11/03/2026: Amazing staff, convenient to transportation and great value. You'll have to add a few minutes each day to your sightseeing routine but feels more authentic.

24/03/2026: Il Vero Gusto is a space inside the Sarca shopping center where you'll be pampered by the staff behind the beautiful and inviting counter. Kindness and courtesy are a daily feature, and the coffee and desserts, from gelato to single-serving treats, are top-notch.
I recommend trying them.
23/03/2026: Very good gelato, but I gave one star for the service. Because I'm lactose intolerant, I asked which flavors didn't contain milk, and they told me all the fruit flavors, caramel, and dark chocolate. I ordered the pistachio, the dairy-free coconut, and the grape flavor. I felt terrible, and had to get an anti-vomiting syringe, so obviously there was milk in the grape flavor. Not recommended for those with intolerances or allergies.

The pizza was a sort of breadstick; the outside (what should have been the crust) was flat and crumbled to the touch. The pizza was prepared with dirty hands that had previously handled the menu and money (including the change received in coins), without being washed or wearing gloves. The chips were taken frozen from the freezer and microwaved, piping hot and soft (I've never seen anything like it), and the mayonnaise was placed in a glass without any protection (cellophane or plastic wrap), left loose in the bag. Given my catastrophic experience, I wonder if some of these reviews are true.
24/03/2026: Egyptian pizzeria. They do takeout pizza; you can eat there because they have a small counter with two chairs.
It seems to be family-run, and local residents speak highly of it.
The lady running the place is very friendly and pleasant.
Other reviews say the dough is easy to digest, and I completely agree. However, it tastes a bit biscuity, and I personally don't like it.
The sauce and mozzarella are fine.
I had a Margherita for €6 in March 2026.
All in all, nothing to complain about.
The problem remains sanitation. The lady who handles payment also cuts the pizzas, so there's contamination.
Finally, the place itself is a bit run-down.

09/03/2026: If you're looking for a pan pizza that doesn't compromise, this is the place! The dough is perfect, but the real highlight is the toppings. Rarely do you find a pizza so rich and generous with ingredients.
The place is primarily for takeout, but they also have tables where you can sit and enjoy your freshly baked pizza in peace. Another plus is the speed of service: despite the constant comings and goings, the wait is minimal.
Special mention for the manager: a delightful, affable, and kind person from times gone by. He makes you feel welcome right away with his helpfulness.
Highly recommended, whether for a quick dinner in or for quality takeout. I'll definitely be back!

01/04/2026: I am, or rather, I was, a regular. I've been coming here with my husband since the interior of the restaurant was completely different from what it is today. We were absolutely not satisfied with tonight's dinner. The service was slow, the bill was steep for very few courses, and the all-you-can-eat menu now has only a few items. We've been told that the menu has been halved since September. There are no hot dishes, and the rest of the menu leaves much to be desired. The fries were limp and bland, the fish had bones, and there was little customer service. We'll never return; we made a fool of ourselves in front of our guests.

02/12/2025: Only go if you have at least an hour: the service is really slow even if you order the menu of the day. The food is adequate, nothing exceptional, and the prices are too high: 30 euros for two starters, water, and coffee seems really too much! There are plenty of places where you can eat more, better, and spend less at lunch. Furthermore, the rudeness of the waitress, who, faced with a misunderstanding—which can happen—blamed me for not understanding the menu, doesn't speak well. It's a shame because the place is nice.
