29/01/2025: Such an amazing experience, gourmet designed dishes and variety of carne, pollo, e pesche! Not to be missed if nearby, though not a view of Como, service is unmatched with kindness in English e Italiano. Chef prepared in house Dolce, food items are a work of art.

26/01/2025: 5 super stars to Giovanni, for his professionalism, delicacy and care not only in serving tables. I got up to go to the bathroom without realizing that a gentleman did the same immediately after seeing me. Mr. Giovanni, a waiter in the restaurant who noticed the suspicious behavior, had the delicacy to wait outside the services to ask me if I was okay. Nothing happened, that customer just had to go to the bathroom like me, but with everything we hear around I felt lucky. If there were more people like that, the world would be a better place. We ate and drank very well in a simple but well-kept place with impeccable service. It will be a pleasure to return if we pass through Varenna again

18/12/2024: I would like to thank your chef Ozay Bal in your presence. I have never eaten such a good pizza anywhere. The service is very good, the presentation is wonderful. Next time I come to Italy, I will come to you again for chef Özay. I recommended it to all my friends who are in Turkey and will come there.

25/11/2024: We have stopped here every year the past 3 years while visiting Varenna. It is right across from the ferry ticket office. The first time we stopped after visiting Bellagio waiting for our taxi. After the first time we now always stop here. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is wonderful and you’re on the shore of Lake Como with a wonderful view. Will return the next time we are here.

03/01/2025: A truly positive surprise in the town of Moggio. A well-kept and typical Tuscan environment, as are the excellent food and the very friendly service. All three times we have been we have found a special attention to detail in the preparations and a very welcoming service. Really nothing to complain about this place, highly recommended!

30/12/2024: Nice Tuscan restaurant in Valsassina. You can taste Tuscan specialties with excellent Florentine meat.

29/10/2024: Los propietarios nos aceptaron a pesar de que vinimos 1 h antes de su apertura de la noche. La comida y el vino eran geniales, nos sentimos bienvenidos con cuidado personal porque no había nadie más - los italianos no cenan a las 6 pm : )

13/01/2025: We had the privilege of having lunch yesterday for the first time in this enchanting restaurant, where the excellent quality of the food, an elegant and romantic atmosphere and kindness and professionalism come together in a perfect combination. Truly a wonderful experience, we were struck by the beauty of this pleasant place and by the friendly and warm welcome. Anniversary celebrated in the best way, we were EXCITED.

15/02/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per passare San Valentino io e la mia ragazza,il locale ha soddisfatto pienamente le nostre aspettative, Cucina ottima,ricette tradizionali ma personalizzate dalla mano della chef, piatti ricercati e molto raffinati. Il servizio non era da meno, bellissima accoglienza molto professionali (servizio di livello), il responsabile e la cameriera bravissimi a creare un atmosfera elegante e grazie al loro carisma anche calorosa. Ci torneremo sicuramente

24/12/2024: A friend had recommended this food spot to me so of course, I was very keen to give it a go. When we had arrived the restaurant was still closed so my friend and I sat and waited on one of the outdoor tables. Minutes before they were due to open, a waiter entering the restaurant passed by and snapped, 'these tables are clean', as if we had dirtied them in any way - which we hadn't. We were quite taken aback as he could've used a much better approach. Still we waited and when they were ready for us to enter, I had stood just outside the entrance waiting to go in when the same short, round pathetic man with brown floppy hair impatiently asked me to move out of the way by saying 'excuse me' three times in an abrupt manner. At this point we were really put off and as we were deciding on whether to stay or not we continued to observe this strange behavior as he served other people. We witnessed him roll his eyes at a couple because they merely changed their mind about being seated outside. As we walked away in disgust, he then had the audacity to come and stand in the doorway with a female colleague, staring and smirking at us. Massive shame and appalling behavior - he's only lucky we weren't bothered to create a fuss whilst on holiday. All turned out well in the end as we ate in a lovely restaurant, Ristorante Borgovino, which is a stones throw away and had the best lasagna ever served by some much friendlier people that own THE cutest dog! :)

08/11/2024: Prima volta in questo ristorante, selezionato per le recensioni positive. E’ stata una piacevole sorpresa, sia il locale molto famigliare, sia il cibo. Abbiamo preso una tartelletta ai funghi e un risotto al pesce persico e un ottico prosecco Franciacorta. Un po’ alto il conto ma ne vale la pena.

23/10/2024: I didn’t even stay there because I was in another city. But they helped me and my wife find a taxi when we had problems with the boat. Overall, very kind staff in an excellent location.

14/10/2024: Stayed here to start our honeymoon (Sept 2019) and it was amazing. Such a memorable stay. Does anyone know if they sell the scent that permeates the hotel?
