05/05/2025: We like coming here in company, the environment is informal and for the kids it means feeling good. The pizza is good and digestible and is served on a wooden cutting board so it doesn't get cold immediately. That's a big plus! The sandwiches and clubs are great too!
25/04/2025: Very relaxing place, it's like feeling at home, the food is excellent and varied and the prices are very cheap compared to most other places in the area

Zanze XVI is a contemporary restaurant in Venice's Santa Croce district, recommended by the Michelin Guide. The restaurant combines the warm atmosphere of a traditional Venetian tavern (bàcaro) with innovative modern cuisine. The clerk has a heavy English accent and it's a bit hard to understand. It doesn't matter if you don't understand as long as the food is delicious!

Try the raw catch of the day and the wonderful first courses
Young service but very attentive to details and customer satisfaction. Quality/price more balanced than the average in Venice for restaurants of the same level. Well done!

29/05/2025: Pleasant waiters, decent service, good food, but when you collect your bill, you get a message in your bill telling you that service isn't included, even though it's stated on the daily menu and the menu, and the waiter makes this clear. So I don't recommend this establishment if you're not planning on leaving a tip.

24/05/2025: Well, I guess the only good thing about this trattoria, was the view. I was unlucky to that as well as constructions were blocking my view to the canal. We had a 20€ tasteless pasta and a 28€ also tasteless beef tagliata. If you walk few meters down the canal you will find better and less expensive choices.

28/05/2025: We went there around 5 o'clock, which is ambiguous, so we were the only customers. I trusted Sung Si-kyung's pick and went there, and it was just as delicious as expected! The female staff was so kind and nice :) The pasta was delicious and the calamari was soft and delicious. The seasoning was just right and it was good, so my mom enjoyed it too.
