02/08/2025: I have no words for this experience, my daughter and her little boy went to get 5 pizzas, when they got home one pizza was completely wrong, seafood was wrong, and they told me first that the seafood is like that, but in reality it was on another pizza with tuna and shrimp surimi, and they replied that it is like that, the seafood from today, but on the menu it is a different pizza, then they told me that I can go there and they will move the surimi!! Then they told me, okay, 50 cents left, and in the end they told me they had to answer another call!!!! Why am I asking to remake the pizza? Are we out of line? You make a mistake and I have to agree? Everyone can make mistakes, but making up lies because you don't want to admit you made a mistake and leave a customer with 10 euros wasted, definitely not. Pizzerias like this are just incompetent, not admitting a mistake and responding by treating a customer like an idiot, they have no reason to exist, stay away. You owe respect to those who pay for one product and receive another. Instead of admitting your mistake, you make up stupid things and answer me rudely on the phone even though you made a mistake. And you knew you were wrong. You took the money, I didn't eat the pizza.

02/08/2025: Nightmare experience, I received the wrong pizza and I told myself it's okay, but how is it okay? If you make a mistake you have to fix it, the pizza isn't free, instead arrogance and contempt for customers, never again. Excuse me, but you feel okay with me, saying the pizza is wrong is okay? You didn't speak to me, but everyone in the house heard what you said, "This is the new seafood, if you want, come back here and I'll move the surimi." Does that seem normal to you? You should have apologized and remade the pizza instead of making excuses with that superior tone you can't have, but I think you don't understand, given what you wrote.

06/06/2025: Se state pensando di organizzare il vostro matrimonio a Calcatonega, cambiate idea finché siete in tempo! La nostra esperienza con il titolare, Alberto, è stata a dir poco disastrosa e ve la sconsiglio vivamente. Fin dall'inizio, abbiamo riscontrato una mancanza totale di trasparenza e professionalità. Ci era stato presentato un preventivo per una struttura condivisa con altre persone, un'opzione che noi non avevamo minimamente richiesto e che non era affatto in linea con l'idea del nostro giorno speciale. Quando abbiamo fatto notare questo disguido, invece di rimediare o scusarsi, Alberto ha pensato bene di aumentare il prezzo in modo spropositato, rendendo la proposta completamente inaccettabile per il nostro budget e le nostre aspettative. Il vero incubo è iniziato quando, a seguito di questo aumento ingiustificato e della proposta non richiesta, abbiamo deciso che Calcatonega non faceva più per noi. Nonostante avessimo pagato una caparra di ben 500 euro otto mesi prima dell'evento, e senza aver recato alcun danno alla struttura, Alberto si è rifiutato categoricamente di restituirci la somma. Trovo questo comportamento profondamente scorretto e inaccettabile. Si è dimostrato completamente indisponibile al dialogo e irremovibile sulla sua posizione. In sintesi, Calcatonega, sotto la gestione di Alberto, si è rivelato un luogo dove la parola data e la correttezza contrattuale sembrano optional. La gestione è approssimativa, la comunicazione inesistente e l'etica professionale decisamente carente. Se non volete ritrovarvi con un buco nel portafoglio e un sacco di stress aggiuntivo nel periodo più bello della vostra vita, state alla larga da Calcatonega. Non potrei sconsigliarlo di più per l'organizzazione di un matrimonio.

17/05/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante perché vedendo le foto online è super invitante.. poi però la pasta che ci è stata servita era totalmente cruda, immangiabile.. non penso ci ritorneremmo mai più

24/04/2025: Siamo rimasti molto contenti di questo locale. Ragazzi eccezionali, disponibili e cordiali. Siamo stati coccolati per tutto il tempo che abbiamo pranzato. Innovativi sono stati gli ordini fatti direttamente in cucina tramite il QR code, come pure il pagamento. I piatti ordinati sono usciti velocemente, seppur era pieno di gente. Grazie!!!

28/08/2025: A small room with just a few tables. Very kind waitress, good food, fixed price lunch menu. An excellent, little-known alternative. Worth a try.

