My friends and I had an amazing dinner here. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt authentic and special 🙌🏻 The Hugo Spritz was delicious, and the carbonara was fantastic. Highly recommended! 🤗

We had dinner on Saturday night, there were 13 of us, and I can say it was the best culinary experience we had during our vacation in La Spezia. Anyone who doesn't give this restaurant 5 stars doesn't understand anything. I've been to six restaurants and I know what quality/price means. Unbeatable!! Congratulations, I can't wait to go back ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I asked the locals for advice and they directed me to Cholesterol. It was an excellent experience, starting with the service, where the waiter Ermes was very professional and always present at the table. The dishes were very good and plentiful (I recommend the spaghetti allo scoglio). We also had the really good beef tagliata. The place is a bit small, but as they say, "good things come in small packages." It's 5 minutes from the seafront and the port where you can take boats to visit the Cinque Terre. My 12 friends and I, who were there with me, recommend it to anyone who is on holiday in La Spezia and is looking for a place to eat.

What a wonderful experience! I was looking for dinner in La Spezia, and I discovered that everything here closes early and usually works with reservations. I went to about 5 restaurants and received a "reservation" sign. When I passed by this restaurant, I was very well received. I was very lucky because it quickly filled up. The smell was already wonderful and very inviting. I was guided by the very kind waiter and ordered this magnificent seasonal dish. A dish that made a girl at the next table ask what I had ordered. And the taste was incredible. The mussels were perfectly cooked. The sauce was wonderful and the portion was huge... I ordered a tiramisu to finish, which was also excellent! I recommend it! Pleasant atmosphere, tasty food and very kind staff.

Very good for typical Italian food. We ordered two pasta dishes, a carbonara and a seafood spaghetti, and a homemade tiramisu to share, which were excellent. Very reasonably priced.

Absolutely delicious, especially for the price! A lovely restaurant, and surprisingly not crowded. Very quiet as there was no background music. Even a simple dish like pasta with tomato sauce was incredibly tasty!

21/05/2026: Beautiful old-style dining room (slipcovers on the chairs, decor...). Lovely terrace, a little removed from the crowds. Prices reflect the quality. The service that day was friendly and efficient (a young man in his forties with a goatee). I'll definitely be back. It's May and it's already busy... in peak season, it might be different... Being a tourist spot, come by bus; it's more of a novelty, but you'll be more relaxed :+))
16/05/2026: I've eaten at many restaurants, but this one definitely ranks among my best experiences. The dishes are expertly prepared and don't conform to the usual standard fare found in 95% of restaurants. If you're looking for something special, I think you're in the best hands with Marco and his team.

15/02/2026: We came here at lunch for a quick catch up with friends. I personally ordered an Hamburger and a Coca Cola which were okay and I’m going to explain why I’m only saying okay and not much more, although I would’ve liked to give it a higher review I think the hamburger is heavy and greasy. It’s overloaded, the top bun was very thick and the bottom one was so thin that it couldn’t hold the weight of the meat on top. Whenever I tried to take a bite it would fall apart so that pushed me to use utensils to eat it. With this said I somehow enjoyed my meal but in my opinion it’s not worth the hype. The view is stunning I certainly found myself captivated by the landscape and the welcoming entrance of the local. It’s a first experience , will I come back? Probably but I expect more. Overall the service is nice the waiter was very professional, I would rate it a personal 4 star. Thank you for having me on this wonderful Sunday and I cannot wait to try more of the food.
