25/10/2025: We stopped by one evening for dinner; the pasta and gnocchi were delicious, and the tiramisu was excellent! The service was quick, but the opening hours weren't listed on Google, so we went in a bit blind, unsure if they were open. We wanted to go back later in the week, but it wasn't, which was a shame!

Vegetable gnocchi with local cheeses? They seriously need to find a new cheese shop.
I couldn't even finish the plate because it was so tasteless!
Very expensive! €15 for 8 pasta shapes on a plate. Simply a tourist rip-off!
A disgrace.

01/02/2026: A single dish that needed more: risotto with radicchio was delicious, pasta with mushrooms was nonexistent, the sauce was nonexistent, the seasoning was nonexistent... what can I say???
In my opinion, it shouldn't even be served in a children's cafeteria, totally tasteless. The strudel was delicious, served cold, or rather, colder than cold, without cream...
Wine was served halfway through the first course.
Service was unsmiling, everything needs to be reconsidered.
What a shame!!!!!!!!
06/01/2026: A typical mountain hut frequented on a winter evening with friends.
The atmosphere is welcoming, in keeping with the setting.
The traditional dishes are average, good but not particularly special.
Overall, a pleasant experience.

16/07/2025: Quiet, relaxing location. Surrounded by nature, with trails for everyone. Very close (15 minutes by car) to a city with plenty of potential (Belluno). Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

18/05/2026: We are a group of 25 motorcyclists. On a Sunday outing, we were lucky enough to stop at this restaurant in Trichiana. It's a beautiful restaurant, with super-friendly and helpful staff, something that's hard to find these days. The food was excellent and the portions generous, and we even went back for seconds. All 25 of us were truly super satisfied,
even though the bill was below our expectations. The next time I plan a motorcycle ride in the area, I'll definitely stop by. Everyone was excellent, from the chefs and staff to the very kind owner.
14/05/2026: I can only comment on the service:
I understand that you were in a hurry to close at 2:00 PM, but if you're asked if we still have time and the answer is "yes," then you can't even give people time to sit down.
You weren't threatened; just say, 'The kitchen is already closed.' We would have thanked you and gone elsewhere, which is what we did anyway.
P.S. A nice description of the opening hours on Google would be nice to point out the correct ones.

03/05/2026: Excellent experience, plates of local cured meats and cheeses, and excellent local wine. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable about his offerings. We'll definitely be back.... 10 out of 10.

The place is truly small but perfectly optimised.
I chose a tasting menu with matching wines, which I was completely satisfied with. The owner, Paolo, and his staff are born to pamper and amaze their customers.
The tastings were meticulously prepared with entirely local products.
At the end of the tasting, however, I couldn't resist trying their specialty, the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.
Reservations are essential.

23/05/2026: Excellent in every way and also good value. The owner, Sital, is a very friendly Nepalese who welcomes you with expertise and wit, a great connoisseur of traditional Italian cuisine. His staff is also very good, kind and always smiling. I've been there twice this year, but I hope to return again on my next vacation next year. I've attached some photos.

They should update or review them, because you travel miles for nothing. 😤

11/05/2026: We tried it for an aperitif before dinner, again in Cansiglio, and it was a great experience. Nestled in the Cansiglio forest, you'll find select bottles of Cremant (at the perfect temperature for a proper refrigerator) and other classic method specialties, as well as quality Prosecco and satisfying red wines. The owner is professional and courteous. The decor is traditional, featuring wood accents (with a few slightly standardized paintings).
03/05/2026: We went for dinner. The atmosphere was quaint and welcoming. The service was fast and attentive. The food was excellent. Well done.

05/04/2026: We went without a reservation at 9:30 pm. They found us a table.
The food was very good, and the portions were just right. We only had main courses, and it was very nice. The price of some dishes is a bit high, but it's reasonable considering the area.
16/03/2026: Our dinner for 8 was excellent! We had steaks (cooked perfect medium), ragu, rosemary potatoes, salads, great wine, great bread and some incredible desserts. Service was perfect, the restaurant was well ventilated, they were amazing! If you don’t visit while in town you are missing something very special.
