28/10/2025: Last minute stay during late season (end of October) and it was a very pleasant surprise. Comfortable beds, great staff, and we ended up eating in the restaurant even though we had booked a room with no board, and it was delicious. Local food done simple and well. Wish we had more than 16 hours to spend there.

When you pass through San Boldo, certain places call to you. And here they've never disappointed me. The atmosphere is old-fashioned, familiar, without frills but genuine, the kind I like. You can tell they care; even when the place is packed, the service never misses a beat, quick and friendly. The dishes are traditional; you can taste that the pasta is homemade, and the meat, when cooked on the fire, is top-quality. Of course, don't expect luxury—the bathroom is small—but everything is clean and tidy. It's an honest place, where you eat well, spend a fair amount, and you'll want to return. For a refreshing break after a few twists and turns, it's ideal.

I've been frequenting this place for a few years for motorcycle stops. The service is friendly and the food is reasonably priced but interesting.
Recommended for a stop near San Boldo.

19/10/2025: We stayed here for one night on our biking trip to Venice. Very friendly host, great view of the valley from our room. The restaurant is closed but the host still helped us to a light dinner. Highly recommended!
11/09/2025: Rustic, functional, and clean rooms. Spacious bathroom. New rooms. Access via a dirt road to a natural, peaceful, and charming setting. Unfortunately, they no longer serve food, but the full breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.

09/12/2025: I ate at the self-service restaurant in the cabin. It's well-organized, and although you have to wait a bit, everything is cooked to order, with a view of the kitchen and the chef preparing food right in front of you. Overall, they're pretty quick, and the food is very good!
25/08/2025: My partner, my son, and I went for lunch on Thursday, August 21st. The place is beautiful and the service good, but the food was very disappointing...the dishes arrived a couple of minutes after ordering, and one of my three dumplings was half-cut and tasted far from traditional dumplings. The spaghetti carbonara was inedible, and my partner's egg was very undercooked. I have to say, I wasn't expecting this from a mountain lodge in such a beautiful location and at such high prices.

20/09/2025: We went there on a Sunday for lunch after hiking to Vach Lake. The place is truly beautiful and worth a visit, both for the hospitality and the view. We sat inside, it was very nice and cozy, in mountain style. The waiters were friendly, kind, and quick. The food was excellent, you could taste the authentic quality. We ordered goat, spelt with polenta, and a side of beans with cabbage. Coffee was kindly offered. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations.
