30/06/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Sora al Ponte during my trip to Venice, and it was truly one of the highlights of my visit. Nestled in a charming spot by a quiet canal, this local gem offers a warm, authentic atmosphere that immediately makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special. The food is absolutely delicious traditional Venetian dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. I highly recommend the sarde in saor and the homemade pasta, especially the seafood options. Everything tasted like it was made with care, just like a home-cooked meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, happy to explain the menu and recommend their favorites. You could tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, which added so much to the experience. Prices were fair for the quality and location, and the portions were generous without being over the top. It’s the kind of place that feels both relaxed and full of character perfect for a quiet lunch or a romantic dinner by the canal. If you’re looking to escape the overly touristy restaurants and enjoy real Venetian food with local charm, Sora al Ponte is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Venice!

20/06/2025: We were hungry and spontaneously found ourselves in Jesolo looking for a gluten-free pizzeria, as my daughter and my wife suffer from celiac disease. We happened to stop at this restaurant and asked if and which dishes were gluten-free. We received very warm and courteous advice, and immediately felt very welcome. The woman seemed very experienced, as she mentioned, among other things, that her son also suffers from it... which is why we felt very safe. Gluten-free pizzas (the only drawback: unfortunately, they come with a store-bought crust and not homemade) are prepared in a separate oven, which prevents contamination. At the end, we were even recommended a gluten-free shop (pastry shop) in Jesolo. Conclusion: Gluten-free food is possible. Very friendly service and delicious food 😋

The pizza in pala is simply extraordinary: light, tasty and made with a truly unique dough, the evident result of an in-depth study and a great knowledge of the raw materials. The pizza is particularly noteworthy: The dough is made with a biga starter and given plenty of time to mature – the result is a wonderfully aromatic, wholesome, and perfectly baked pizza with a unique texture. The pasta dishes and other dishes also taste authentic and are prepared with love. Here, the cooking isn't just done; it's done with passion. You immediately notice that quality, naturalness, and tradition are paramount. If you love pizza and want to experience the difference of a truly long-term dough preparation, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

29/06/2025: Excellent location, in the heart of the small Venetian nightlife. The very fresh and “local” fish, now very rare, cooked in a simple and traditional way, but perfect in the preparation. Excellent quality/price ratio I highly recommend it, for Venice a restaurant like this is rare.

25/07/2025: We wanted something quick and chose a toasted sandwich, but we never thought we'd receive such a sad dish on our plates: almost no ham, probably packaged, and very thin and small bread, all you could taste was the cheese. As if that weren't enough, while we were still chewing the last bite, a member of staff came over to take our plates away from us and clear the table, even though we still had our beer to finish. Ultimately, the prices were high for the quality and quantity, coupled with a strong desire to serve more.
