29/05/2025: Very welcoming, well-kept and stylish place. Beautiful. Friendly, smiling staff with whom it was nice to have a chat at the end of the meal. Very good cold cuts platter as well as the beer. Very small reservation for the pasta and frico. Good venison ragù. To return to dissolve the small reservations.

08/03/2025: Beautiful setting, pleasant atmosphere, but disappointed by some dishes that were served to us, such as the barley soup, a broth with some pieces of carrots, potatoes and a few barley grains! You can't call a dish like that barley soup!

08/01/2025: For the gold, as often happens. But nothing to complain about. My room, not huge, was enough for what it needed: sleeping between one day of work and another. Good food and not at an exorbitant cost. The slightly noisy corridors, it could have bothered someone, but let's clarify that the fault would be of the guests and not of the structure, but in any case the silence was and fell strictly at the stroke of 10 pm, approximately. Strong point, in my opinion, the staff: kind, friendly and always with a smile. I recommend it. I already went back the next day just for lunch, even though I was not a guest ... and I will definitely go back.

12/03/2025: They look like Neapolitan-style pizzas with a crust and long leavening... therefore very light and digestible. Too bad for the very few decent photos, where you can see the whole pizza... almost all with cropped corners or half-photographed.

18/01/2025: Enchanting place, with the terrace on the Centro Cadore lake and the Dolomites in the background. The food is divine and the staff is kind and friendly. The Typical Lagole Dish is delicious, a terracotta bowl with polenta, mountain cheese, Dolomite speck and forest mushrooms. Mouth-watering! The pepper trout with salad was also tasty! It is only open in the summer.

10/09/2024: Excellent location to access various via ferratas on the Schiara and surrounding areas. Reachable in about 3 hours of walking from the Case Bortot car park. Standard facilities for a mountain refuge (6-9 bed dormitories, with bunk beds). Possibility of cold shower (free) or hot shower (for a fee). Excellent service.

03/09/2024: The young woman working there is absolutely the best thing about the hut. Super friendly and genuine, she likes to chat to customers. Even gave us THE BEST gelato recommendation for when we got back to Belluno.

04/04/2025: Recently renovated refuge, even too beautiful 😊. It is one of the stops along the Viel del Pan. We ate very well, a bit sophisticated. The view is breathtaking. Reachable from the Pordoi Pass, or from Arabba with the Porta Vescovo cable car or from Penia di Canazei, equally with the cable car.

04/06/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo locale posto nel centro di cortina ma fuori dalla via centrale. Per un diguido della cucina il piatto di mia figlia e’ arrivato in ritardo e per questo la titolare e’ venuta a scusarsi di persona ma non solo … al momento del conto ci ha offerto anche il dolce! Piatti nella norma, pizza ben lievitata e digeribile, location tipica montana. Sicuramente da provare!

09/05/2025: Son stato a cena infrasettimanale con dei colleghi … non ero mai stato ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa ..: il posto è molto bello e la “casera” altrettanto … ben ristrutturata … pulita e direi pure elegante … il termine casera probabilmente ricorda le origini .. La ragazza che ci ha seguito è molto gentile e simpatica … cibo buono e abbondante…. prezzi buoni … La località si presta molto a passeggiate prima e dopo i pasti … Direi da andarci tranquillamente … e se avrò occasione ci tornerò ..
