If they close tomorrow, I'm happy.
10/06/2025: It's not the first time I've been to Ambrosia, but this time it's already the second time it's disappointed me. I ordered two sgabei to take away and as soon as I took them they were cold as if they had been there for an hour or at least not made at the moment. It's not for anything else, but paying and finding cold sgabei didn't go down well with me. Once they were much better now they were rubbery and difficult to chew on top of being cold. I didn't like it at all.

04/07/2025: ...arrivato il mio turno per ritirare il piatto ordinato viene servito il signore dopo di me, pazienza! poi viene servita anche la signora dopo, che fra l'altro aveva ordinato il mio stesso piatto. La signora gentilmente ha fatto presente che c'ero prima io, nonostante ciò l'addetta ha continuato a servirle i suoi ordini .

21/08/2025: Dated hotel. The room we stayed in was quite run-down, with a half-broken French window, a rusty towel warmer, a blind bathroom with a fan that begged for mercy.
The parking lot is a pothole.
Breakfast has limited choices and all packaged products.
It doesn't justify the price.
It's a shame because, on the contrary, the staff is very kind and helpful, and the restaurant area is very beautiful.

13/06/2025: Congratulations on the restyling of the establishment! Finally you can breathe a new air. Tidy beach, clean services, well-positioned umbrellas. And the pizzeria in the evening creates a beautiful convivial atmosphere. We will definitely return.

19/06/2025: I was with colleagues and I must say that, out of a total of 10 people, 9 had severe diarrhea, so the problem is obvious. Too bad because the panigacci were really good. Less cured meats and cheeses.
The salami was terrible.
I certainly won't go back and I recommend stocking up on Lactic Ferments and Imodium.

01/07/2025: The farinata was delicious, and we've had much better pizzas. The service was excellent. She made an effort to speak Italian slowly so we could understand her (we were speaking Spanish and sign language).
The brownie for dessert was wonderful (a little bitter, rich, not too sweet), but the other desserts weren't very tasty.

23/07/2025: Wow, I have been to Italy now for 9 days and out of all cities this is the best pizza I have eaten so far. Congrats to Valentino, very good guy!
19/07/2025: 1 hour wait for 2 dry pizzas, I don't understand how they have a title with this quality. I hope the restaurant offers better quality than the takeaway service which is catastrophic (waiting, hygiene, staff...).

29/07/2025: Ordered 2 baby pizzas, 1 Margherita, and a focaccia, paid for, 3 arrived, called back and reported that they resent the missing one. I'll start by saying that the three had already arrived late. Terrible quality, both in delivery and in the pizzas. I will never, ever order from this pizzeria again. I had to give one star otherwise I wouldn't have published the review, but for me it's worth 0 stars.
22/07/2025: A good place for takeout pizza. The staff are very knowledgeable and able to handle large crowds. The pizza, in my opinion, is among the best in La Spezia. I'm happy to live nearby.
