04/11/2025: The worst restaurant we've been to in Cortina. Especially in a renowned tourist destination like Cortina. And in Italy, a country where you're supposed to eat well everywhere. I rarely give a rating of 1, but when it comes to what we experienced at lunch, it's a complete disappointment. Don't leave your money in a place like this. Let's start with the terrace. The boss arrives with a waiter and spreads a tablecloth over a wobbly table. They didn't do anything better than put a piece of cork from a wine bottle, but the table kept moving, almost spilling the drinks. And then the thought of a waiter who mistook us for his friends and told us we could put 500 euro bills on the table to stabilize it??? This is already disrespectful to the customer and unprofessional. Because where I come from, we have 1000 CHF bills to put on the table just in case! I could already see that the service would be deplorable. We ordered an aperitif with a Spritz and a Hugo. We hadn't even had the aperitif when they asked us to order. For the second time, service was "zero" in less than 10 minutes. After finishing the aperitif, we ordered a raw red shrimp appetizer (35 euros) and a goose pâté (25 euros). I also ordered a bottle of Ruinart Blanc de Blanc (190 euros). They brought me a Ruinart Brut, and when the waiter opened it in 10 seconds without letting me see the bottle, there was no gas, the cork was dry, and the tip was moldy. I smelled the cork and immediately told him that the champagne tasted like cork. It tasted acidic, sour, and bitter. I sent the bottle back, saying it needed to be exchanged and that they would bring me a Blanc de Blanc, not a Brut. But now comes the most scandalous part. The waiter returned 5 minutes later with the same open bottle, telling me that the boss had said the champagne didn't taste corked!!! So either you think people are stupid, ignorant, and uneducated, or you're a terrible professional and don't know how to do your job. I already have the answer to this question = both. Let's keep laughing a little. I said I didn't want that bottle anymore and that I would order a simple Prosecco for 50 euros. For the main course, we chose a Trounedos Rossini (38 euros/person), ordered rare. It arrived on a cold plate, like the shrimp. And it wasn't cooked rare, but rather well done. But let's keep laughing because about 20 minutes after our complaint about the bottle of Ruinart champagne, that same bottle was served by the glass to two customers (apparently acquaintances of the boss, given his complicity with them). As a result, one of them drank the whole glass and didn't realize the champagne was bad (which goes to show you can give anything to people who don't know anything, but as soon as it becomes a brand, "it's good." The other didn't take more than a sip and grimaced. Lunch price: €211. It would have been better to go to a bar for a sandwich. So for now, this will remain the worst restaurant we've tried in Cortina. The quality/price ratio and service were beyond disappointing. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

03/10/2025: We had our last dinner during our stay in Cortina at the restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was very attentive and our whole experience was wonderful. We do recommend the Olympo desert.

14/09/2025: A beautifully located restaurant in Arabba. If you sit in the winter garden/terrace, you can see the mountains. The food arrived super quickly and was excellent. The service was also very pleasant and friendly.

07/09/2025: After a day on the bike, we stopped at this bar for a refreshing aperitivo. The idea was to grab a drink and a snack before getting back on the road. The Spritzes were well-made, refreshing, and perfect for the occasion. Unfortunately, the accompaniment didn't live up to expectations. We were only served two bruschettas each, which were good, but definitely not enough to satisfy our aperitivo appetite. If you're looking for a good drink, this is a great place. If you're hoping for a buffet or generous appetizers, you might be a little disappointed.

26/08/2025: I've only eaten here once, but the experience was very positive. The place is spacious and welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere. The waiters were kind and helpful. The prices are very fair for the quality offered: excellent value. Recommended.

07/09/2025: We had vegetarian pizza and French fries here and the taste was so good. Couldn’t not ask for more good. The staff was so helpful and supportive when it comes to communicating in Italian.

