27/08/2025: This was the best Rifugio we stayed at during our Alta Via Hike. It is technically little off the route, but is definitely worth the detour. The room was spacious, compared to many others we experienced. Since they can accomodate only about 10 people, there is a very cosy atmosphere. The staff was very kind and the dinner was by far the best. It was also possible to order from regular menu, since they host other customers. I cannot recommend it enough :)

21/08/2025: We hadn't booked, but the girl found us a table for two (so far so good). We waited 25 minutes before they asked us for drinks. Another 10 minutes for the menu. But despite this, the dishes arrived fairly quickly. The prices were quite high, but good.

19/09/2025: Here you can find cheeses, cured meats, various types of honey, jams, and other products of undeniable quality. The prices are not cheap, though I would say they are justified.

15/08/2025: Open only at noon, and during the winter only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The restaurant is clean, tidy, and quiet. The beautiful open kitchen adds a touch of class. The food is excellent, with almost all ingredients sourced locally. For this reason, the menu offers only a few dishes, but the quality makes up for the limited choice. The staff is courteous and attentive to the needs of their customers. You can purchase cheeses, wines, and other products before leaving. The price is absolutely reasonable.

25/10/2025: Everything the other guests have written is spot on. It has that Italian vibe inside, thanks to the pizza being made right in front of the guests. It's not a fancy restaurant, but that's exactly what creates the atmosphere. The owner's wife runs among the guests, speaking only Italian, of course. We're coming back with great memories. The pizza is, of course, very tasty, and so is the tiramisu.

15/09/2025: The best pizzeria of my entire vacation in northern Italy. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to visit and enjoy the pizzas.

17/10/2025: Incredible food! Great mix of flavors, something you would expect from a very high end restaurant. The tartar with a blueberry sorbet 10/10!

07/09/2025: My girlfriend and I went for lunch. It's a very welcoming place, easy to reach by walking from Pian della Sussistenza in both summer and winter, or by taking the cable car from Molino! We had an appetizer, a first course, and a dessert. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended. 👍🏻

05/11/2025: There are few options in Belluno, IT. I've stayed at several over a couple of trips. This is the only one I return to. The staff are beyond welcoming and accommodating! The front desk staff goes out of their way to accommodate and welcome you. The Maitre in the restaurant is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He remembered not onky my name on my second visit but what my caffe order is as well as my favorite ammazzacaffè! The rooms are spotless and charming with open beam ceilings and comfortable beds. I'll stay here every time I come anywhere close to Belluno.

24/10/2025: Updated October 24, 2025 I stand by everything I said in my first review and add the kindness, courtesy, and patience of Mrs. Wanda, who assisted me with the booking and everything. Very helpful and wonderful location. Thank you 2019 Review Impressive and hidden location. It feels like arriving at a French castle... A feast for the eyes. Spacious room. With a couple of minor flaws. 1. No bedside table on one side of the bed (ok if I'm alone, but two... One has to make do). 2. A fairly outdated TV with many channels blocked. 3. It takes a scientist to study the lighting control unit. And the air conditioning. Apart from these points, everything was fine. Jacuzzi shower, bathrobes, slippers, and everything else that makes it a ****. Free and fast Wi-Fi. Smiling and pleasant staff, especially Marco at the restaurant, who prepared two superb eggs. With the help of his colleague Matteo. Even the ladies at reception are smiling and helpful. I'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: A must-visit at Costa to sample an excellent, always varied menu. Impeccably prepared first courses, meat dishes, side dishes, and desserts, generous and tasty portions, in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. And outside, you can enjoy a magnificent view!

08/10/2025: There were 4 of us going up to Costa. Menu: pappardelle with venison, pork cheek, etc. Dessert... everything perfect, delicious. Simple atmosphere and excellent staff, just what you want to find when going out for a bite to eat with friends. Compliments.

04/09/2025: The food was simple, very well priced and delicious. Who I assume is the owner works hard and it really shows. We came at peak lunch hour and she was so efficient with service and making everyone welcome. She even took the time to explain the menu to me despite how busy it was - and it was just her handling the front of house! Very warm and welcoming. Even the loo was thought out with a lot of care and nice touches. A great place to grab a quick bite and the compact menu changes all the time so you get great food but variety too. I paid €14 for a salad, bread, water, meal and espresso. It was a proper experience of casual, efficient dining - inside or out as they had seating outside with umbrellas. Strikes me as a bistrot with lovely details in both decor and even the music. And I made my flight with time to spare. Perfect for an affordable meal, especially if you don’t have loads of time. When you see regulars you know you found a good place!

31/08/2025: The food is excellent, and there's a very pleasant combination of tradition and innovation. The service was quick, courteous, and efficient. Parking is available, but not a huge amount. I recommend it!

02/11/2025: We spent a wonderful week at the hotel. The room is tastefully decorated, toiletries in the bathroom. Clean. We had two dogs with us The area is perfect for morning and evening walks. Dogs can also be taken to the restaurant. The breakfast is wonderful. We also had dinner in the restaurant a few times. The food is delicious The staff and hosts are also nice and attentive. If we come to the Dolomites next time, we would love to stay here again.

Nestled among the mountains, it's delightful to admire the majestic promontories and meadows. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with exposed wood, high-quality amenities, and that touch of elegance that made us feel right at home. The cuisine is simply divine! Local dishes are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the owners are always ready to recommend the best dishes.
