15/12/2024: Arrivati per caso eravamo in cerca di un ristorante sotto la pioggia ed un cliente che entrava ci ha incoraggiato a provare. Un ambiente simpatico ed informale, ma subito, parlando con il proprietario sommelier blasonato si è capito che c'era sostanza seria. I piatti molto buoni e gli ingredienti frutto di lavorazioni casalinghe. Faccio solo un esempio che dovrebbe bastare, una misticanza con acciughe sotto sale marinate con olio nel quale ha macerato il loro tartufo (non essenza chimica!) e spolverate con lamelle di tartufo nero. Io ho avuto l'impressione da una serie di indizi che anni fa c'erano stati riflettori che ora si sono affievoliti, ma la vita spesso mette di fronte a delle sorprese che se prese bene diventano un'infinita occasione di mutazione ed è quello che auguro al simpatico proprietario di non smettere mai di cambiare la muta della sua farfalla. 26/11/2024: Meraviglioso !!! La cucina è semplice ma non banale, gli ingredienti di altissima qualità (e si sente) oltre che cucinati divinamente. Siamo stati davvero benissimo, anche grazie al servizio rapido e cortese. La location inoltre favolosa e perfetta per una gita di mezza giornata partendo da Roma. Torneremo presto !

30/11/2024: Siamo tornati in questo posto delizioso per la seconda volta con amici dopo esservi stati per un compleanno in famiglia. Si conferma all’atezza delle aspettative non soltanto per la qualità dei prodotti offerti ma anche per l’atmosfera accogliente e leggera ma allo stesso tempo attenta e premurosa. Ulteriore valore aggiunto per noi è il profilo pet-friendly del locale che ci consente di sentirci davvero ‘a casa’. . Torneremo ancora e ancora…

25/10/2024: Locale rustico, ma molto carino. Ampi spazi esterni. Carne davvero buona, servizio cortese e rapido. Prezzi leggermente sopra la media. Bello per un pranzo in famiglia.

25/12/2024: We went for lunch on Christmas Day. The menu had therefore been prepared for that occasion. So, elegant and refined environment, courteous, competent and truly passionate staff about the work they do. The menu prepared for Christmas Day was of rare refinement, from the welcome cocktail to the sweets made by them, through to the various delicacies that made up the menu. Personally, due to the work I have done in the past, I believe I have a good knowledge, at an international level, of what a gala lunch should be like having taken part in the work at the European Commission and in all the capitals of the European Union. I must say that the overall management of the lunch and the dishes prepared would not have disfigured at all, on the contrary, if compared with the numerous official lunches in which I took part. Truly many congratulations and best wishes for prosperity. Obviously going back is certainly a must given the extraordinary experience. Portuguese Tiberius

13/01/2025: It was me and my partner on Sunday 12 January, by pure chance, we were hungry and went in. An excellent welcome, then the chef offers us appetizers with various tastes, It was all a triumph of delicious and interesting flavours. Various courses of chickpeas with porcini mushrooms, various cheeses and many other good things. The top was the polenta with cream of broccoli, bacon and pecorino. Amazing. We then had two excellent desserts. Truly a nice discovery. We will be back to eat the first courses. Really friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

28/12/2024: Tante cose, tutte buone. Saporite e non salate. Deliziosi gli svariati antipasti. Primi di qualità: porzioni generose e ben preparate. Locale accogliente. Lo chef Nunzio dice la sua e si destreggia bene senza esagerare con i condimenti. Buoni anche i dolci e il caffé. Servizio veloce, preciso e con i giusti tempi. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Merita un ritorno.

16/12/2024: Dining in this restaurant was a truly pleasant experience, perfect for celebrating a very important occasion for us. Excellent traditional cuisine in a refined and welcoming environment. The appetizer from the countryside was very good, the platter was of high quality, the paccheri with artichokes, pecorino and bacon and the orange tiramisu were highly appreciated by all. All the staff perfect. Fabrizio is attentive and helpful and, not to be taken for granted, also friendly.

07/01/2025: Very small but warm and welcoming place with exposed embers, attentive and helpful staff. You can choose between a land and sea menu, we opted for meat. All the tastings included in the starter were good. Good quality steak and cuts cooked to perfection on the grill. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

13/10/2024: My wife and I entrusted the organization of our wedding to this structure. Giorgia and Gloria followed us step by step throughout the preparation with patience, availability and professionalism. A thunderous applause to all the dining room staff: every waiter and all the kitchen staff proved to be competent, attentive, professional and discreet in their service. Note of merit to the maitre Emiliano who accompanied us throughout the day, putting himself, in fact, at our service and giving us precious information. Amazing food. Everyone did their part to make our day perfect and wonderful. It wouldn't be right to influence the review for this but I'll add a side note for the only flaw: terrible experience with the florist of the location. For floral arrangements, look elsewhere. For everything else, the Vecchio Borgo is the location you are looking for for your special day. Highly recommended!
