29/12/2025: Best spaghetti eis I've ever eaten. I also like the place overall, even though it's been like this for years. (This refers to the place until March 2020; then the management changed, but I haven't been there enough yet; anyway, spaghetti eis is more or less the same as under the previous management, with good and fairly generous appetizers.) Update December 2025: The new management has been in place for years now, and I find it good. Spaghetti eis is always very good, and the staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. The place has obviously changed a bit in the meantime.

21/02/2026: Over the years, Gastronomics by Guido, with its renowned duck bigoli and fried fish, has become a local favorite and beyond. Consistent flavor and courteous service are the hallmarks of this twenty-year-old project. The tireless work of Guido himself and his staff lovingly ensures that two dining rooms and a counter with over a hundred options are available every day (except Mondays). Adding more would be pointless. Thanks guys.

25/11/2025: The appetizers were good (I sampled 5 entrees), the first course (risotto with gorgonzola, pear, shrimp, and caviar) had too many ingredients and the vortex was overwhelming, and the dessert (pineapple sorbet) was forgettable—it was just frozen pineapple juice. VERY POOR service: in addition to the endless wait for the courses (appetizers, first course, and dessert), we were seated in a room with 5 tables for a total of 21 people, a room that could have accommodated perhaps 15 people at most (to be optimistic). My seat was literally next to the table next to whose diners I had my back turned, and to whom I apologized on the way out for my definitely impolite posture (not my fault). Furthermore, I could hear everything they were saying. The service staff was also having trouble, literally handing people plates without even putting them down because they were in a tight spot. Do you want to talk about safety? Are we sure this place is legal and suitable for all the people it can accommodate? I was invited; I hope no one invites me to this restaurant again!!!

19/11/2025: Beautiful place, you feel like you're lost in a Parisian alleyway rather than in Pontevico. I went here for lunch and had the business lunch menu. Both the food and the ingredients were top-notch. The decor is very unique; I really liked the place with its eclectic style. The lunch price is very affordable, especially considering the high quality of the food.

01/03/2026: I feel it's important to highlight an issue that deserves further attention. After ordering side dishes, using the single-serving sauces available at the table, we noticed an unusual aftertaste in the condiments. Upon checking the packaging, we discovered that the ketchup had expired; some packets even had an expiration date of 2025. We immediately informed the wait staff, who removed only some of the packets from the table, leaving the rest. The fries already covered with sauce were not replaced, and we received no explanation or apology for the incident. Beyond the incident itself, it's important to emphasize that serving expired products can pose health risks: a more sensitive person or someone with certain conditions could even feel unwell. For this reason, checking expiration dates should never be overlooked, especially when dealing with foods intended for immediate consumption. More scrupulous attention to detail would avoid unpleasant situations that, in other cases, could lead to more formal disputes. We are reporting this incident in a constructive spirit, trusting that it is an isolated incident, and hoping for a tangible improvement in oversight and customer service.

26/01/2026: We had a truly wonderful Sunday lunch. Romina accommodated us in every way: seating us in the quietest room, letting us choose both the toppings for our bigoli and the dessert selection for the final "palette," and always making us feel like she had everything under control, even with a busy restaurant. The dishes were tasty, plentiful, and beautifully presented, and the price was more than fair. What can I say: well done, and...see you soon!!!

06/02/2026: Excellent. I like it because it's an old-fashioned trattoria in the style I like. The staff is friendly. The cod Vicenza-style is very good, and the portion is very generous. The prices aren't low, but they're commensurate with the quality of the service.

The location is splendid, with meticulous attention to every detail and a truly pleasant atmosphere. The service was impeccable, from the moment we greeted us until the end of the meal: the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. The quality of the ingredients was also excellent, clearly evident in every dish. I will definitely return if I have the opportunity to return to this area.

25/01/2026: I went for lunch with a group of twenty. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. The Amarone risotto was excellent, as were the main courses: thin and flavorful steak, perfectly cooked to medium rare, and perfectly cooked chicken. Everything was delicious, and I could have asked for seconds. The wait staff was helpful and impeccable. The rustic atmosphere was appreciated. Highly recommended.
