Ristorante Pizzeria “Al Castello” In Teglio

Everything was wonderful, from the place to the staff, to the food, to the price. I recommend it 1000 x 1000, compliments.

This is our second time at this restaurant, but this time it didn't go so well. First, I asked for tap water, but it tasted almost like it was reheated. Second, I ordered a bresaola appetizer, and the bresaola was completely tasteless. I pointed this out not to one waitress, but to two, and there was no response or explanation from the restaurant owner. So, I don't consider the service very professional, and especially in a town like Teglio, home of Valtellina bresaola, these things shouldn't happen. The restaurateur must be careful to select quality products, and if a customer points out this shortcoming, they must intervene, first by apologizing and then trying to remedy it somehow.

When we come up to Teglio, this is our first stop...at the castle for the best pizzoccheri in the entire area...plenty...everything is super...a guarantee...everyone is always very kind...

My family and I have been frequenting this restaurant-pizzeria for several years now, and we can assure you that the service and quality have not changed! We especially recommend a pizza as unique as it is delicious: the esaggggerata! It's also my boyfriend's favorite pizza—never go without it!

After visiting Palazzo Besta, we stopped for lunch at the Castello restaurant. Excellent choice, the pizzoccheri were spectacular, as expected. The ribs were also excellent. Their girls and all the staff were excellent. The pizzoccheri dispenser, from the baking dish to the plates, was an artist. We'll be back.
