We went without a reservation at 9:30 pm. They found us a table.
The food was very good, and the portions were just right. We only had main courses, and it was very nice. The price of some dishes is a bit high, but it's reasonable considering the area.

Our dinner for 8 was excellent! We had steaks (cooked perfect medium), ragu, rosemary potatoes, salads, great wine, great bread and some incredible desserts. Service was perfect, the restaurant was well ventilated, they were amazing! If you don’t visit while in town you are missing something very special.

Great food in the oldest restaurant in Cortina. Highly recommended if you like meat (carpaccio to start, bistecca fiorentina, ...). But also pasta or fish (tuna steak) were very good.
Reservation recommended (they have additional space on the upper salon, but lower area is more typical)

This historic restaurant, one of the oldest in Cortina d'Ampezzo, is strategically located right on the corner of the main street.
I've been coming to this lovely restaurant for years with my family because it's always been top-notch, both in terms of the quality of the food and the professionalism and kindness of the entire staff.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful hotel, Hotel Regina, on Corso Italia. It's family-run and managed by Alessia Pin and Matteo Zaggia, a husband and wife team. Matteo personally and meticulously manages the restaurant, sourcing high-quality, natural meats directly from the family farm in the Padua area, so you'll find excellent meat!
Traditional Cortina cuisine and excellent desserts, in a warm and welcoming setting, excellent value for money.
If you happen to stay at the Hotel Regina, you'll receive a customer discount.
Highly recommended, it's always met my expectations.

A traditional restaurant in the city, the oldest. Reservations are important as the main dining room doesn't have many tables and they are always in high demand during peak season. The atmosphere is classic but unpretentious. Friendly and efficient service. On the menu, start with the generous platter of regional cured meats and cheeses. For the main course, choose the pappardelle with venison ragu or the pasta stuffed with beetroot. Good wine list, for all budgets. The value for money is commensurate with the experience. Well worth a visit!
