19/07/2024: find a restaurant in Gaeta and surrounding areas where you can eat for 20 euros, and drink too... in Sperlonga they charged me 40 euros for 2 seafood appetizers... here for 40 euros you get bruschetta and olives offered by the house, a bottle of wine, one of water, 2 first and 2 second courses of fish or meat and coffee... the environment may not be the best, but in the end you will see us eating and the company is what counts... humble staff and above all polite... for me he deserves it... he certainly isn't for stilettos...

18/06/2024: Visiting from Hawaii, we are so glad we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant! Cozy restaurant. Quality food, great selection of wine, and all organic! We greatly appreciated the hospitality and enjoyed talking with the owner and his daughter - making for a special one-of-kind experience!

27/08/2024: Ti trovi a Gaeta, tanti locali uno attaccato all’altro, optiamo per questo, a parte che faceva un caldo assurdo e mi chiedo come nel 2024 ancora non si adeguano a mettere dei condizionati e non dei miseri ventilatori, accoglienza misera, come a dire c’è quel tavolo libero mettetevi lì!!
Confusione molta tra il personale dove erano confusi nonostante il locale non era pieno, noi abbiamo preso due pizze, prezzi che sono accessibili, le pizze erano buone, il servizio meno, in ogni caso il locale avrà anche una cinquantina di anni, però bisogna stare a spasso nei tempi
24/08/2024: Let's start with the glass glasses, dirty with lipstick, I asked to change them and they gave me the dirty ones back. We ordered spaghetti with mussels, the mussels themselves were good but the spaghetti were full of oil, it was spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli pepper with the mussels placed on top. Paccheri with cod and olives: 10 paccheri counted, cooked very aldente and 3 olives inside.
Horrible don't go there

La tiella eccezionale tanto da farci fare il bis i paccheri con il polpo un sughetto meraviglioso e uno spaghetto con vongole una vera crema … che dire io ve lo consiglio!!

24/08/2024: Da Narì mangi il pesce cucinato veramente a modo (la manina dello chef é veramente buona) e la proposta è molto più ricca che altrove: zuppa di ceci e seppie buonissima, polpette di alici al sugo favolose, calamaro ripieno che cercherò di replicare per il ripieno morbido e gustoso e la tiella con la sfoglia così sottile...mmhh

17/11/2024: Went there for two drinks on a Sunday morning in November and the service was excellent, there were nuts and chips with the drinks - in large quantities - and it was nice to sit in the sun! Everything was great, I didn't eat anything, but the menu sounds delicious and inexpensive. Recommendation on Gaeta beach
10/09/2024: Free beach but you can rent an umbrella (9€) and sunbed (7€).
The bar doesn't have much to eat but if you're not pretentious you can grab a sandwich and go.
Nice cold beers and drinks on tap, prices are low.
The problem is that the staff are really very bad, grumpy and don't smile, they make you feel bad about being a customer and asking for anything.

25/08/2024: Tutto molto buono tranne l’interminabile attesa per i piatti. Noi abbiamo ordinato alle 21:10 e i primi piatti sono arrivati alle 22:30!
23/08/2024: Ci siano stati due volte in una settimana. Non è una coincidenza. Si mangia bene (ottimi spaghetti e paccheri), personale cortese e, soprattutto, buon rapporto qualità / prezzo.

22/04/2024: It's not the first time I've spent a few hours in this activity. The large and very sunny room offers a breathtaking view of the blue sky/sea and the colorful boats moored a few steps from the restaurant windows. The Easter day spent with my Liam was effervescent and with the surprise of a beautiful chocolate egg for every table. Dishes always served with great care and well presented. Staff always very present and professional. And finally a bill that is very affordable for everyone due to the location and the quality served.
Definitely worth visiting
I recommend booking if you want to be on the safe side.

Prezzo 16 euro , vi prego mettete un po’ più di gamberetti e state e attenti al sale

I really don't understand how anyone can give a negative review to this place and their tielle.
We stopped out of curiosity to try this local specialty and I must say that we would have eaten the whole counter! We tasted the tiella with escarole and olives and the one with onion. Both highly recommended, a real delight! Come here and you won't be disappointed!!!

Peccato, avevo aspettative alte da ricordi passati, invece ho notato un crollo a picco.

23/08/2024: La Pescheria offers a basic, modest menu. Fried or grilled calamari and prawns, mussel peppered sauce, spaghetti with clams... seen and reviewed. But the customer must not dwell on that but look up at the sign that promises the fish counter. The bench is there and it is top quality and here we move from the Amateur series to playing in the Champions League. We caught a sea bream (weighed and declared price) which was simply superb. Yes it was "only" grilled, but what a flavour, when the raw material is excellent. In short, if you sit at the Fisherman's table, ignore the menu and decide to get serious.
21/08/2024: Don't go here!! Terrible service, we had to wait thirty minutes to even order due to poor organization. Had to wave like crazy to get their attention, and when they did come they didn't apologize or be nice either. I wanted clam spaghetti, he asked if I liked black clams, I said yes. What I got was "spaghetti with clams", i.e. white clams. Obviously a ploy to trick English speaking customers into paying more as the spaghetti with clams was €4 more expensive. We also ordered mixed seafood, but the only thing that came in was fish. We weren't even allowed to order wine because they thought water was enough.
Once the food arrived it was okay, but certainly not worth the price. You can order the same thing for half the price at other restaurants in the area. Tourist trap deluxe.
Service tax included in the price, €2 per person. Unnecessary when the service didn't even exist. Worst dinner in Gaeta, shame they seem to be good with customers. Hope the place goes out of business.
