A typical mountain hut frequented on a winter evening with friends. The atmosphere is welcoming, in keeping with the setting. The traditional dishes are average, good but not particularly special. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Here, the kitchen is buzzing with activity, with quick yet basic service. It's easily accessible from Calalzo di Cadore and is located in a charming spot, ideal for hikes of varying difficulty, where the rocky landscape dominates. We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the warmth when the winter chill is felt outside.

A refuge where you feel right at home in the mountains... a pleasant atmosphere, and the food is truly top-quality, even the wine selection is appropriate. The service is excellent. Furthermore, this refuge is located at the end of the road leading to Calalzo di Cadore, where several trails depart: the Cascata delle Pile waterfall, the Antelao glacier, the Chiggiatto refuge, and more.

We had lunch here after hiking to the Alpine hut. Great welcome, excellent service, extraordinary food quality, and fair prices. We'll definitely be back!

A charming place away from light pollution. The staff was friendly and helpful. My food was a bit dry by my standards, but it was good. Given the location and the 3°C temperature outside, I would have appreciated a fire pit.

07/04/2026: A surprising gem. The place is truly small but perfectly optimised. I chose a tasting menu with matching wines, which I was completely satisfied with. The owner, Paolo, and his staff are born to pamper and amaze their customers. The tastings were meticulously prepared with entirely local products. At the end of the tasting, however, I couldn't resist trying their specialty, the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. Highly recommended. Reservations are essential.
