Friendly service, decent food, quality/price ratio not at the same levels.

Taking advantage of a Sunday off work, on my brother's recommendation and being loyal to Dogana Golosa, we went to Ristorante Antico Vico, and believe me, what a better choice there couldn't have been. I'm grateful for the professionalism, hospitality, attention to detail, and service that the entire staff conveyed, even in the smallest details. The location is small but not stuffy, and the paintings and vaulted ceilings gave a sense of space and class. Furthermore, we'll definitely return in due course to enjoy the outdoor terrace. The simple yet meticulous presentation of the dishes provided the visual feast that the palate later appreciated. I could go on, but the best thing is to live in the moment and savor every moment. Thanks again to all the staff. N.B. 5 stars aren't enough 🤣

We dined for two without a reservation. A very charming and quaint atmosphere. Fast, very courteous, and attentive service. The dishes feature fresh, well-prepared ingredients. For us, an excellent experience.

I dined at Antico Vico and had a truly excellent experience. The service was impeccable: Angelica looked after us with great professionalism, attention, and kindness, making us feel welcomed from the first moment until the end of the dinner. Always smiling, knowledgeable, and available to recommend dishes, she made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was simply delicious: quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and dishes crafted with attention to detail. You could sense the passion both in the kitchen and in the dining room. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality gastronomic experience with attentive and warm service.

It was a very pleasant surprise. The place is welcoming and refined. Domenico served us with kindness and professionalism. We ate wonderfully. I particularly enjoyed the Dominican prawns in kataifi pastry and the tuna ingots. Truly delicious. The quality/price ratio is truly exceptional. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful time on a rainy winter evening in Gaeta, while most restaurants were closed. Angelica welcomed us warmly and professionally. We enjoyed the unusual yet fitting reggae music that accompanied our dinner, which was served very promptly. A special mention goes to the excellent tempura cod with escarole. We went to Antico Vico for my father's birthday. I'd already been there with my friends, and since it was such a pleasant discovery, I decided to return with my parents for my father's birthday. They, like me, appreciated the elegant yet delicious cuisine. A special mention goes to Angelica, patient and always smiling in accommodating our requests. She also advised us on the wine selection, perfectly understanding our tastes. I will definitely return with both my family and friends.

We dined at Antico Vico this evening and had a truly wonderful time. The ambiance is cozy and beautiful. Alessia did a fantastic job; she was very friendly and fun. We ordered fish and octopus and were absolutely delighted with the food and wine. It was simply perfect and delicious. The Parmesan was divine, and the combination of fish/octopus with zucchini cream and spinach was also incredibly tasty. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is located in an alley in the historic center, close to the marina. The interior is very characteristic, with vaulted ceilings painted with historical scenes of Gaeta. The menu and dishes are carefully prepared and tasty, of excellent quality and generous portions. Prices are appropriate for the service and quality offered.

The dishes were delicious, but the waiting times were definitely too long!
