21/04/2025: Booked Easter Monday lunch. Fish starter: 1 large scallop (good), 2 small ones (without taste and/or flavor) plus a red prawn on a polenta base.... Paella: overly cooked rice (it looked like it was made the day before) covered with 5 scallops and 2 shellfish.... No type of fish in the rice.... Inedible! I would have left as soon as I tasted it... my wife wanted to "try" eating it but halfway through... we both gave up.... Inedible. I pointed this out to the waiter... (kind and professional), he understood... We paid the bill (I paid the price in full... They didn't include the glass of white wine and a bottle of water in the bill. It was the fourth time I went (with friends) to that restaurant... Now (and I told them), they have lost the customer including the friends....

02/03/2025: Lo segnalo negatvamente in quanto siamo andati in 8 persone, il menù presentato aveva tre pagine di pizze e una pagina tra antipasti/primi/secondi, decidiamo di ordinare le pizze, purtroppo la signora ci avvisa che le pizze non le fanno più....il pizzaiolo se ne era andato da tempo....allora scegliamo di mangiare antipasti e un primo ciascuno, niente di che, prezzi cari per niente soddisfatti.

02/08/2025: I've been frequenting Bar San Massimo for about three months, and it's become a regular fixture in my day. I go regularly for breakfast and lunch, and sometimes even after lunch for a relaxing break. Every time, I'm amazed by the quality of the food: everything is carefully crafted, from the consistently fresh ingredients to the attentive and friendly service. The brioches are truly excellent, fragrant and filled to perfection, perfect for starting the day. Lunch is also always top-notch, with tasty and well-prepared dishes, all at a truly excellent value. Plus, the staff is always welcoming and smiling: a touch of humanity that makes all the difference. I highly recommend Bar San Massimo to anyone looking for a place to feel good and enjoy a truly delicious meal.

23/07/2025: This bar behind the hospital offers breakfast with a wide selection of pastries. I'm curious to try the savory options. I highly recommend it!

21/04/2025: We went for Easter lunch. I would describe the whole thing as rather embarrassing. Our fault for not having read previous reviews and for having chosen hastily... we weren't there at all... Very poor quality of food. A lasagna that was supposed to be with rabbit ragù, but which was fatty and tasted like lard and not even the slightest trace of rabbit... it takes a lot to make an inedible lasagna with a smoked flavour... truly embarrassing. Table service almost non-existent, house wine bland and tasteless. In short, stay away... we laughed at it and it passed, but we don't understand how this place keeps going.

23/12/2024: After a misunderstanding and after my complaint due to the cold shower and the cold night, the owners finally sent me the cream that I had forgotten and a part of the refund. I have to say that I really appreciated the gesture. The place is very beautiful

10/06/2025: Mi primera experiencia gastronómica en Italia en este pequeño café encantador. Establecido como un lugar de almuerzo para los lugareños y aquellos que trabajan cerca, tiene excelente WiFi y café, etc con una sección separada de "negocios". Fuera de eso tienes espacio para un montón de personas, atiende a niños y adultos por igual. Tuve un poco de pasado y un café y los dos eran magníficos. A pesar de estar lejos de la zona turística, todos hablaban inglés y se tomaron el tiempo para ayudar con cualquier pregunta. Realmente amable y agradable experiencia. Si me alojo en el AC Padova by Marriott a la vuelta de la esquina de nuevo, sin duda me alojaré aquí para el almuerzo.

06/06/2025: Locale storico di padova. Ma: qualità penosa e prezzi troppo alti. Verdure cotte e insalata di pesce imbarazzanti. Mollicci e insapori. Pane bianco sordido. Cambiate.

13/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati a cena in questa osteria una domenica sera di fine aprile senza grandi aspettative e l’esperienza in effetti è stata piuttosto modesta. Il locale è molto grande e arredato in stile tipico, il menù è ampio (forse troppo) con possibilità di scegliere tra cucina e pizza. I piatti assaggiati si sono rivelati assolutamente basici nella presentazione e non certo indimenticabili nella sostanza e nei sapori. Servizio sufficiente anche se un po' svogliato. Conto nella media ma in rapporto alla qualità del cibo potrebbe quasi essere ritenuto un po' alto. Locale basico senza pretese che può andar bene al limite per un pasto in pausa pranzo.

05/09/2025: What a terrible experience! It was 9:45 on a summer morning. I approached the counter with my 5-year-old son, eager to eat a scoop of ice cream. We were the only ones there. The girl continued to rearrange the containers of ice cream without ever looking up. A good 7 or 8 minutes passed and she finally looked up. I politely asked if I could ask her. She looked at me, shocked and astonished, with a teasing look. I asked her what was wrong, and she exclaimed: "NO, IT'S JUST THAT ICE CREAM SEEMS WEIRD AT THIS HOUR!" I was shocked and said: "What's the problem?" She said: "Whatever!" I obviously told her: "Look, leave it alone, it's fine like this." SPEECHLESS!!! My son was shocked and wanted his ice cream! I'm not used to writing reviews, but what happened today was very unpleasant and unprofessional. NEVER AGAIN!

02/09/2025: I'm not arguing about the quality of the ice cream since I didn't eat it, but I'm giving it one star for the incredibly rude clerk! My daughter asked for a €7 pistachio ice cream sundae, and when she asked what it was made of, the clerk replied, "I've been here a month, the ice cream shop has been open forever," as if to say, "You should know better than me." Have you ever heard of walk-in customers? But the worst was yet to come: the debit card didn't work on the first try, and the clerk literally snatched the ice cream from my daughter's hands. I should have left it there, but it wouldn't have been fair to the little girl, who would have been left without a cup. Obviously, the ice cream was paid for, but this kind of treatment is unacceptable. Too bad the owner wasn't there!

22/08/2025: Next time they refuse to let me pay with my debit card, making excuses, I'll call the finance department.

22/08/2025: In 2025, we still hear "the POS has been having problems since this morning." Strangely, it won't even turn on. Reading other reviews, it seems to be a fairly recurring "problem." Unacceptable.

24/10/2024: Almost an hour wait from ordering 2 cocktails and 1 sandwich at an off-peak time

09/10/2024: The coffee is good, but 4.20 euros for a correct coffee and an espresso is really excessive! I understand the table service surcharge, but one euro per coffee? We weren't even in Piazza San Marco. Never again.

16/07/2025: Dai social al mal di pancia è un attimo. Siamo venuti con amici e siamo stati male 3 su 4 persone. Servizio lento e appena appena sufficiente, pesce scadente e molto probabilmente congelato e mal cucinato ma venduto ad un prezzo esorbitante. Dopo tante esperienze qui ho perso la faccia con gli amici. Mai più!!

10/07/2025: Sorvolo sul fatto di aver richiesto il tavolo esterno e invece la pigrizia ha avuto il sopravvento.. abbiamo mangiato pesce che sembrava veramente buono ma non si e' rivelato così.. dopo un ora siamo dovuti andare a casa e il giorno dopo non e' stato piacevole. Il prezzo alto. Mai piu'
