28/04/2026: We had dinner with a couple of friends. The owner was welcoming and very friendly.
The aperitif in the cellar was lovely, with prosecco, prosciutto, and pickles (in my opinion, they should have been replenished, as there was little or nothing left).
The waitress was unprofessional; she returned the bread to our table with our own cutlery, implying that we'd eaten a lot of bread "like truck drivers." In my opinion, this was out of place.
The food was excellent, especially the tagliata and the antipasti.

The service could be improved, as it's run by young, but unprofessional, women.
Definitely recommended.
15/05/2026: Everyone was kind, explaining the dishes to us, and for three of us with gluten intolerance, they brought us bread and breadsticks on the side, as well as gluten-free pasta for those who wanted it.
The portions were generous, which is not a given.
Fresh, quality ingredients.
Fair prices for the quality of the dishes.
Recommended dishes: tartare, gnocchi, and tortelli.
Recommended.

09/05/2026: The girl who served us deserves a 10, very fast and kind, no one liked the pizza, 2 were burnt, all thin and tasteless, simple and nice place, the sore point is the gentleman at the cash register who was very slow and looked at all the prices with a magnifying glass but how can you leave a gentleman like that at the cash register, even if he is perhaps the owner but it's crazy

04/04/2026: We're definitely grill experts, so we enjoyed some excellent grilled meat. The atmosphere is rustic, the staff are friendly and helpful, the wine list is extensive, including excellent local wines, and the cuisine, with its home-style flavors, is highly appreciated. Reservations are essential as they're very popular.

02/06/2026: We held our wedding here on May 30, 2026, and I can only say that everything was truly magical, from the rich and highly appreciated buffet to the special selection of tortellini to the wonderful, super tender fillet steak!! We even cut the cake outside, and it was amazing! They also helped us with the fireworks and everything else! Thank you so much, Simone and Denise, you are fantastic!! 💖

22/05/2026: Wonderful location surrounded by greenery, just steps—no, really—from the Mincio River, with plenty of indoor seating or plenty of outdoor seating on the natural verandas.
Reservations recommended.
Restaurant + bar.
Variety of food, all excellent, from wood-fired pizzas to pasta dishes, main courses of meat and grilled chicken (my favorites), burgers, and more. Reasonable prices for the quality of the dishes and the service and courtesy of the waiters, but especially Lele and Gianni, the soul of this place, where I always love to return.
22/05/2026: A place suitable for families and lovers of walking and cycling. Direct access from the bike path that runs along the Mincio River to Peschiera. Lots of games for children of all ages! Outdoor seating only. Good value.
Highly recommended!

02/06/2026: Dinner with friends with a menu pre-arranged by the organizer. The appetizer was unique, featuring polenta, soppressa, and tomino cheese. Tortellini di Valeggio, always a sure thing, and an excellent veal fillet. Quality ingredients, fantastic atmosphere... Borghetto.
The service could perhaps be improved a little, but the food makes up for it.
Highly recommended.

05/05/2026: We happened to be passing by Valeggio and saw the sign, and after reading a few reviews, we decided to try the homemade cuisine described. The bigoli with duck ragù and nettle ravioli were excellent. The grilled and sliced meats were incredibly tender, and the kids polished them off. The staff were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

22/04/2026: We had the best Tortelli con Sedano we've had in ages for lunch today. The pasta was incredibly delicate with a flavorful filling. The lasagna, Arrosto di Vitello, and everything else were also excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, too. Five stars plus for this country-style restaurant!

11/05/2026: My girlfriend and I went for lunch at this lovely little restaurant in Borghetto sul Mincio. The first thing that struck us was the warm welcome from the staff. The tortellini were fabulous, as per their tradition, and the meat-based main courses were sublime. I recommend this experience to everyone. Carlo gives Carlo's pizza.

18/09/2025: We ordered wine and got some small appetizers. The bartender was very nice, could speak English. It was a very pleasant experience.
13/09/2025: Visited here in the late afternoon and sat at an outdoor table. They serve a variety of drinks, and if you order cocktails, they come with a complimentary light meal. Staff were good and helpful, and they can speak English.