30/07/2025: Un amico mi ha parlato molto bene della bistecca di Angus. Incuriosito, sono andato con mio figlio. Lui ha preso una frittura mista, onesta, e io il famoso Angus argentino. Ottimo! Cottura giustissima, e abbiamo gradito le attenzioni del titolare. Proprio appassionato. Il locale è molto semplice, dall'esterno avrebbe bisogno di qualche aggiornamento, ma una volta entrati, si accende la luce. Torneremo ad assaggiare altri piatti.

26/07/2025: A very pleasant discovery. Excellent place for an aperitif, various appetizers are brought to you (and often very good 🤤), the spritz is nice and of good quality. Very convenient quality/price. Friendly and helpful staff.

19/07/2025: We arrived at this bar by chance, it was a wonderful discovery starting from the owners, kind and exquisite people......which is no small thing these days.

06/05/2025: Today we stopped with former colleagues for lunch. I can't understand how the other reviews could give a positive rating. At the entrance there was a blackboard indicating the dishes of the day. I asked for the meatballs with vegetables, written on the blackboard but at 12.40 they were finished. There were some ready meals on the counter: I asked for one but they were booked. We ordered a specific bottle of wine but they brought an open bottle of another type of wine without asking. We were told that that was over. All poor quality pre-cooked food heated in the microwave behind the counter. Having only eaten one dish and not even finished it because it was so bad, we asked if there was any cheese to finish: they don't have the cheeses on the menu...which by the way we didn't even see because it was all listed verbally. The service, although with good will, was labored and inattentive. Orders were taken with dishes from other tables being delivered in hand. The worst thing was the quality of the dishes: transparent gnocchi from a supermarket bag, strips of very white washed chicken, cut: small steak into strips, a few slices of bread in a small bowl etc.......3 courses, 47 Euros. I'm sorry to give this opinion but that's how it is for me. Even more so given the arrogance of the owner's response....

06/05/2025: Oggi ci siamo fermati con ex colleghi per il pranzo. Posto difficile da vedere dalla strada. Non riesco a capire come le altre recensioni abbiano potuto dare una valutazione positiva. All'ingresso c'era una lavagna con l'indicazione dei piatti del giorno. Ho chiesto le polpette con verdure, scritte sulla lavagna ma alle 12.40 erano terminate. Sul banco c'erano dei piatti pronti: ne ho chiesto uno ma risultavano prenotati, da riscaldare in attesa dei clienti. Abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di vino specifica ma ne hanno portata una aperta di un altro tipo di vino senza chiedere. Ci è stato detto che quello era finito. Tutto cibo di scarsa qualità riscaldato da alcuni forni a microonde in continuo funzionamento dietro il banco. Avendo mangiato solo un piatto e neanche terminato in quanto pessimo, abbiamo chiesto se c'era del formaggio per concludere: non hanno i formaggi del menù....che tra l'altro non abbiamo neanche visto perché è stato tutto elencato a voce. Il servizio, se pur con buona volontà, era affannato e disattento. Venivano prese le comande con i piatti di altri tavoli in consegna nelle mani. La cosa peggiore è risultata la qualità delle portate: gnocchi trasparenti da busta del supermercato conditi con un sugo pallido alle verdure, straccetti di pollo slavato bianchissimo, tagliata: bistecchina a listarelle, poche fette di pane in una ciotolina ecc.......3 portate, 47 Euro. Mi spiace dare questo parere ma per me è così. A maggior ragione visto l'arroganza della risposta del proprietario....

