21/05/2026: Had a delicious meal. Local dishes are on the menu and are reasonably priced. There are a few vegetarian options, which change with the seasons. It's a shame that the two primi courses were very similar. They did taste great, though! Very attentive staff who are willing to help. Simple, but cozy, and the interior fits the surroundings. Highly recommended if you are in the area and looking for a restaurant.
18/05/2026: Hello. There were four of us, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed it, and the service from the waitress was excellent! It was right next to the accommodation we also booked through them.
We didn't like the accommodation at all! It smelled terrible, the beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom was far too small.

09/06/2026: We stopped here on our way for lunch. The service was pleasant and the food was good.
08/06/2026: We came for the food and it was a pretty bad experience. Started with them bringing peanuts, bread, potato chips and olives which they never said anything about and turns out to be €4 per person, which we were a group of 5. We found this out when we paid at the end, they said it’s normal in Italy yet we have been here over a week and nobody else has this or charged for it.
They don’t open until 7pm but nothing online says this so we waited for 40min.
Staff wasn’t that nice.
Food was just ok. The carbonara only gave 12 pieces of rigatoni. Absolutely horrible!! The lamb shank was good, along with the steak.
If I were you I’d find another option for food!!

09/06/2026: A splendid place surrounded by lush nature. The chef creates exquisite dishes combining Roman and Dolomite cuisine. Excellent wines, friendly and professional staff, and a welcoming and cheerful atmosphere.
08/06/2026: The eggplant parmigiana was very good, but the desserts were disappointing. We'll be back anyway.

14/06/2026: This is certainly an excellent restaurant with a characteristic Cadore atmosphere. Unfortunately, once my wife and I sat down, I read on the menu that the cover charge was 4 euros, per person, of course. We got up and left. Such a price was unacceptable and inexplicable, even if they had gold cutlery! In our extensive restaurant experience, we have never encountered such a high cover charge.

02/06/2026: Want to be treated like dirt by the elderly, gray-haired waitress/owner and eat a specialty pizza? Then this is the place!
Aside from this "small" detail, I'd also like to point out the lack of certain ingredients on the pizzas that weren't mentioned before ordering. Kudos to the pizza chef, who does an incredible job considering the setting. Fair prices and free parking. If it wasn't clear, I'd never return; it's better to reward those who treat people with respect.

26/05/2026: Probably one of the best burgers I have had in my travels, yet the “tradizionale” for sure. Food was really good, service was good and prices seem really fair for such a remote area. The view is amazing also with plenty of shade to sit. Recommended for sure

02/06/2026: I stop here with my colleagues when we're doing street maintenance. In my opinion, the set menu is the best in the area. You can immediately tell the ingredients are top-quality and the kitchen puts a lot of effort into making the dishes rich and tasty. A truly excellent restaurant.

28/05/2026: The venison steak was simply exquisite, the best I've ever eaten. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was welcoming, right on the ski slope.

03/03/2026: We were at the campervan rest area and, after a nice snowshoe hike, we decided to go to a restaurant for lunch. On the maps, we saw the "Baita Piste Nera" (Black Piste Chalet) and decided to go there. The atmosphere was truly mountain hut-like, the waitresses were lovely and friendly, and above all, the food was delicious! All of this, in our opinion, was reasonably priced. Recommended. Four stars because to get there, you have to walk a short distance down the piste (hence the name) or climb a short icy slope.
