11/11/2025: Great location with lovely views - especially from the room’s balcony.
However, in general the hotel is very tired and in need of renovation. The facilities in the room were quite poor, very old shower, not even a kettle. The food was also average at best.
A steep walk down to town (and back up !) and no shuttle offered, except on arrival and departure. No help with baggage to the room either (and no lift).
All in all, a disappointing stay.
15/09/2025: A lovely hotel to stay in for a few days during your holiday on the Italian coast. Try to get a room with a balcony. The view of the bay and the hill is fantastic!

11/10/2025: Excellent place for dinner. We've been there a couple of times and had some delicious burgers and sandwiches, with exquisite service from the owners and a very pleasant atmosphere. If you're in La Spezia, you won't regret it.

24/03/2026: A quaint place, friendly staff, and good food. I went with a couple of friends for my birthday. Everything was delicious, and the bill seemed reasonable for the quality of the food and wine. I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again.

19/04/2026: "The waiter was excellent and super kind, a real plus. It's a shame about the wait, though: there was too much time between dishes, making the meal incredibly long. The food? Honest, decent dishes, the seafood risotto was very good, and the desserts were excellent. It's a shame, because the staff is worth it, but the kitchen's timing needs to be reconsidered."

19/10/2025: It's great cafe if you want to sit down, chill and observe the towns folks running their errands. It is smaller cafe, not a lot of tables outside and most of them were reserved for lunch hour. Still they tried their best to sit us down. They brought us drinks and they were so friendly to shower us with complimentary snacks. Bonus points from me! Beer was good, Aperol was original and prepared to good taste. I recommend stopping by.

23/10/2025: I've had the pleasure of eating here a few times. The owner, an exceptional chef, is kind and welcoming. The menu changes daily, sometimes offering interesting delicacies. Marco's goulash is a must-try, revisited without cumin, yet it's every inch the same as the traditional Hungarian recipe.
I'll definitely be back.

06/04/2026: Beautiful location right on the water. The trees provide shade so we can enjoy the generous lunch menu. For Easter, there was a seafood appetizer, followed by pasta with mussels and grilled fish fillet. All in all, a wonderful meal. The service was so attentive that they even went the extra mile by adapting our menu to be gluten-free – incredibly delicious gluten-free penne! We wish we had something like this in Germany. And don't forget the limoncello for a digestif! We'll be back – Il Pozzale.

10/04/2026: This is probably the best pizza I've had in my entire life. Thin and crispy, very flavorful sauce and delicious toppings. Our server was very friendly. We had the Nutella focaccia and it did not disappoint. Best meal of our vacation. Right near the cruise terminal and quick!
08/03/2026: Looking for a parking spot, we found ourselves in front of the pizzeria last night. For those who want a pizza or a "infarinata" without spending a fortune, we found it a great choice. The two owners are friendly.
