28/10/2025: the best focaccia in portofino in my opinion! cheap, delicious and served by friendly staff, there was even a little seating area outside upon which to devour it! no pictures, too delicious to wait!

25/10/2025: Terrible service. Only one lady working, glued to her phone the whole time, completely ignoring customers. She forgot to say hello or thank you. Honestly, even a random fast-food place in the U.S. would treat you better. It’s way too expensive for what you get. Hardly any choice on the menu either. Definitely not worth it.

24/03/2025: Non mi ha accettato un pagamento con il bancomat per un importo di 8,50 euro! .. sono dovuto uscire e prelevare e tornare per saldare, inaccettabile!!! Esistono metodi di pagamento a commissioni zero sotto i 10 euro, informatevi! La mia scelta di usare il bancomat è legittima, e sancita da una legge di 10 anni fa. Non tornerò e dirò a chi conosco di fare lo stesso.

04/05/2025: Cari arrabbiati!!! Abbiamo fatto colazione in 3 prendendo 3 cappuccini e 2 brioches ai cereali, dentro erano vuote senza farcitura sedendoci al tavolino. Conto 13.60....più di 4 euro a testa.....e sia il cappuccino che era tutta schiuma e la brioche nulla di che.

02/05/2025: Ci accomodiamo all'esterno ma notiamo che si scocciano di spostarci le sedie ed un tavolino all'ombra, sotttolineando che il sole non e' di agosto (quindi tollerabile). Lasciando perdere questa uscita infelice del cameriere ci accomodiamo, chi all'ombra chi al sole. Prendiamo snack diversi... peccato che non ci fosse nulla di quanto richiesto. Focaccia finita, gelato "non e' periodo ci rispondono" ...assurdo a 25 gradi all'ombra e al mare il gelato non e' di stagione? Allora non portateci nemmeno il menu con l'elenco di tutti i gusti! Ovviamente nemmeno l'altro ordine avevano, che era il frappe', essendo fatto di gelato. Optiamo per un altro dolce... non c'era nemmeno quello.... Ripieghiamo tristemente su qualche bevanda. All'arrivo della cameriera con i nostri ordini dice: "c'e' tutto?" Ci veniva da ridere... non c'e' niente!! Provvedete a rifornire il negozio, e' impensabile che in centro a Genova di domenica pomeriggio non abbiate NULLA!

09/04/2025: Ci siamo fermati su consiglio di un amico ligure per mangiare la focaccia al formaggio , devo dire che mai sosta fu più gradita !!!!!! Favolosa unica , cotta in forno a legna con farciture varie . Vale il viaggio .

29/03/2025: Con delle amiche abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per tre alle ore 21. Arrivate puntali davanti al locale, ce ne siamo dovute andare in quanto ancora alle 21:40 i tavoli erano tutti occupati e c’erano tantissime persone in attesa fuori. Nonostante avessimo chiesto più volte spiegazioni nessuno si è preoccupato di darci il tavolo. Non torneremo mai più

14/06/2025: Abbiamo notato il titolare fare del sarcasmo letteralmente alle spalle di un cliente che indugiava davanti al frigo dei gelati. Una scena come questa non solo si scontra con le tante foto autocelebrative sulla parete ma fa davvero dubitare sul rispetto che si dovrebbe avere nei confronti del cliente. Per il resto abbiamo ordinato delle focacce che non hanno incontrato il nostro gusto. Lo consiglio a chi ricerca un locale con tavoli ed aria condizionata vicino l'università.

09/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un almuerzo casual en un par de ocasiones en HB Café, tanto como era conveniente para nuestro hotel, el personal era muy amable y lo más importante, la comida era buena. A la llegada nos sentaron rápidamente y nos dieron menús. Había un montón de platos para elegir, pero seleccionamos una sabrosa pizza de anchoa para tener con nuestro Campari Spritz. Había una opción de sentarse dentro o fuera de la calle - lado; nos sentamos fuera para ver el "desfile de paso". Los precios eran razonables.

