09/02/2025: This is one of those places where one should go when one gets that craving for a great sandwich. Wide selection of sandwiches, all delicious and made with very good raw materials. Then add the professionalism and friendliness of the young lady who served us and the evening becomes very pleasant! Congratulations to all.

01/02/2025: Good experience. It's the second time I've come. The starters were good, in my opinion too little salty, the extra punch was missing! The sandwiches are large and the chips are also a lot, I didn't expect that. Those are good too. Nice environment, unfortunately we were cold all evening and it wasn't pleasant. Very kind and smiling waitress, well-deserved tip!

23/02/2025: Mortifying experience: I won't comment on the quality of the food, because I couldn't be objective having had a bad lunch. Being a lady with excellent education, I believe it is unforgivable that just complaints are responded to with the arrogance of someone who is at fault and does not admit it. Delays due to the disproportion between the dining room and the kitchen; orders taken roughly; the provocative attitude in responding to every legitimate request (for example having pasta without cheese due to an intolerance); the total lack of courtesy in justifying any problems that occurred during service (not even having a basket of bread on the table during an hour or more of waiting); no explanation of the menu and consequent misunderstandings: all of this would also be forgivable, if one apologised. However, "Ille nihil doubted qui nullam scientiam habet." When four customers complain about a poor service, you don't respond by saying, and I quote the exact words: "what job do you do? We're working here, you're sure you're a municipal employee" Such treatment does not honor our Roman spirit, which historically is synonymous with hospitality and joviality. Being violently and threateningly pushed out of the club - after having duly paid the bill - was the last act of a low-class neorealist comedy of which I would never have wanted to be a spectator, much less an actress. Making a guest feel humiliated is a failure, and you should at least acknowledge this.

23/02/2025: Very bad experience. We had booked at 1.30pm and arrived ten minutes late due to parking, for which we promptly apologised. We waited half an hour for the waiter to arrive, who was immediately less than attentive and visibly annoyed by our existence, despite our extreme friendliness. The menu had not been brought to us, but luckily we had obtained it ourselves from the website. We order the wine and the first courses. After half an hour we remind the waiter about the wine, which he had completely forgotten about, and which he finally brings us. We had also asked for bread, which was also forgotten. Furthermore, we had asked if there were any fried foods and were told that there was nothing left, when in reality it would have been possible to order fried artichokes. At 3.10pm we were still waiting for our 4 pasta dishes, an hour and a half after our arrival. I understand very well that on Sunday it can be complicated to cope with the number of seats, but having only one waiter, who moreover seemed completely inadequate to the role, or perhaps simply too tired, for the entire veranda, is perhaps too few. At our slightest complaint about the enormous delay, we were told in a curt and rude manner that there are times (for four plates of pasta?), and that if we wanted we could also leave. We ask for the wine basket, which does not arrive. We ask for it, and it finally arrives, roughly slammed on the table. Finally, after another wait (we had already finished the wine), the dishes arrive. A diner had specifically asked for a dish without pecorino, which arrived sprinkled with pecorino. Tortellini nothing special. Salted carbonara. Obviously we don't take anything else. We go to pay, and we are threatened by the staff, who does not accept our criticisms. Even if the food had been good, and this wasn't the case, we would still have been disappointed. Here we are evidently used to having many customers due to the advantageous position of the place, without the slightest regard for the customer. The best part of the meal was leaving. Or perhaps the wine we had chosen.

19/12/2024: THE LAST SUPPER We start from the assumption that this is the second time we have come to dinner in this place, but given the circumstances reported below, it will be the last time. We came as a group to spend an alternative evening, nothing to say about the atmosphere and the location but the staff leaves something to be desired, more precisely the lady at the cash register. Let me start by saying that we also work for the public, and we know how to behave with customers. At both dinners, at the time of payment, the cashier explicitly prohibited the use of the POS for three transactions. I want to remind you that if the customer does not have the liquid availability you must necessarily allow the payment, unfortunately my friend was foolish to meet her and pay everything out of her own pocket. It's a shame. If you don't intend to make POS payments, I recommend hanging a "cash only" sign. And next time don't tell me "It's my job". We also work in the same environment and we don't behave like that. I feel sorry for the staff because some are very kind. Good evening Greetings

19/12/2024: Good evening I must say that the experience was not the best, given that at the time of payment those who were on the cashier took the nose when we asked to make three payments with the POS, since we had no cash .... I would just like to remind you that it is something that can be done legally... we didn't ask for the moon!!!

I believe the place is family run, so friendly and attentive service. Definitely a point of reference for the area.

10/02/2025: I'm sorry...but they praised this place so much and honestly it's nothing special....maybe the pappardelle would have been better.....but asking for spaghetti and bringing it so overcooked that it broke while I was picking it up is shocking...not to mention the fact that we arrived at 12.20pm, and left at 2.30pm because the dishes didn't arrive....I honestly don't recommend it

15/02/2025: Small historic restaurant, typical Sardinian, located in Genzano di Roma, where hospitality is the first strong point to highlight. Multiple proposals of the excellent Sardinian tradition on the menu, both land and sea, which fully confirm, to the most demanding palates, the mastery of the chef. The quality of the raw materials used is excellent. Very fresh fish, exposed to view. Excellent meat, try the baked suckling pig, a Sardinian specialty. Proposal of succulent desserts, including seadas, typical Sardinian sweets, ricotta cake with myrtle jam and also other classic Italian specialities. To finish the elixir, Messer Mirto! Feeling pampered, breathing in the air of tradition and satisfying the palate are the three necessary elements that each guest would like to find when entering a restaurant: "At the Locanda del Sardo you are exactly in the right place!" Super Super recommended! Very honest prices!

15/02/2025: Siamo tornati alla Locanda del Sardo a Genzano e con la soddisfazione di sempre possiamo confermare la sublime esperienza gustativa vissuta a pranzo oggi... Inizio con elogiare lo spirito di accoglienza mostrato dai proprietari, sempre sorridenti e disposti a soddisfare le richieste di ciascun ospite. Piatti eccellenti, preparati dal grande chef, con tanta passione.. I prodotti primari freschi e genuini sono senz'altro uno dei tanti motivi di successo di questo ristorante:competenza dello chef e bontà delle materie prime creano il connubio vincente per asserire che questo ristorante rappresenta il fiore all'occhiello della cucina italiana. Sono pochi i luoghi del cuore dove si respira aria di tradizione, di buono, si genuino.. Questo è uno di quelli! Grazie per la vostra maestria e simpatia! Consiglio a tutti questo ristorante!
