The pizzeria at the port is the place where you can eat the best tiella in Gaeta. With their wide selection of flavors, they're sure to please every palate. Simple, excellent!

A firm favourite for years. You can't go to old Gaeta and not stop by Carlo's for a slice of "tiella." Besides the classic and more famous one with baby octopus, I recommend the one with swordfish... a real treat.

Highly renowned and highly recommended in recent years, they've always made excellent tiella. When I'm in Gaeta, I always stop by Pizzeria del Porto to eat (or pick up) their wonderful tiella. My favorites are with escarole and cod, but there's truly so much to choose from.

We were there on Sunday for the Christmas lights, and after some online research, I decided to go to "Pizzeria del Porto" to try the Tiella. What can I say? It was a perfect choice! My wife and I tried two tiellas: "escarole and cod" and "calamari," both simply fantastic, each better than the last. Our kids had pizzas: "Margherita" and "potatoes and sausage," both delicious as well. A little gem overlooking the Gaeta harbor. Kudos to the entire staff.

01/05/2026: Very good food. The ingredients used are excellent. The pizzas are well-topped and cooked to perfection thanks to the wood-fired oven with its top-notch equipment, which allows for rapid batches and even cooking of the pizzas without burning. The fried foods are equally excellent.
29/04/2026: Excellent pizza, delicious fried food! Whenever I'm craving pizza, I get it from this takeout pizzeria. You can also eat inside or outside. In summer, you need to book well in advance, especially on weekends. Prices are reasonable, I recommend trying it!

03/05/2026: We had dinner at this pizzeria and were truly delighted. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service was impeccable: special thanks to Pietro, the waiter, who was extremely kind, attentive, and always available. The pizzas were truly excellent, well-cooked and made with quality ingredients. The rest of the menu was also excellent; everything was delicious and carefully prepared. A truly positive experience that makes us want to return soon. Highly recommended!
