22/07/2025: Il locale si presenta bene e l’atmosfera è gradevole, complice un personale davvero cordiale ed accogliente. Sin dall’ingresso ci si sente benvoluti, con un servizio attento e sorridente che fa piacere trovare.
Purtroppo, però, l’esperienza culinaria non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. I piatti serviti sono risultati deludenti: la qualità del pesce non sembrava fresca, sapori spenti e consistenze poco convincenti.
Per questo motivo, faccio fatica a consigliarlo con convinzione.

La cocina italiana aquí es excepcional. Particularmente memorable fue la pasta alle vongole: una pasta perfectamente al dente rica con almejas, gambas y mejillones.

08/03/2026: We went to this restaurant today, recommended by friends, and we were pleasantly surprised: the wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the seating we were given (reservation required) was perfect. We ordered two starters: Pasta with potatoes, provola cheese, and mussels, which was truly delicious and well-prepared. The portions were well-proportioned, and the ingredients blended perfectly. The spaghetti with clams, lemon, and calamari were truly delicious, with just the right amount of citrus, so as not to be overpowering but still bring out the citrus flavor. For our main course, we were served a very fresh sea bass, deboned by them, accompanied by truly excellent baked potatoes. To finish, we ordered their house dessert, made with amaretti biscuits, and a caprese salad. The owner was very kind and offered us coffee and liqueurs.

11/01/2026: I'm a regular at Ristorante Mediterraneo in Gaeta, and each time it confirms its excellence: delicious dishes and top-quality fresh ingredients, especially fish and Mediterranean specialties. It's undoubtedly the best restaurant in town, and I recommend it to everyone! The location is also charming, overlooking the sea with breathtaking views of the harbor and the promenade, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal. It's easily accessible by car thanks to nearby street and dedicated parking. I recommend trying the lemon linguine; it's truly delicious!

23/09/2025: We paid €50 for two loungers in the back row and the experience was very disappointing. The beach was littered with cigarette butts in the sand, there was a paid shower, and the staff's attention was rather poor, with no interest in the customer. The only positive aspect was the sea, which was naturally beautiful, but the facility didn't offer a service worthy of the asking price.

13/01/2026: An institution for us now! Every time you go to Gaeta, a stop for tiella is a must! You sit down, eat a delicious tiella overlooking the sea, drink a beer, and chat with friends... And since we're talking about a no-frills dish, we're only looking for quality, and this is where we find it. If you want gourmet restaurants that will shove 50 grams of frozen food at your fingertips and charge you a salary for it, go elsewhere. Here, only quality, simplicity, and love and dedication are the order of the day. But behind the simple things, there's often a lot of work, and here you can see it in what you eat!
30/12/2025: Excellent tiella, eaten on the spot, excellent ingredients and a wide selection, worth repeating.

12/09/2025: Excellent gelato, natural ingredients, real fruit, all good, highly recommended. But a place like this should take better care of its outdoor seating, which—at least when I tried to use it—was in such a state of disarray, unclean, and littered even in the nearby garden, that it discouraged use (we settled on the nearby public benches). It's a shame, but it's easy to fix, all it takes is a little attention and effort.

21/09/2025: Today, September 21, 2025, around 1:30 PM, I went with my family to Piana di Sant'Agostino for a pleasant day, deciding to stop at the Miramare restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be disappointing even before we sat down to eat.
At the entrance, we were greeted by a rude and unprofessional staff member. When we refused to answer the question, "Have you ordered?", we were abruptly told that we couldn't enter without a reservation. This was despite the restaurant being practically empty: in a fairly large room, only 4 or 5 tables were occupied.
I completely understand the need for a reservation when it's crowded, but what was unacceptable was the tone used, the total lack of courtesy, and the confusion in the way the information was communicated to us. The overall impression was one of a hasty, disorganized welcome, and with no regard for the customer.
I don't question the quality of the cuisine, which I haven't had the chance to try, but if this is the first impression you get when you enter the restaurant, it's natural to choose elsewhere, as we did.
A restaurant should welcome you with a smile even before the food. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.

15/09/2025: We stayed at this beach for a weekend. I would say that the bathrooms are very small, but the establishment allows both lunch and dinner by reservation. We haven't tried it yet. We stayed on the beach, the sea is exceptional, and they offer beach service with umbrellas and loungers... basically, tranquility and relaxation. We had the standard breakfast... The rest will be evaluated later.

06/07/2025: Mi dispiace malgrado l educazione ricevuta dai dipendenti,ma il ritardo di un primo un ore e mezza non si può sentire, né tantomeno tenere un cliente inchiodato dalle ore 21,30 alle 23,15 senza ricevere nulla.Io credo che strafare mettere tavoli ovunque pure dí riempire e portare solo una bottiglia di vino al tavolo per poi prendere una comanda dopo mezz’ora e servire dopo un altra ora significa assicurarsi già pagato il vino poi se il cliente si lamenta e vuole andare via ti deve almeno pagare la bottigli caricate il triplo .Disorganizzati un caos se avessi voluto cenare con seconda portata e dolce andavo via alle 2.Capisco che vuoi guadagnare perché c’è turismo ma il disservizio non ti premia.
