02/09/2025: We had an amazing stay at Eirl Dolomites Retreat Sappada! 🌿 The location is perfect for hiking, with many trails nearby and a convenient shuttle to the center of Sappada. The breakfast was exceptional — fresh, local, and homemade, with plenty of options. The chalets are cozy, beautifully designed, and built with natural materials, giving a warm alpine feel. Staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for nature, relaxation, and great food!

12/04/2025: Siamo stati ospiti di amici per un matrimonio. Il cibo era davvero sublime. In particolare, il risotto agli agrumi con gamberi rossi, era stratosferico. Abbiamo anche bevuto molto bene. Locale decisamente consigliato.

20/03/2025: Via Tripadvisor hier terecht gekomen. Je gaat hier een beetje terug in de tijd mbt de ambiance en het personeel. Spreken slecht Engels dus even wat zoeken op de kaart. Smakelijke gerechten zonder veel bijlage voor schappelijk prijzen . Prima wijnen voor een prima prijs. Wij hadden een gezellige ongedwongen avond met lekker eten en drinken.

29/10/2025: I understand the large turnout, especially the importance of profit based on quantity rather than quality... the staff was absent, they left us at a table for about 30 minutes while we ordered dessert.

19/10/2025: All in all we had a very good dinner, except the tiramisu, which was unfortunately basically tasteless. The sausage, cheese and polenta was great adn the casunziei were good (more sweet than expected, more dessert like). The mini breads/buns were very good.

09/12/2025: A great surprise, kind, fast and welcoming, portions not exactly abundant let's say so but overall a good place.

10/11/2025: The owner gave a warm and friendly welcome. Very good, typical local food. Service was attentive and fast (lunch on Mondays). Recommended for a day spent hiking or sightseeing in the surrounding area.

Very helpful and attentive staff. - Cristiano, head waiter, very professional. - Giorgi, waiter, extremely helpful. - Massimo, chef, a 5-star chef in my opinion. - Despi, receptionist, knowledgeable and pet-friendly. - Elen, very professional receptionist. During my working life, I've stayed in many hotels, 3, 4, and 5 stars, and I've even eaten at Michelin-starred establishments. I had a GREAT time here. I'll be back. You're among the best. 01/08/2025: Premetto che ci sono stato due volte: la prima in due per un pranzo diciamo "su strada" dopo un lungo viaggio. Ottimi i maccheroncini al sugo di cervo fatto veramente ma veramente bene. Ma poi avevamo fretta e non abbiamo approfondito oltre. Comunque buonissimo. Vista la prima esperienza siamo tornati in quattro per pranzo e devo dire che la prima impressione è stata confermata: ottimo il brasato di costine di manzo veramente fatto bene. Gli altri hanno preso il piatto del Cadore ovvero formaggio alla piastra, finferli freschi, polenta e carne. E hanno confermato anche loro che era ottimo. Come dolce abbiamo preso il cosiddetto miele arrostito un gelato al miele su un crumble di biscotto al cioccolato con crema di lampone. Ottimo

21/07/2025: Locale molto accogliente, stile rustico. Molto curato. Piatti di buona qualità, ma quantità un po’ scarsa , prezzi piuttosto alti.

23/11/2025: A typical trattoria of yesteryear, serving traditional dishes of unique delicacy. The staff is friendly and attentive to their customers. There's a counter selling traditional cheeses and cured meats with the flavors of times gone by. We had the skewered meat, which was delicious, accompanied by generous side dishes. The prices are more than fair considering the selection. You can't help but stop by.

09/11/2025: It appeared as open on Google, but it was completely closed. Google My Business is a disaster in this area… it's impossible to trust the hours they show. They should update or review them, because you travel miles for nothing. 😤

25/10/2025: Ambience was quite nice but had to wait for a while to be served. Immediately noticed the difference of a pizzeria within the town and outside the town. Went for a good old Capricciosa (mozzarella, tomato, ham, mushrooms, artichokes). Taste is alright but the crust was too thick and heavy. Also the artichokes were huge and overpowering. Positive side they had a very spicy oil to eat it with. We asked for a local red and they gave us a Cabernet Sauvignon. Did not enjoy it that much. Charge is added pp for the table higher since it’s in the town I guess. Also the total was double comparing.

16/07/2025: Quiet, relaxing location. Surrounded by nature, with trails for everyone. Very close (15 minutes by car) to a city with plenty of potential (Belluno). Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

The homemade pasta is extraordinary, and the rich sauces enhance each ingredient in a perfect blend of flavors. The service is impeccable, the staff is friendly, and nothing is left to chance. A must-visit for lovers of authentic cuisine.

16/08/2025: We can't be sure, but perhaps the management has changed since last year? We'd actually been there a couple of times in the past and had a great time. The location is truly pleasant and well-maintained. Unfortunately, we returned last Tuesday and had a very disappointing lunch. The speck tasted like cardboard and was salty, and my polenta with mushrooms left me feeling nauseous all night. Fortunately, given the poor quality of the dishes, the portions were small. The prices, however, are not. In fact, a (very small) plate of polenta with mushrooms (which was also not good) costs €18, which is truly excessive. For a small meal, bad food, and overpaying, I really don't think we'll be back. It's a shame because we've been there every time before, and we've been really satisfied.

20/08/2025: Great corner pub. Very local. The burgers are good but don't expect American style or flavors. Couple of craft beers on tap and well poured Pilsner Urquel. Cheap wine as well. Indoor and outdoor seating. Near the train/bus station.
