03/07/2025: I must say that the cuisine is always very good

03/07/2025: We often go to Croda Caffè for a good pizza, thin, digestible and with good first manners. Attentive but not intrusive service, fair prices for Cortina d'Ampezzo. We invited three other people besides us: Two excellent Sicilian, one with mushrooms, one with burrata and a very good capricciosa with 5 beers. And to finish Pineapple and a truffle I recommend it for those who want to be in company without too many frills and pretensions. They also have a restaurant menu, nice dishes but we haven't tried it yet.

20/08/2025: A very large restaurant, but unfortunately no ventilation or air conditioning. We had the "touristico" menu with pasta pomodoro, pasta funghi, or pasta e cicoria. The second was arrosto, caprese, or (I forgot the third choice), with greens, water, and coffee. For €15, it's worth it. The only real downside was the heat in the restaurant. The service was professional.

20/07/2025: Not a positive review at all. We booked Wednesday afternoon for a night between Saturday and Sunday. We arrived Saturday morning around 11:00 and were told to come back in the afternoon because the room wasn't ready. We returned in the afternoon after 4:00 and were told they had no rooms available, so they redirected us to a nearby B&B where we found a modest room with a shared bathroom. Thank you and congratulations for the helpfulness of the B&B managers, but at the Hotel Giglio Rosso there was no excuse for what happened. It was absolutely unacceptable in this day and age, and above all, the rude staff turned their backs on us and walked away when we complained about it, and on top of that, they wanted to charge us the full rate...absolutely unacceptable and disgusting handling of the problem. ABSOLUTELY NEGATIVE REVIEW

05/09/2025: We ate at this restaurant after a very interesting excursion 🚶🏻‍♂️ to the nearby Serrai. The quality of the food seemed decidedly good, as was the value for money 👌. The place is perhaps a little dated but is decently decorated. There's probably room for improvement in the service, since one of the waitresses (although very kind) didn't understand a word of Italian 🇮🇹 and made a bit of a mess when ordering. Overall, an absolutely positive review. RECOMMENDED 👍. 05/09/2025: Great place in the center of town with outdoor seating. At first glance, it looks like a bar with plastic chairs, but it offers good service, excellent food, and a fair price.

20/08/2025: We stayed the week of August 15th. The staff were kind, professional, and high-quality. The food was good. Greetings from Pisa, Ken, Roberta, and Gemma!

20/08/2025: The first night, I felt good in a comfortable bed. I had no idea what to eat for breakfast. The only hot food was coffee!!! It's a hotel, but they didn't change the towels for four days. After breakfast on the first day, while I was washing up, a staff member came in without knocking, making mornings always unsettling. I was always in a hurry because I was anxious about the housekeeping staff's visit. There was no sign provided at the door, so I couldn't tell them when to come and go. The staff were friendly and I had a good impression.

23/08/2025: I'll get straight to the point. The owner is truly rude, arrogant, and often impolite. The pizza is good, but the owner's treatment ruins everything. I go there every now and then because it's close to home, out of laziness, but I stay in the restaurant as little as possible. The rest of the staff is polite, however, and thankfully, they don't follow the owner's example. Recommended only for the pizza, and if you're someone who doesn't mind being treated rudely, they'll resent it.

04/01/2025: More than a wine shop, Corona D'oro is a real living museum open to all. Mr. Bepi manages what is a true attraction of excellence in the Valley The choice of wines and grappas is valid. The cuisine is limited to some accompanying foods but you don't come here to eat Hats off, instead, for maintaining such a characteristic and important place for the area: to be rewarded! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ABSOLUTELY TO VISIT FOR A DRINK AN OMBRA, A COFFEE OR A GRAPPA
