/01/2026: La Canonica – Castel di Mezzo (Pesaro) In the secluded village of Castel di Mezzo, La Canonica is a restaurant with a refined and pleasantly rustic atmosphere, complete with a fireplace, exposed beams, and an outdoor seating area ideal for the summer. The welcome was immediately warm, with a family atmosphere that puts you at ease. The menu, recently changed since the holidays and still in its infancy, is quite limited but offers inviting and unusual dishes, offering freshly prepared meat and fish dishes. The handmade tagliatelle with sole sauce were excellent, with a simple yet elegant presentation. Among the main courses, we tried the red mullet with crumbled taralli, swordfish puttanesca, and calamari Catalan-style, as well as a couple of side dishes—dishes that showcased the raw ingredients without seeking gourmet flair, but rather were concrete and essential. The sweet finish is worthy of the rest: lemon cream curd with extra virgin olive oil, a true house classic, hazelnut gelato with moretta, and a delicious brownie with homemade gelato. All finished with a good coffee. Perhaps we were also lucky to be there on a cold day with little attendance, so we were able to chat with the owner and chef, who shared a few kitchen secrets with us, and it was an even more interesting moment. The summer effect with outdoor seating is also worth trying.

01/12/2025: Nassi, the owner and chef, was very kind and helpful, along with her entire staff. There were about a dozen of us for Sunday lunch. She was able to accommodate the needs of both adults and children, advising us on how to best organize the menu. Even the table settings were carefully designed to facilitate interaction with the people at our table, a gesture that was greatly appreciated. For dessert, I asked if she could make a chocolate cake, and of course she said no problem; it was truly delicious. She took care of everything, pampered us, and even provided a candle since we forgot. Her advice on choosing a bottle of wine to accompany dessert was also excellent. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, accompanied by some appropriate music playing in the background. We will definitely be back. Gluten-free dishes are also available! 05/01/2026: It's easy to describe this pastry shop: excellent products, the croissant with dark chocolate chips is something to remember. The place is welcoming and meticulously cared for down to the last detail. The owner and her staff are professional, polite, and friendly. I often go for breakfast, even if it's not on my way to work, because it's so worth it. I returned from Christmas break but found it closed; I'll wait for it to reopen.

14/01/2026: I asked to add caramel to my iced latte, even if it cost extra. The barista replied that she couldn't do it because "the recipes are fixed and can't be changed." Honestly, it makes no sense. It's normal to customize a coffee in any bar, especially if the customer pays more. Here, however, there's total inflexibility, no valid explanations, and an unhelpful attitude. If you can't even add caramel to a coffee, maybe the problem isn't the recipe but the service. I won't be back.

26/02/2026: Quiet and basic, yet clean, rooms. There's a minibar with free bottled water (which isn't a given these days). Comfortable bathroom. Abundant and varied breakfast, ample parking. Friendly and helpful staff. A good base if you're in the Ancona area!

28/10/2025: Review – October 28, 2025 Unfortunately, an experience not to be repeated. The restaurant looks very nice: a refined, elegant atmosphere, and all the makings for a pleasant dinner… but unfortunately, things went differently. Nothing to complain about the service, which was kind and attentive, but the food was disappointing in every way. We ordered a portion of Ascoli olives, an Amatriciana, a Norcina, a sliced ​​steak to share, a bottle of water, and a Coke. The Ascoli olives were inedible (and calling them that is almost a compliment). The meat used for the olives was of terrible quality—at that point, I thought, if the meat used for the olives tasted like that, I'd better not imagine the rest… The Norcina is a safe bet, neither good nor bad. The Amatriciana, on the other hand, doesn't even deserve its name: guanciale (pork cheek) that isn't really guanciale (pork cheek) and an excessive amount of pepper (and that's coming from someone who really loves pepper!). For the sliced ​​steak, specifically arugula and parmesan, we'd asked for it to be rare: it arrived well done, tough to cut, and with an unpleasant odor. I refused to try it, my companion tried a bite, and we left it there. We paid the bill anyway (we only pointed out the "fact" after paying)—honestly, the only positive aspect, given that the price was reasonable. In summary: beautiful location, friendly service, but the food quality definitely needs updating.

01/10/2025: We stopped at this restaurant for lunch with two friends and my daughter at 1:15 PM. We asked if we could sit down and were told it was full. Seeing many empty tables, even outside, we insisted, asking for explanations, and only after several questions were we finally seated. The food was mediocre but acceptable. The price was striking for the quality of what we were served and the overall quality of the service. I should point out that they also charged a cover charge for my 3-year-old daughter, who ate on my plate with me and for whom I asked for an additional small plate, and for the person sitting with us who didn't eat. Cup of milk (coffee cup) with two fingers of foam for my daughter €1.40 Coupon charge €12 (of which 2 adults) 2 seafood salads (€30) Still water €3 Coke €3.50

15/08/2025: Prices tripled, service terrible (the waiters were incompetent and unresponsive when called). The bill was brought to us before we'd finished dessert, without asking if we wanted coffee or liqueurs, citing phantom safety reasons (unknown to us). The owner was unfriendly. The bill was steep for small, unappealing portions. I don't think we'll be back.

17/02/2026: A welcoming, friendly, and professional hotel. The restaurant offers a daily menu and à la carte options. A generous sweet and savory breakfast is available. The room is welcoming...as is the entire staff. A 10-minute drive will take you to Urbino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See you soon!
