25/10/2025: What a shame! The food is always excellent, the location has a stunning view, and the service is fast and friendly... but they've raised the prices WAY too high! 25 euros for a plate of tagliolini with seafood (delicious), 10 euros for half a liter of house wine, 8 euros for a tiramisu in a small glass, 7 euros for a small plate of sautéed chicory. Bottom line: for three of us, eating a total of an appetizer, a first course, two second courses, two side dishes, three desserts, half a liter of house wine, a mineral water, and a coffee... 152 euros, or 50 euros each. Madness! The food was very good, but it's no longer the Amedeo vegetable garden it once was. It's still a very good osteria, but with prices of a 4-star restaurant.

27/03/2026: Panigacci served with a charcuterie board, but also a vegetarian option. Very good, freshly prepared. A wonderful discovery, I recommend it!

12/02/2026: The panigacci are good. The cured meats are good, too. Excellent beer, fair prices. The homely courtesy, which isn't always a given, is a given.

23/08/2025: I immediately want to review this magnificent place... 20 minutes from La Spezia. Fantastic location, we were there today my husband and I wanted to spend a relaxing day and well what can I say today was truly a wonderful day ❤️ as soon as we arrived greeted by the owner who was leaving, very kind and helpful.. Mrs. Claudia fantastic, the girl who served us with a smile every time she came, in short kindness is truly at home.. then by chance we had everything to ourselves so we had a great time.. we used the aperitif lunch formula which super kindly and just for an exception they let us taste at the tables below❣️ it was all super good and plentiful.. thank you for making us spend a day like this.. we will definitely be back... I might even think about it for my 40th birthday 😅

10/10/2025: A truly lovely surprise. It was organized at the last minute, and they were quick, efficient, and courteous. The quality and quantity of the food provided for the aperitif was more than good. The cocktails were also well-made. We'll be back.

09/10/2025: A late aperitif because of us. Pleasant and informal. The accompanying platter consisted almost exclusively of focaccia.

30/12/2025: We had dinner this evening at this restaurant. Antonella, the employee, was incredibly good, fast, and always smiling. I think it's necessary, however, to have another person to help manage the service, as it's impossible for one employee to do everything, even though she's absolutely capable. I sincerely hope she can take on important roles within the company because she's truly an excellent worker!

30/11/2025: A very homely place, away from the chaos, very homemade and modest dishes and almost no choice (the menu included 1 appetizer, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, 2 side dishes, 1 dessert) .. good local appetizers that also include some homemade preserves.

10/11/2025: Not nice at all. We had a reservation for 12:30 today… and the restaurant was closed! To travel all that way for nothing.

18/01/2026: I went with my family for lunch...and I wish I'd never done that before. Dirty plates and cutlery. Really filthy atmosphere. It should be closed.

07/11/2025: We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of another restaurant owner. Neighborhood restaurant, nice decor, but the atmosphere was incredibly dull, with no background music whatsoever. The pasta carbonara... indescribable. The stew had a strange taste; perhaps the cream was expired. The mixed seafood platter was very generous, but its freshness was questionable. We didn't try the dessert. However, the glass of red wine was very good. The restrooms and hygiene in general leave much to be desired. In short, a restaurant to forget.

04/01/2026: Delicious pizza by the slice (we tried the pesto one and the one with fresh tomatoes and capers), as well as the cheese and schiacciata focaccia. Small and cozy place, you can eat in. The person at the counter is pleasant.

05/10/2025: A very charming B&B set high in the mountains overlooking Levanto in the distance - the rooms are spacious and decorated simply, but comfortably. Mine had a day bed with views over the mountains towards Monterosso. The two ladies on reception were friendly and helpful and helped to steer us in the right direction when plans went awry due to the weather. The restaurant was reasonably solid - the pasta dishes were the standouts - the service inconsistent. Reaching breakfast at 10.03 am I was told that the chef had left so nothing could be done. After a bit of coaxing I managed to get a dry cake and a coffee. (Also there is no chef in the morning I later discovered ...) Relying on taxis is a pain - while the prices are ostensibly fixed, that is not the case. 'Speedy' - who seemingly lives up to his name by his driving and perhaps for other reasons - charged EUR20 over the odds per trip. So expect to pay circa EUR80 per day for two 15 minute trips. Great spot - but best to have your own transport and I'd suggest eating out, particularly if the breakfast is not included.

14/10/2025: Excellent pizzeria, delicious dough, high-quality ingredients, and a wide selection on the menu. The farinata is a must-try. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

25/03/2026: Restaurant Review · Sarzana, Liguria Caffè Teatro Completely Disappointing ★☆☆☆☆ 1 out of 5 stars A café called "Teatro" raises expectations – one imagines atmosphere, a certain flair, perhaps even a small stage for enjoyment. What awaited us instead was a performance we would have been better off skipping. Unfriendly, inattentive, unkempt – three low points in one visit. The café was practically empty that afternoon – ideal conditions, then, for attentive service. But no one asked us what we would like to drink. No eye contact, no smile, not a hint of hospitality. After some waiting, I had to go to the counter myself and order – in a place where table service is both possible and desirable. When the drinks finally arrived, the server placed everything in front of my partner – without any regard for who had ordered what. A minor issue? Perhaps. But overall, it reflects an indifference that permeated the entire visit. The absolute low point, however, was the restroom. What we found there was simply unacceptable: unkempt, filthy, in a state that should not be tolerated in a public café. This raises serious questions about hygiene – not just in the restrooms, but throughout the entire establishment. Conclusion: Sarzana has beautiful spots and good cafés – this one unfortunately isn't among them. Anyone looking for a relaxing break with friendly service should move on. Not recommended. 04/03/2026: The bar is okay, but it's unacceptable that the staff can't do anything when someone smokes inside the outdoor area! I went for coffee with my 1-year-old daughter and there were three tables with smokers. It's unacceptable.
