20/09/2025: It's located a short distance from the Abbey of San Nilo. The place isn't very large, but there are no architectural barriers. The service is truly efficient, and the food, all homemade, is truly top-notch! There's only one bathroom, which is very clean, large enough, and wheelchair-accessible. The staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommended, but make sure to book because they're really good.

30/11/2025: An excellent experience from start to finish. Returning to Borgo del Cacchione is always a rewarding experience, but this time—there were seven of us—it was even more surprising. The welcome was warm and professional, accompanied by a simple but delicious plate of potatoes and pecorino cheese, perfect for the start. We began the dinner with their mixed raw fish, which was truly extraordinary: impeccable freshness, clean flavors, and balanced pairings. A dish worth the visit alone. For main courses, we chose tagliata and amatriciana: tender meat, cooked to perfection, generous and well-prepared side dishes, and a rich, flavorful, flawless pasta. All accompanied by two carefully selected glasses of wine and a water service that was always present but never intrusive. The service, as always, was impeccable: attentive, quick, kind, with that professionalism that makes you feel cared for without being disturbed. The location remains one of its strong points: immersed in the greenery of the Castelli Romani, well-kept, quiet, ideal for both groups and couples. Full rating: 5 out of 5. Excellent cuisine, a wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional service. One of the best dining experiences in the area. We'll definitely be back.

07/12/2025: You can't miss this typical restaurant in Grottaferrata at least once. Despite having expanded from the original restaurant (hence the name), it has maintained the characteristic and quality of its locally sourced food over time. Alessandro, his sister, and all the other staff at this restaurant are professional and friendly. Their mixed antipasto is highly recommended. You'll have the opportunity to taste various dishes, including, but not limited to, tripe, beans with pork rind, prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella, fresh ricotta with truffle, and more. If you don't like some of the appetizers, no problem; they'll bring you something else based on availability. Fabulous first courses, homemade pasta with a variety of sauces. Various meat-based second courses, grilled and otherwise. A selection of reasonably priced wines. Desserts, always locally sourced or homemade, are excellent. We'll definitely return. 15/10/2025: It was the perfect choice for my wedding. The location is truly meticulously maintained and immersed in greenery. It's an ancient farmhouse atop a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, complemented by a terrace with a panoramic view. We were given the choice between two lawn areas for the outdoor ceremony: one very spacious (and also panoramic) and the other more private and intimate (we chose the latter). The subsequent reception was on the terrace overlooking Rome, accompanied by a truly evocative sunset. The food was excellent and plentiful, as were the house wines produced by the farmhouse itself. Our guests complimented the deliciousness of the menu and were completely satisfied. Furthermore, we were given a room with a kitchen and private bathroom for the bride's preparations and for the night following the reception. I would like to thank the owners, Chiara and Grazia, who were so kind and fulfilled our every wish, especially regarding the candy table. It was truly a fairytale day, definitely far beyond our expectations! Thank you so much for making our dream come true!

11/09/2025: Last night we went for the first time for a friend's birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff gave us great advice and was always kind and punctual. The dishes were delicious. The four of us spent €360, but for everything we ate and drank, it was definitely a fair price. We'll definitely be back! 🫶🏻

09/11/2025: I visited this ice cream shop on a Sunday afternoon. There were only four available because they were all sold out, even the yogurt. We made do with the remaining flavors, but the cone was ridiculous: €3 for ice cream and the quantity was really small, and the flavor wasn't great either. As if that weren't enough, when we got up to leave, one of the owners arrogantly told us to put away a chair that had been left a bit far from the table. I politely went back and did so, but it was definitely the last time I'll set foot in there. Good luck with the new opening... but first you should learn how to manage the store you already own.

04/12/2025: Nice place and friendly staff. Excellent food quality. The only flaw is the glass-enclosed outdoor patio, which isn't well-heated, especially considering the glass wall overlooking the garden didn't guarantee good thermal insulation... an aspect that could be improved, but it doesn't detract from the quality of the place.

01/12/2025: Long review and I apologize. The villa is beautiful, very well-kept with ample parking. The indoor dining room isn't very nice, but the outdoor space with a glass wall is beautiful and well-kept. I had already been there with my sister and mother; we ate in the garden and were very well received. I'm vegetarian and found several options, thanks in part to the care and attention of the waiter. So I wanted to come back, bringing my boyfriend, to let him try something, since this year we have to organize the big family reunion for about 60 adults and a dozen teenagers and children, a challenge and a feat for whoever has to do it. 🤣😅 I told him, "Come on, they have plenty of space. I've eaten there and we'll find something for ourselves too." (He and I are vegetarians, in a family of omnivores.) Okay, I went on and on. The menu included two first courses; the waiter didn't offer us anything except the charcuterie and cheese platter. "I'll make you take the charcuterie off." I would have left, but my boyfriend was embarrassed. We ordered the two starters. The same indifferent reaction at the cashier. We paid around 40 or 43 euros for a glass of exceptional red wine, a bottle of water, a portion of chickpea gnocchi, I think, and a portion of chickpea and chestnut pasta soup. Very disappointed.

24/11/2025: I must say that we had a wonderful meal, everything was perfect, but a special thanks goes to our great waiter, Dino, who served us spectacularly, truly making us want to return. I recommend it to everyone.

15/11/2025: A typical trattoria in the Castelli Romani villages. Excellent food, beautifully presented in picturesque yet romantic dishes. For starters, we had artichoke salad, puntarelle with anchovies, and grilled pecorino romano. The only thing I'd point out to the garnishers is to use fewer arugula and lettuce leaves; in my opinion, they hide the dishes a bit too much, which are already very tasty. For starters, we enjoyed pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts, pumpkin tortelli with butter and sage, and for the main course, grilled lamb. For dessert, we had berries with orange ice cream and coffee tiramisu. Everything was truly high-quality and a taste of times gone by. The staff was courteous and helpful. They gave us a table near the fireplace, a lovely location that made the evening even more welcoming and with a magical atmosphere. Highly recommended, we'll be back!!! P.S. The prices are a bit high.

05/12/2025: We had dinner here the day before our trip to this city for a wedding. My boyfriend and I ordered fried squid, roasted vegetables, and two pasta dishes. We were almost full after the appetizers – the portions were huge and the food was incredibly fresh! The staff also provided complimentary focaccia and appetizer soup, both of which were delicious! The pasta was also excellent, but we were too full. We told the staff we usually order dessert, but we were too full today, so we decided to skip it. He was incredibly hospitable and brought us a small plate of dessert from the kitchen! Wow, such hospitality! My boyfriend and I both agreed that our dining experience here was one of the best we've had in Italy. It was very personal; they didn't treat us like tourists. I highly recommend dining here, and we'll definitely come back if we have the chance!

05/12/2025: Great value for money. For two, we ate 400 grams of fried calamari, mixed vegetables, spaghetti with lobster, and spaghetti with clams for €100. Fresh fish, spaghetti al dente. Everything was perfect. But the special thing was the service. They treated us very well and offered so many things. My girlfriend isn't Italian, and in my opinion, these kinds of experiences are the things that bring honor to Italy.

09/11/2025: After a hard day at work, I spent a pleasant evening in a new place. Excellent food, excellent wine. A wonderful feeling. We'll be back soon.