21/09/2025: Yesterday I went to this place and bought a tomato focaccia. Unfortunately, the flavor wasn't the best, and I had a stomachache all night. Furthermore, the price seemed excessive for the quality of the product.

05/10/2025: The kindness of the staff and the extensive, high-quality selection allowed me to cover an impromptu lunch due to traffic and weather delays! Delicious toast and pastries.

28/09/2025: The bar was completely empty. The waitress came out to tell us to move the strollers outside. I could tell if she was standing in front of a door or blocking the passageway, the bar was completely empty. And it's right that it should be that way, considering the staff.

18/02/2025: Treated like paupers. After booking a dinner table and an after-dinner table for 8 friends, after having knowingly consumed the menu with several bottles of Cristal, we asked for the bill and paid the amount due, approximately 10 thousand euros. Given that we didn't see many receipts, only for a small part (I'll keep a good record of them). As the evening continued, we ordered gin and tonics and various other items, which were always paid for without hesitation. Finally, I ordered 3 gin and tonics and 1 Bacardi coke. I asked for the bill and she presented me with 450 euros, which I paid without hesitation. My friends pointed out that it was a maximum of 180 euros, given that they cost 45 euros each. I kindly asked the manager, Mrs. Melinda, for an explanation. She first mentioned another unpaid round, then told me that I had ordered two rounds, and continued to scramble for space, basically not wanting to know. Given that we had settled everything previously with her. After a few minutes of polite discussion, I feel taken for a ride and robbed, telling her OHHHHHH!!! Manager Melinda gets offended and angry, because she was at fault and has us surrounded by security. I explain to her that her behavior is the management of the situation and really poor, and I repeat, poor OHHHH!!! If I had never said that, she's making a circus out of it. Ms. Melinda, we were polite from start to finish, we only asked for what was right and for clarifications, even your staff was astonished by the treatment you gave us, then, clearly at fault, you even had security escort us away (you kicked us out) when we always maintained polite, civil, and honest behavior. Ms. Melinda, you are a terrible manager and you used instrumental violence against us. I will contact your superiors through a lawyer.

16/02/2025: Terrible service, food too... great place and people. Absolutely inappropriate, exorbitant prices. 150 euros per person for the set menu, drinks not included, and 100 euros if you want to stay after dinner. Charging entry for those who have dined seems rather absurd to me.

21/10/2025: Quality pizza. Prices are a little higher than average, but the quality of the ingredients is evident.

01/03/2025: A dicembre in occasione dei mercatini di Natale siamo andati a prendere un aperitivo, cibo ottimo, personale professionale e molto disponibile, essendo il compleanno di mamma ho chiesto a Rocco una candelina da mettere su di un dolce....beh lui ha fatto molto di più, ha messo a sorpresa la canzone di buon compleanno coinvolgendo tutto il locale. Grazie di cuore

24/08/2025: Dated restaurant, if you pay by card it seems like they are doing you a favor, unreadable receipts and very long waiting times, rude and uninterested owner, not a good choice at all, I strongly advise against it

24/08/2025: We came back specifically for pasta and clams, but it was really, really bad. Spaghettini (???!! I've never seen pasta and clams with the very fine ones) were also undercooked. There was no seafood flavor, really disappointing! The quality/price ratio was out of proportion. Too bad. I made a bad impression on the people I brought.

31/10/2025: It arrived more than an hour late, the pizza was raw inside and burnt outside, full of flour on top, and the sauce was raw.

02/09/2025: I ordered two pizzas. The person who answered didn't understand our language... He implied that the pizza delivery man would call me when he was in the area. Of course, no call. On the second call, they apologized and told me I'd receive the long-awaited pizzas within half an hour... but nothing. Third call: someone apologized for the poor service and started telling me about the company's problems. Result? An hour and a quarter late for lukewarm pizzas!!! Never again.

20/09/2025: We were the only customers and we waited too long for our order. The pizza leaves a lot to be desired: thin crust with too little tomato and not enough toppings. I don't recommend it. The welcome was good, but we came to eat.