31/07/2025: I'm sorry to share my experience at this place. Last Sunday, July 27, 2025, we arrived. I went in first, since I was with my dog, to see if it was possible to bring him in. They said yes. So we went in and sat down at the table. That's when the nightmare began. The waitress arrived with a completely unpolite attitude. "Tell me," I began, and before I could even open my mouth, she told me to shut up, even with words, telling me to wait... Then she continued with my friend, when he finished ordering, she asked if it was OK. To which he replied that I was still waiting to order, and she once again said SHE THOUGHT HE HAD ORDERED FOR ME TOO. Even though it was obvious he had ordered only for himself... At this point I replied that everyone orders for themselves.... So he continues to take my order with a disdainful attitude, but anyway I order a grilled rib eye with vegetables. He leaves, and comes over with the appetizer. In a spiteful and rude manner, she stands next to me and passes the plate over my head to my friend who was sitting in front of me, obviously at the table for two... SOMETHING ABSURD AND INCREDIBLE.... It's time to bring the main course, and what comes? THE TAGLIATA WAS A VERY SMALL PORTION WITHOUT VEGETABLES OR ANYTHING.... I called her and told her I had ordered the rib-eye steak, not the tagliata, which in fact I had said I would share with my friend since he had ordered the salad... Which I didn't say before, but she even raised the issue at the beginning, asking stupid questions about whether she was bringing it with the salad, etc. A stupid question because if two people come to dinner together, I've never seen one eat first and the other after.... we eat together. Anyway, when I told her I had ordered the tagliata and she apologized, saying it was a mistake, but that she could have it for me, but after all, I replied by telling her that she had been making mistakes ever since I came in, and I mentioned the fact that she passed the plate over my head. To which he replied that there wasn't room to put the plate in front of him, approaching from the side of the table in the normal way... (Bullshit) I was no longer well... BY NOW THE SADNESS WAS MORE THAN THE HUNGER. I NO LONGER CARE ABOUT DINNER... I AM A DOMINICAN GIRL WHO HAS BEEN LIVING IN ITALY REGULARLY FOR MANY YEARS. I WANT TO SAY SOMETHING... THESE RACIAL PREJUDICES MUST END. YOU CAN'T MALTREAT A PERSON YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW, WHO COMES WITH POLITENESS JUST BECAUSE OF HIS ORIGIN. GO BACK A LITTLE IN HISTORY... YOU NEED TO BE HUMAN. BUT IF YOU CAN'T BECAUSE EVIL IS RACISM AND IT'S STRONGER THAN YOU, THEN WHEN I ASKED IF I COULD COME IN WITH MY DOG, YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT THEY DON'T ACCEPT FOREIGNERS. 05/07/2025: Pizza in pala really exceptional, I think the sublime is the best pizza I've ever eaten. Highly recommended

09/03/2025: They took 1hour 20 mins to make 1 pizza for take away. There were only 5-6 tables full. Frankly I had similar thick crust which were delicious in Rome and somewhere in puglia where they sell per slice. This is very overpriced and doesn’t live upto the hype.

24/07/2025: A summer Saturday, with a reservation for people, asked to sit outside, they make us sit inside in a corner... And after waiting 40 minutes, the. Grilled... here it comes nice and black and charred!!!

18/07/2025: Can't you give less? Terrible service, no explanation of the dishes, I order and there's no dish. The appetizer arrives...rancid...the requested bread...old and reheated. We got up and left after the appetizer...we really didn't want to risk getting sick. We figured out why the place was empty. Too bad...I'd been there about ten years ago and it wasn't bad...but now it's just...indescribable.

17/06/2025: historic bar under the hall. spectacular cicchetti especially porchetta and ham with horseradish. wide selection of wines by the glass. excellent spritz. ideal for a quick aperitif or to spend an evening with friends. outdoor tables available

11/06/2025: The first/appetizer was not bad, the second was inedible, in fact I left the grill on the plate. Side dishes were decent. Even the coffee left a lot to be desired.

02/09/2025: Two plates of mediocre pasta, two glasses of unusually bad red wine, and two coffees for €45. The ambiance is pleasant, but the service is unambitious.

03/08/2025: High prices. The staff is a bit listless and distracted, and lacks customer service. The food is average. The pasta is overcooked, the salami sauce tastes bland, and the vegetables are cooked like they're in a hospital cafeteria. The chocolate dessert is very good, but for what we paid and what we ate, we definitely won't return.
