03/01/2026: It was a lovely discovery! A well-maintained and clean family-run hotel with excellent service. We enjoyed the simple but delicious dinner. It's just a stone's throw from Sappada and other tourist destinations. Next time we'll try the Finnish sauna!

06/04/2026: Beautiful cafe in Cortina, next to the church. We sat down for lunch and coffee but unfortunately the kitchen was closed and we only had coffee. Normal prices and good coffee. And the food prices are normal (always taking into account the area). The staff is polite and the shop is small but neat and has a wide variety of wines inside. I don't know what time the kitchen is open but it is a good choice for a stop.

27/03/2026: Wonderful view!!! Come for the view, but certainly not for the food.
Prices are decidedly high, and it's not like a refuge easily accessible by public transport. Very disappointed, definitely not worth returning.

05/04/2026: We went without a reservation at 9:30 pm. They found us a table.
The food was very good, and the portions were just right. We only had main courses, and it was very nice. The price of some dishes is a bit high, but it's reasonable considering the area.
16/03/2026: Our dinner for 8 was excellent! We had steaks (cooked perfect medium), ragu, rosemary potatoes, salads, great wine, great bread and some incredible desserts. Service was perfect, the restaurant was well ventilated, they were amazing! If you don’t visit while in town you are missing something very special.

Then I'd add the excellent cuisine and top-notch aperitifs! I recommend stopping by! The manager and chef are very friendly and approachable.

29/12/2025: Perfectly located near a large supermarket. Perfect for a stop before entering Cadore. Absolutely professional, good food, generous portions, and a good price. Highly recommended.
14/12/2025: I was there today at 12, waited a long time, and the place was empty...the food wasn't bad. Seafood salad and fried fish. The portions were small for the price. The pizza was good. Desserts were good. No comment.
High prices. I won't be back.

12/09/2025: A beautiful mountain hut, renovated from many years ago.
The garden is immaculately kept and the 270-degree panorama is mesmerizing.
It's a shame that when we arrived at 3:45 pm, they were almost out of coffee...but no big deal...
The final stretch of the trail is wide and well-maintained.
The first two-thirds, starting from Barezze, are decidedly challenging: narrow, muddy, and sometimes not perfectly marked.
At a medium-slow pace and a few stops, the climb takes an hour and a half...
The descent is a little quicker.

We ate the pizza round, which was good and plentiful.
19/11/2025: Immersed in the greenery of our wonderful mountains, about a thousand meters, there is this intimate refuge, restaurant pizzeria 🍕, where you can taste excellent first courses of land, excellent grilled meat cooked to perfection, polenta, grilled vegetables, French fries and much more, all delicious, then the pizza 🍕, cooked in a wood oven, in all variations, moreover the amazing pizza round 🍕, very good homemade desserts, excellent liqueurs and fruit under grappa, excellent choice of wine 🍷 and beer 🍻 🍺 all served by kind and helpful and very friendly staff, highly recommended

11/02/2026: Let me start by saying that I only ate a large salad... It was very filling and I'm sure it will fill you up... The service was average... The prices were reasonable.
31/01/2026: A simple pizzeria with a wood-fired oven. Good pizza and a wide variety of pizzas on the menu, including a restaurant. Service: friendly and efficient. After a reasonable wait, they served seven different pizzas at once. Worth a try.

09/02/2026: Everything was excellent: a beautiful location, a stunning view, delicious and well-presented food (I recommend the ravioli with burrata, gorgonzola, and walnuts), attentive but not intrusive service, and excellent Wi-Fi.
Side note: some pranksters stole my umbrella on a very rainy day. The owners gave me theirs in exchange, again demonstrating great customer service. I urge the perpetrators to return the umbrella to the restaurant.
04/02/2026: Right on the main square. Small but charming and charming. Polite staff. Excellent meat. Clean bathrooms.
