15/08/2025: A challenging climb for someone like me who isn't trained, but it was totally worth it. The refuge is a breathtaking gem, both for the care and for the peace and quiet and the view. Elena was super kind, welcoming, and smiling. Considering she does everything herself, I really appreciate it. For convenience, I recommend letting us know if you're going up for both lunches and overnight stays. The food is excellent, and all the dishes are authentic. A 10 for the effort and simplicity.

10/08/2025: Fantastic. Elena and Simone were super welcoming. Two friends and I made the climb using the "pertica." The effort was worth it: magnificent views and moments of true connection.

15/09/2025: If you love thick, generously topped pizza, a stop at Tortuga in Verderio is a must! A welcoming and informal place, perfect for both takeout and enjoying a delicious pizza on the spot. The real stars of the show, however, are Osvaldo and Daniela, the two owners: always kind, smiling, and super helpful. It's wonderful to see how the rest of their family contributes to creating a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. In addition to the truly excellent pizza, thick and soft as tradition demands, there's also the option of artisanal gelato, either to takeout or to enjoy in a beautiful cone. In short, Tortuga isn't just a pizzeria: it's a go-to place for anyone seeking quality, courtesy, and a genuine smile every time they come in.

02/10/2025: Wonderful place, it has changed a lot, the service is immediate and excellent as always, the food has improved a lot compared to other years. The only flaw is that they should introduce unlimited salmon tartare.

26/09/2025: Quick and friendly service in a simple restaurant located on the first floor, above the kart track. A wide selection of tasty, carefully prepared vegetarian dishes. The fish is average for all-you-can-eat restaurants.

01/07/2025: A small restaurant with a pizzeria with an extraordinary view. Unfortunately there are no outdoor tables. The place is very characteristic, the food is good and the prices are very reasonable. It's a shame about the complete lack of parking in the area. You have to walk a long way

08/06/2025: Nothing special... high quality/price ratio, mussels as an appetizer, the sauce was good, but you had to look for the mussels with a magnifying glass... The first courses were decent but not very good, the sauce was separate from the cuttlefish ink tagliatelle... Desserts: good Catalan cream, tiramisu too soaked in water (the coffee was barely noticeable).

06/11/2025: I've rarely had problems but today was the worst..? In short I asked for fries with cheddar and bacon, I took out the bacon but they brought it to me anyway with bacon, I went to ask for a change and they gave it to me... But after a while I found... whatever this is in the middle of the fries (it was hard like a stone) I was shocked I've never seen anything like it

28/10/2025: Extremely dirty floor, overflowing garbage bin...indecent tables...and the staff doesn't even come out to clean.

20/07/2025: Lecco Rowing Center - A disappointing experience for pet owners. We arrived at the Lecco Rowing Center intending to have lunch at the restaurant, but were very disappointed to discover that dogs are not allowed inside. While I understand that each establishment has its own policies, in an era when more and more establishments are adapting to accommodate pet owners, this rigidity seems anachronistic, especially considering it's a lakeside location where many people come to spend time outdoors, even with their four-legged companions. The restaurant staff was kind in informing us of the rules, but despite having an outdoor area where we could at least have a drink, they forced us to leave. I recommend that the center consider a more inclusive policy regarding pets, to avoid unpleasant surprises for visitors.

28/08/2025: The pasta dishes were a huge disappointment. Tasteless Bolognese pasta with lots of fat, making it very indigestible. Seafood pasta had a suspicious odor and undercooked, frozen seafood with a "rubber" texture. The bread served was also bland and probably frozen. The dining room was very large and noisy due to a large screen and high volume. Since I wasn't able to eat my entire dish, I expressed my dissatisfaction and was offered a goodwill gesture upon payment. I do not recommend it due to the poor quality of the products and the rather expensive service.

27/08/2025: It's really great here. Friendly waiters and good food. English is spoken here, and you can order vegan pizza. Thanks :) Dessert is also delicious and the prices are fair.

15/09/2025: I had to revise my previous rating (4*) after yesterday's visit with friends. The price for a Crodino was absurd, at €6, accompanied by some "discount" fries. It seems frankly excessive, considering we didn't order anything from the buffet and we weren't even issued a receipt for our drinks. It's a shame, I (or rather, we) liked the place, but we're unlikely to return.

16/09/2025: We had a good experience with the burger, but we tried the chicken cutlet and it wasn't quite there in terms of quantity. I don't think there was more than 50-60 grams of chicken—certainly not a chicken breast, but not even half—for €12.90, it was too little. The beers were always good. The waitresses were very kind. But I went home hungry.

16/08/2025: Be sure to get the nachos, they're amazing!!! I often come here with friends or as a couple, and I've always had a great experience. The quality/price ratio is excellent, as are the portions. The atmosphere is casual; I recommend coming in the summer, especially since the weather is truly wonderful, right on Lake Annone. The guy who served us was truly helpful and humble; he even contacted the kitchen directly to make sure we knew exactly what we were ordering! Professional. Kudos also to the inventive menu, which you can check online. It's super friendly and very enjoyable, as well as offering a wide selection of veggies, pizzas, and sandwiches. This place is truly a gem, not to be missed; it's well worth a visit. Be careful on Mondays, as they often have the "Cervellone" quiz, so it's likely to be packed. I recommend booking... and maybe even taking part with friends; it's a lot of fun!