02/09/2025: I can only rate the pizza, not the rooms. For me, it's the best pizza in Alpago, cooked in a wood-fired oven, excellent, well-rolled dough, good ingredients. It never left me feeling sick (and I have gallstones), nor did it make me thirsty at night after eating. The price was also among the best in the area.

21/09/2025: Perfect room. Not just accommodation, but a memorable experience. Wonderful staff, indescribable cuisine. The best lasagna I've ever had. The most genuine smiles. Rating 11: Completely won over!

06/07/2025: The location is great and the rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel staff are also very friendly. There's just one criticism: Could you please offer some fruit and vegetables at breakfast? Tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. There were no eggs either. The breakfast wasn't ideal for getting healthy energy. But the rest was OK.

20/09/2025: Hidden gem just off the main street in Cortina. We ejnoyed two of the best glasses of wine we've ever had. The service was absolutely fantastic and our server walked us through several different wines and cheese. 10/10 would recommend!

13/09/2025: Great find hidden just off the main Cortina strip. Amazing wine selection, superior service and delicious food featuring 10+ cicchetti and a wide range of local charcuterie and cheeses. We were the only non-locals but the server tested is like we were locals.

14/07/2025: Bella serata trascorsa con mia moglie all’Agriturismo AI Lares. Ottimi piatti scelti (Canederli e Pancia di Maiale con riduzione al vino rosso e frutti di bosco con polenta) e uno spettacolare millefoglie alla crema. Daniele, il nostro cameriere, molto gentile e premuroso. Prezzi assolutamente onesti! Consigluatissimo.

13/07/2025: Ein bisschen abgelegen in den Bergen, aber eine hervorragende Küche mit vielen eigenen Produkten. Preis/Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.

30/08/2025: The pizza is 5-star, excellent!!! The 3 stars are for one reason only: we ordered a cured meat appetizer, which was also good, but there's a but. I don't think you should serve a cured meat appetizer without, I don't mean croutons or breadsticks, but at least two slices of bread. I'll be back, though, and I hope you've taken this modest advice into consideration.

02/06/2025: Sono andato a pescare nei laghetti posti sulle isole l'acqua era in condizioni pessime piene di alghe e vegetazioni pesci ce ne erano pochissimi e non attirati dalle esche consegnatomi. Dopo 2 ore che ero lì me ne sono andato a mani vuote...tengo a precisare che sul posto ho trovato altre due persone con le loro rispettive canne da pesca che hanno riscontrato le mie stesse difficoltà ....ma perché non pulire quei laghi ?perché non mettere più pesci ?visto che c'è gente che paga per avere tale servizio?Ho cercato di avere un riscontro col personale si è giustificato dicendo che il tutto è influenzato dai cormorani e dai sbalzi delle temperature ....lascio a voi ogni considerazione !Io cerco altrove !

27/11/2025: A small, family-run pizzeria on Cesio's main road. The great thing is that their pizzas can also be customized with the ingredients listed on the menu. We tried the pre-made pizzas on the menu, and I have to say they're tasty, with just a few ingredients and incredibly soft thanks to the very thin crust. Bottom line: the pizzas here aren't fattening at all, but that can be a downside for those who are very hungry. They're also a bit pricey compared to the average restaurant and the location, which isn't particularly touristy. The beers, too, are expensive and nothing more than the usual commercial lagers. Ample parking in front.

23/11/2025: We had two meat dishes: I had the wild boar, which I love, and my companion the mixed grill. Everything was delicious; we devoured it all. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was like a trattoria, which we love. Excellent value for money.

06/07/2025: 1 Cappuccino costs 3,80€... very expensive compared to coffee prizes in italy. But it was very good! and they have fresh pressed orange juice for a fair price

25/04/2025: Excellent hotel where the classic sympathy and friendliness of the Neapolitans reigns. An infinite availability made precious by Mrs. Gelsomina and her brother, great master of a cuisine with dishes not to be missed. Thanks also to the staff for the order and cleanliness of the room.
