The wine selection is excellent, especially the local ones. The young man assigned to our table was very kind and knowledgeable. Thanks to the owner, Patty, for the warm welcome she gave us. We will definitely be back.

05/09/2025: A restaurant specializing in seafood, offering a wide, but not overwhelming, selection and a constantly updated daily special. Excellent value, sophisticated pairings, and exquisite flavors. Fresh or not, the fish is always cooked to perfection, complemented by impeccable presentation and quick, courteous service, courtesy of a young, helpful staff. If you're passing through Ceriale and you enjoy seafood, a stop at Ostaia du Ma is a must. Congratulations, guys! Keep up the good work!

01/09/2025: Found it by chance. The first time they ran out of fried calamari, but the food was excellent. We returned very satisfied. They were very kind. I stained my shirt and without asking, they brought stain remover. We returned for the fried calamari, which was excellent. RECOMMENDED.

03/10/2025: When we finally arrived at the hotel after a long drive, we were warmly welcomed by Bruno and Mara. During check-in, we were offered espresso and then went straight to our rooms, all of which were very cozily furnished. The beach is also just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Bruno was always available to answer any questions we had. We'll definitely be back :)

29/08/2025: You have to experience it to understand this paradise surrounded by beautiful plants, facing the sea where you can still breathe the air of that jukebox where you put in 100 lire and dedicated the song to your beloved... Try it....

15/09/2025: Found this place while strolling through the narrow alley. I'd passed it many times but never noticed it because the actual entrance is in an alley. We booked for dinner. We went in and the table we booked wasn't ready because we had the option of inside or outside. We opted for the open-air one, which despite facing the street and the train tracks is tucked away in a small, very charming and intimate courtyard. The seafood appetizer was a bit sterile but tasty. The hot fish soup was DELICIOUS! The rabbit was good but too spicy, covering up the gamey flavor. In any case, you could tell there was someone passionate behind the dishes. The owner was very nice in his manners but also a bit restrained, I don't understand why. His voice and firmness, you have a nice place! But maybe it was just an off day. The only downside, I'm sorry to say, is the lack of service, very timid. I assume the guy is either new or not in the business at all, disoriented as if he'd just stumbled upon it by chance, but he was very sweet anyway. Have more confidence in yourself, raise your voice and head held high, because it's a fortune to work in this village, I say this as a former restaurateur... if it weren't for the fact that I have a life here, I would reply to the ad posted :).

Try this restaurant, a rare gem in Albenga's dining scene. 18/08/2025: We had dinner here this evening by chance. On our way back from the beach, we decided to dine out with some friends. The place was lovely and the food was delicious: seafood carbonara spaghetti, spaghetti with bottarga, gnocchi with pesto, capon magro, sea bream fillet, barracuda... all delicious. We finished with excellent homemade desserts. All in all, a great experience. (Gluten-free options too! 😍)

04/10/2025: Idyllic pearl nested in the hills. It’s truly a little Eden, with chickens, gardens and plenty of secret sitting places for privacy. All this with breathtaking views of the ocean and very friendly staff.
