03/09/2025: A special evening requires a special place, a special setting, and special treatment. We wanted to treat ourselves this evening, on a normal Wednesday in early September, going to a new place that inspired us based on reviews seen here on Google Maps, as many do. The high scores were absolutely deserved. Courteous staff accompanied the dishes served with accurate descriptions, taking care of the guest from the very beginning with a delicate welcome entrée that, in our case, immediately delighted our taste buds. A delicate octopus and a plate of stuffed zucchini flowers made us understand that every star was deserved. For me, a fried vegetable and mixed seafood dish captured my desire for fish with a hint of sage. My wife's ravioli (also fish-based) were enveloping and very flavorful, with a reduction that was more of a composition of flavors than a condiment. Our daughter didn't want us to finish dinner, so she had to finish it early. Despite this, I was pleasantly surprised by a mini selection of desserts for two at the restaurant, which I unfortunately wasn't able to try. They also took care of our little dog and the needs of our little girl and her food. A restaurant I've already started recommending to everyone I know and intend to do so here too. I hope to return soon. Congratulations.

02/09/2025: After many years of not coming to this restaurant, we returned on Friday, August 29th. Unfortunately, it was a very windy evening, cold, and our table was on the outdoor lawn. It was impossible to sit inside; fortunately, they moved us to the veranda, where the difference was minimal. Although there are side awnings, they weren't used. We couldn't sit inside. We agreed, but had a quick dinner (depending on the service) and then left. The food is always good, and the service is decent, but it's not the Babette of a few years ago. Still, recommended, but check the weather forecast. My review is meant to be critical, not polemical, and as I always say, it's based on my personal opinion and quality standards.

26/08/2025: For me, the best ice cream shop in Albenga. The "Malaga" flavor (no longer available at other ice cream shops) is exceptional! And what can I say about the extra dark chocolate... superb!!! Everyone is very kind and helpful.

18/08/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I tried the gelato from Kadò Gelateria and was really satisfied! I tried the violet and mango flavors: a surprising combination, fresh and creamy. My partner also chose melon and I chose almond when we were in Albenga, all excellent and well-balanced in flavor. The quality is immediately apparent: genuine ingredients, authentic flavor, and a perfect consistency. I brought a kilo of violet and mango gelato with me to Como, and it arrived in excellent condition, a sign that the gelato shop takes great care in packaging. I highly recommend this gelato shop to anyone passing through Albenga: in addition to the classic flavors, they also have unique and refined combinations. I will definitely be back! 🍦💜🥭

11/07/2025: We're on vacation here in Albenga, and for my daughter's birthday, we ordered a cake from this pastry shop. The staff are incredibly friendly, the price is fair, and the cake is excellent. Every time you come in, they always give you a taste of one of their sweet treats. After picking up the cake, they also gave me a bag of savory tarallini because they've been making savory ones for a year now... Highly recommended!

09/09/2025: I had dinner here last night with my wife. We were in Alassio for a few days' vacation and tried this place after reading the recent positive reviews. I have to say I agree with what I've read: we were greeted impeccably, the service was friendly and fast, and the dishes were simply amazing: the pesto pappardelle with shrimp, the fritto misto was fantastic, the house wine was good, and the bill was very fair. I'll definitely be back.

22/07/2025: Vi spiser meget fisk på restaurant og derfor inspireres vi af dette når vi tilbereder hjemme. Denne aften delte vi en forret bestående af blåmuslinger i krydret tomatsauce — muslinger var perfekt tilberedt og fonden velsmagende. Til hovedret fik vi veltilberedt tun med grillet tomat og 2 hele arme blæksprutte i kartoffelcreme - tilberedt til perfektion og derfor utrolig velsmagende. Angela som betjente os var utrolig nærværende, smilende og positiv ( en sjælden oplevelse i en travl turist by. Næste vi besøger Alassio vil vi helt sikkert besøge denne restaurant igen 🤗 Mange tak for en dejlig aften og god oplevelse 🙏

20/07/2025: Sono tornato a mangiare alla Banchina 51 e come sempre sono stato bene, ottimi piatti, ottime materie prime, ottimo servizio. Devo dire che ho trovato ,rispetto al passato, dei piatti migliorati sotto l'aspetto della preparazione, quella maionese agli agrumi sul baccalà in tempura era una chicca che ha reso il piatto squisito. Alla Banchina non vado per mangiare, ma per mangiare " bene", è solo una parola in più ma fa tutta la differenza del mondo. Complimenti a tutto lo staff
