27/07/2025: Contrary to some reviews about the service, we had a completely different impression. The ladies serving guests are very friendly and engaged. It's clear they care about their family-run restaurant. The food is simple, yet fresh and delicious. After the lasagna, we were offered tiramisu, which was delicious. Overall, good value for money and a pleasant atmosphere.

21/07/2025: The pasta was mediocre, and the elderly lady serving customers didn't change her clothes for the entire week we were there, and we saw her every day. Hygiene can be questionable.

10/08/2025: The carbonara pasta dish was good, the view is superb. However, the staff is not really smiling or welcoming, I went there around 2:30 p.m. it may seem late but for a Sunday there are some who like to take their time, I was clearly disturbing. I also note the level of English a little complicated to communicate, they spoke to me in Italian even though I said I was French.

08/06/2025: Terrible Experience, Stay Away!!!! We came for the all-you-can-eat deal and were told everything on the menu was included. Turns out that was a lie. The waitress had a nasty attitude from the beginning. She brought our sushi out like she didn’t care at all – it was falling apart, badly made, no effort whatsoever. When we tried to order the more expensive items from the menu, they suddenly “didn’t have them” anymore — yeah, right. Clearly just didn’t want to serve them because they were pricey. Total scammy behavior. Then when we got the bill, they added the dessert as an extra charge. We said it should be included, and instead of handling it calmly, they started yelling at us. Literally raising their voices and being super aggressive, like we were trying to scam them or something. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful. The whole vibe was like they didn’t want us there. Rude faces, bad service, and yelling at customers? No thanks. Food was mid at best. Not worth the money or the stress.

08/05/2025: Siamo entrati in questa piccola e bella pasticceria per comprare qualche dolce tipico ligure prima di ripartire. Devo dire che hanno molte specialità, ma la gentilissia signora che ci ha servito ha consigliato i "canestrelli", veramente divini! Le confezioni mantengono la freschezza dei prodotti e sono belle anche da regalare.

18/07/2025: NON C'E' IL BAGNO. Siamo andati a prendere due caffè e ci e' stato negato il bagno. Ritengo che tale comportamento sia in contrasto con le normative vigenti in materia di igiene e di diritti del consumatore, soprattutto in un esercizio pubblico autorizzato alla somministrazione di alimenti e bevande.

14/07/2025: If you come to Monterosso, this is a place to avoid. It's not that they don't want to work, it's that they couldn't be more unfriendly, anti-tourist, and shameless. We've never been treated as badly as at this bar. At 10:30, they wouldn't give us any more coffee; they said we had to order food otherwise, and there were no coffees. I could add a thousand other things, but I don't want to waste any more time with this terrible bar and its employees and bosses. Don't go; your vacation will be better if you avoid this bar. I can't give them a 10 if I didn't give them one; that's what they deserve.

10/07/2025: A wonderful stopover in Monterosso – Midi Bar The Midi Bar absolutely won us over! The service was very friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. We were particularly impressed by the focaccia: still warm, freshly baked, and simply delicious. A real treat! The value for money is also excellent – ​​really fair for the location and quality. The outdoor area is also very nice and invites you to linger – perfect for a relaxing break in the heart of Monterosso. A clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates good taste and a warm atmosphere!

15/07/2025: Ottima trattoria con pasta fresca fatta in casa super, servizio cortese e location suggestiva. Con più di un piatto a testa e vino a volontà abbiamo speso sui 35€ cad, quindi prezzo onesto. Consigliato.

14/07/2025: We ate spaghetti with fish here until the next day. The sauce was so sour, probably because they didn't even add a little sugar to take the acidity out. The service is non-existent, they're crowded for the summer, and the atmosphere is quite comfortable. They should pay more attention to the customer and the food they make. However, I understand that there isn't a single Italian in the kitchen.

17/06/2025: We ordered a fruit cake to celebrate a birthday. Simply delicious, delicate custard, organic fruit and a shortcrust pastry that melted in your mouth. Attention to every detail. Compliments from all the guests. Keep up the good work

07/06/2025: A very nice and friendly café. The products are made with love, heart, and joy and are a delight. The fact that it's a self-service café isn't a problem, as you can even carry your order yourself. We will definitely visit this café again on our next vacation. We're already looking forward to it!
