08/09/2025: I had dinner at this magnificent restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I had a first course, a second course, a dessert, a small glass of prosecco, and a coffee. The service was quick, and the waiters were very kind and friendly. I highly recommend this place; I'll be back.

22/09/2025: After years of not being able to eat focaccia, I stumbled upon this place, which serves a variety of focaccias, including gluten-free ones. I tried the cheese version and the regular one: incredible! They were just as I remembered. Thank you so much! For those with a sweet tooth, they also have coconut, hazelnut, and almond cookies, all gluten-free. P.S. You need to call the day before to reserve the gluten-free focaccia. I also recommend reserving the farinata because it sells out quickly (also gluten-free).

08/12/2025: A delicious dinner featuring exceptional cuisine by the talented Luciana and professional service, with a warm welcome from her husband Fabrizio, who is capable, courteous, and highly competent. One of my favorite restaurants on the Western Riviera, where I happily frequent with friends, relatives, and even international guests! As a resident, I can confidently say that A Ciappa is among the best restaurants in the Western Riviera for its sheer quality and excellent value.

30/11/2025: Excellent location in a quiet place, surrounded by greenery a few kilometers from the sea. It shouldn't be called an Osteria (which is very little) but a restaurant given the quality/quantity/price ratio. Wine only à la carte with a markup that is truly too exaggerated for what it costs at the origin. There is no paper menu, only visible with a QR code via an app that you must have downloaded to your phone. If I don't have my phone with me because I forgot or by choice there is no alternative. Considering the prices, the presentation and the quantity of the dishes you expect a certain type of service, instead the waiters served us in sneakers, jeans and a sweatshirt, one even with short sleeves with bracelets that caught and hairy arms in contact with the plates. They can serve me like this in a real osteria and I accept it, but not in a place where the cheapest dish is 16 euros and of a modest quantity. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't go back.

17/11/2025: This tavern on the hills above Spotorno, near Voze, serves mainly meat-based cuisine. It's a very rustic setting surrounded by greenery. The food is average, and the wine is only available by the bottle. A good wine list. The quality/price ratio could be better. Overall, a pleasant, convivial day spent with friends. A child-friendly place.

02/11/2025: Pleasantly surprised, Pino accompanied us throughout the dinner. We chatted during each course, and his passion for what he does impressed me. Excellent ingredients, passion, and imagination are the secrets of his dishes. Even a simple salad transforms into an explosion of colors, flavors, textures, and aromas. Bravo, Pino. I'll be back! Excellent wine.

12/12/2025: Went for dinner just before 8pm. Service is friendly but very slow. They were more attentive to the table before us. After taking our orders, we were served with a welcome snack, chickpea fritters. I find them a tad bit salty and could use with a dip. It's not oily but you can taste the oil flavor on it. We were also served with a platter of small sliced bread, break sticks (lovely flavor) and small sliced toasted bread with olive oil and rosemary/oregano (also very lovely flavor). You need to request for the olive oil/balsamic vinegar as it's not placed on the table as a setup. For my main, I ordered the green spaghetti with tuna. Nice dish but a bit salty. The portion is very good. I didn't have any dessert but my friends ordered the vanilla ice-cream with cake/ biscuits on the side. The portion of ice cream was a bit too small to accompany the 4 big pieces of cake/biscuits. The cake/biscuits is very dry too. All-in-all, it was a good experience. Would I go back again? Yes. Irregardless of the mentioned above as the food is still good and I loved the ambiance of the restaurant.

26/09/2025: A wonderful surprise in the heart of Albenga. A restaurant offering traditional Ligurian and other dishes, overlooking Piazza Domenico Tricheri. A simple location with a large and welcoming outdoor terrace. You're immediately welcomed by Roberto, a courteous and friendly person who made the entire evening a memorable one. The digital menu offers appetizers, first courses, jacket potatoes, meats such as tagliata and tartare, burgers, salads, and desserts. For drinks, in addition to water, wine, and soft drinks, there are also local beers. Service is prompt and attentive. The food is excellent, very tasty, and has bold flavors. The jacket potatoes are absolutely delicious. The bill is perfect, and the prices are not at all high and very affordable. In conclusion, I highly recommend trying this restaurant and will definitely return as soon as I have the opportunity.
