17/07/2025: Found it while strolling through the beautiful center. What can I say? Excellent pesto and handmade trofie, excellent Fassona beef. Beautiful atmosphere, service, and the owner's helpfulness and friendliness! Message to those who, like him, research and pay attention to detail and quality: persist and persevere. Those who have an eye see and appreciate!! 🤗😉

30/06/2025: Il locale, pur informale, è molto ben organizzato e curato, il personale gentile e professionale e, soprattutto, materie prime di alta qualità perfettamente preparate con cucina a vista. Adottano una formula con diversi menù, tutti rigorosamente a base di carne, vino DOCG del Chianti, dolce, caffè, digestivo, pane (veramente buono), apripasto (sempre diverso) e coperto inclusi (anche l'acqua, ma con la carne...!). I prezzi sono equilibrati, impossibile uscire non soddisfatti. P.S. Sembra incredibile ma hanno anche, su prenotazione, il menù vegetariano ;-))) Se avete dubbi guardate le foto per farvi un'idea.

30/06/2025: Menù, vino e cibo deliziosi, per chi piace la carne, con una occasione vegetariana, ma l'ambiente è insostenibile, basta una tavolata di maleducati tamarri per non riuscire a sentire chi ti sta di fronte con cui sei, un vero peccato che ha rovinato tutto

19/07/2025: Personale del ristorante/bar antipatico e stressato! Poca scelta nei gelati! Per tutta la settimana il Calippo era solamente disponibile al gusto Coca-Cola! Hanno servito la crema caffè per portare in spiaggia in bicchieri di plastica troppo pieni, colava crema caffè da tutte le parti! Spiaggia stessa pulita, ma visto che aveva fatto temporali e il mare continuava a portare materiale di legno e legnetti, alghe e altre immondizie. Ma nessuno provvede a pulire. Ho fatto il bagno in mare 1 volta in 1 settimana! Inoltre ci hanno affittato l’ombrellone con i 2 lettini dicendo che eravamo in TERZA fila. Peccato che l’ombrellone che ci hanno assegnato era l’ultimo sulla fila destra (numero 50), e oltre la prima fila, ci hanno piazzato altri 3 ombrelloni davanti, quindi eravamo in SESTA fila,non in TERZA come le file centrali deli bagni Santo Stefano!

24/06/2025: Personale cordiale e molto disponibile, struttura accogliente e cucina spettacolare, adatto a famiglie e anche a persone con difficoltà di movimento, spiaggia pulita e ambiente sicuro, per chi vuole davvero rilassarsi lontano dal caos

23/12/2024: So apart from the pizza, it's not bad, the rest was rejected, from the beer served in the glass of water only 33cl paid as an average, to the old and unkept environment, not to mention the fairly high bill.

02/11/2024: I went to this pub restaurant with my girlfriend last night. We didn't have a good time. Too long waits. We didn't like dinner. We tried several dishes but no cooking. Good pizza. My girlfriend even got angry with me. Once upon a time we ate better. I am sorry . It also became expensive.

08/07/2025: I'm sorry, but I agree with others who have gone before me. There's no comparison to the products from the previous management, both in terms of variety and quality. I specifically chose the same type of pasta and was unfortunately very disappointed.

06/07/2025: Unfortunately, the change of management has brought a different taste and quality, I would say a lower and more banal quality, like in any bar. The prices are however unjustifiably high. Our advice is to contact the old owners to learn how to replicate what had by now become a small, but sweet tradition.

20/07/2025: I was at this bar one morning with some friends. We had breakfast, and the food was plentiful. When I asked for a bottle of water, after calling the lady, she walked away, telling me I was exaggerating with my request and our orders. I was very annoyed by the rude response from the lady who works here. I'm pissed off.

10/06/2025: Beautiful restaurant with incredibly delicious food! The view was breathtaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The service was wonderful, and we had a wonderful evening! Thank you so much :)

10/04/2025: Cozy and beautiful environment. Good food although a little smaller for the price. But really satisfying. Trust the innkeeper for the grappa: exceptional selection!!!

23/07/2025: I called the restaurant today, July 23rd, to check if it was open, and double-checked the number (Facebook and Google). The manager said yes. I went to the entrance. "They told me it's closed." This restaurant is difficult to access on foot. Thank you for the unnecessary waste of time and the hassle of getting back. I do not recommend it.

13/07/2025: Six of us went in, one of us hadn't consumed anything and they kicked us out. I won't add anything else. If they close tomorrow, I'm happy.

10/06/2025: It's not the first time I've been to Ambrosia, but this time it's already the second time it's disappointed me. I ordered two sgabei to take away and as soon as I took them they were cold as if they had been there for an hour or at least not made at the moment. It's not for anything else, but paying and finding cold sgabei didn't go down well with me. Once they were much better now they were rubbery and difficult to chew on top of being cold. I didn't like it at all.

18/07/2025: Good ingredients, but the cuisine is overly flavorful, with preparations slightly unbalanced in terms of flavor perception, but it could also be a matter of personal taste... the staff isn't very empathetic or responsive to requests for additional condiments, bread, and water, even though the wait staff is insufficient for the number of tables. Almost all wines are from a winery in Spotorno (an excellent Sancio winery), but the service by the glass is absolutely inadequate, with wine served at the wrong temperature and a sparkling rosé, Mezu Mezu, becoming a still wine. Average-high prices, in line with the highly touristy area.

11/07/2025: Horrible. It's very difficult for me to write a comment, especially a nasty one... 80 euros down the drain. It's a problem with tourist spots: local restaurants can produce and sell inedible food because they know more tourists will arrive tomorrow... I'm amazed they still have a 4.0 rating. I'm writing for you, the reader - choose another place! Avoid!
