16/09/2025: Unfortunately, not so great. We came here on a recommendation. The whole experience was supported by the 4.2 Google rating. The pizza tasted good. The price/performance ratio was okay. Unfortunately, our cutlery was dirty. There were also food scraps in our glasses, which we unfortunately only noticed after pouring our drinks. Furthermore, two hornets were flying around the dining room the whole time.

07/10/2025: If you've ever stayed at a B&B, this is a must. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful. The servers are especially friendly.

27/09/2025: A refined, relaxing atmosphere with wooden furnishings and elegant mountain décor. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Excellent wine. Excellent, unpretentious, and satisfying dishes. Prices are reasonable for the quality. You leave feeling very satisfied.

26/08/2025: We ordered three pizzas, water, a Coke, and two desserts. Everything was good, and the staff was kind and welcoming. The only downside was the timing. We really waited a long time for the pizzas to arrive.

20/07/2025: Not a positive review at all. We booked Wednesday afternoon for a night between Saturday and Sunday. We arrived Saturday morning around 11:00 and were told to come back in the afternoon because the room wasn't ready. We returned in the afternoon after 4:00 and were told they had no rooms available, so they redirected us to a nearby B&B where we found a modest room with a shared bathroom. Thank you and congratulations for the helpfulness of the B&B managers, but at the Hotel Giglio Rosso there was no excuse for what happened. It was absolutely unacceptable in this day and age, and above all, the rude staff turned their backs on us and walked away when we complained about it, and on top of that, they wanted to charge us the full rate...absolutely unacceptable and disgusting handling of the problem. ABSOLUTELY NEGATIVE REVIEW

06/10/2025: A good pizzeria in Sottoguda. The pizza is always good and tasty, if you like thin crust and not Neapolitan style.

01/10/2025: We were starved coming back to our hotel after a day of hiking and climbing. Even though the restaurant had closed, they seated us. allowed us to order pizzas and did not rush us at all as we ate our delicious dinner.

20/08/2025: We stayed the week of August 15th. The staff were kind, professional, and high-quality. The food was good. Greetings from Pisa, Ken, Roberta, and Gemma!

20/08/2025: The first night, I felt good in a comfortable bed. I had no idea what to eat for breakfast. The only hot food was coffee!!! It's a hotel, but they didn't change the towels for four days. After breakfast on the first day, while I was washing up, a staff member came in without knocking, making mornings always unsettling. I was always in a hurry because I was anxious about the housekeeping staff's visit. There was no sign provided at the door, so I couldn't tell them when to come and go. The staff were friendly and I had a good impression.

07/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we loved it! The hotel was at a good location and the views from the room are beautiful. The hotel and room are very very clean and well designed, and the staff are so polite and helpful. The free breakfast and afternoon snacks were perfect for sweet and savoury meals, and the pastries were amazing!! It was a good base, we even rented e bikes from the hotel and used them to explore the area. Would recommend highly!

03/06/2025: Cucina ottima nulla da dire, servizio gentile, ma tempi troppo lunghi. Deludente il luogo, non come descritto, non ci sono animali.

02/06/2025: Sono andato a pescare nei laghetti posti sulle isole l'acqua era in condizioni pessime piene di alghe e vegetazioni pesci ce ne erano pochissimi e non attirati dalle esche consegnatomi. Dopo 2 ore che ero lì me ne sono andato a mani vuote...tengo a precisare che sul posto ho trovato altre due persone con le loro rispettive canne da pesca che hanno riscontrato le mie stesse difficoltà ....ma perché non pulire quei laghi ?perché non mettere più pesci ?visto che c'è gente che paga per avere tale servizio?Ho cercato di avere un riscontro col personale si è giustificato dicendo che il tutto è influenzato dai cormorani e dai sbalzi delle temperature ....lascio a voi ogni considerazione !Io cerco altrove !

19/08/2025: Truly delicious dumplings, cooked to perfection! Fast and friendly service, with always smiling staff. The mountain setting is enchanting, with a unique view that makes the refuge even more special. Highly recommended!
