17/02/2026: A great wine bar with good indoor seating, perfect for a (preferably pre-booked) lunch or dinner. Perfect location, a 10-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge; a bit hidden, with no foot traffic. For red wine lovers, an Amarone tasting is a must. Otherwise, the wine selection is excellent and not too expensive. The food includes cichetti, excellent antipasti, and a selection of first and second courses. Top quality, with friendly and unobtrusive service. A definite recommendation.

10/02/2026: We had a glass of wine or two which we accompanied with a platter of cheeses and the traditional delicacies of Venice “cicchetti”. Everything was very tasteful and yummy 🤤 The music was what we wanted, too. Really recommend this wine bar!

03/03/2026: Spending an evening at 12 Apostoli is certainly a truly unforgettable experience. An ancient restaurant, simply wonderful, where you can breathe history, culture, and passion, with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were impeccable: kind, attentive, and always smiling. Each course is prepared down to the smallest detail, with authentic but not always surprising flavors. The appetizers are admirable, with a wide array of flavors. The sea bass and goat cheese wafer is a real surprise. Fantastic. It's a shame about the first course, where my wife didn't like the smell and taste of the oven-dried yeast... and it is indeed very unique. And the same must be said for the partridge with pearà and brown stock, where the very tender meat was overpowered by a pearà that was truly... too peppery. The wine pairings were good, except for the Barolo, which was perhaps a little dull for the accompanying courses. The sweet wine paired with the desserts was excellent... perhaps a little expensive! The requirement that all diners must choose the same route is limiting.

14/01/2026: We had dinner here a few days ago and everything was perfect. The atmosphere was relaxing, perfect for enjoying excellent seafood dishes paired with excellent wines. The service was impeccable. We'll definitely be back!

07/12/2025: Company dinner... everything was fantastic! First and foremost, the service and organization... the owner was very flexible, and even the young man who looked after our table was truly impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. Every wish was fulfilled. The prices were truly fair for the quality of the food. Not to mention the welcoming atmosphere with attention to detail. Hats off!

30/08/2025: We left Zoppé di Cadore for the Rifugio Venezia (trail marker 471). On our way back, we stopped by the mountain hut to buy some traditional products. Drawn by the delicious aromas and excellent reviews, we found one of the few unreserved tables (so I recommend booking!) and sampled the mountain hut cuisine. We were speechless. First of all, the ingredients were incredible, the preparation and presentation were excellent. The chef and the cheesemaker (the two brothers of the family that runs the mountain hut) are true professionals. The cheesemaker in particular is very kind, attentive, helpful, friendly, and extremely polite. The chef, a man with golden hands, creates breathtaking combinations in his dishes: agnolotti with pumpkin and amaretti, agnolotti with ossobuco and blueberries, agnolotti with polenta and chanterelle mushrooms with currants. These three dishes alone speak volumes about the research and uniqueness of this mountain hut. Delicious appetizers, from fresh and hard cheeses to cured meats, all made in-house. The first courses, as mentioned, were perfect. For main courses, we chose the boiled meat, another super-good ingredient, cooked exceptionally well (12 hours of low-temperature boiling, sous vide!), and the goat ribs... EXCEPTIONAL! We finished the meal with three coffees and a Sacher torte, also homemade, which was wonderful. We paired our meal with an excellent red wine. The quality/price ratio was unparalleled in this area of ​​Cadore, especially considering the fact that the ingredients are locally sourced. What more can we say? 29/08/2025: Patrick and brother have been incredibly welcoming and their passion for quality food is amazing. They are passionate and knowlegeble of what makes a perfect dish, I was also pleasantly surprised of the creativity of their menu all with local produced products. Strongly suggest a visit, we will be back.

15/02/2026: Truly an excellent experience at Ristorante Al Porto! A welcoming and well-kept location, a relaxing atmosphere, and incredibly kind staff, always attentive but never intrusive. The food is simply spectacular: fresh ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and authentic flavors that shine through from the first bite to the last. The portions are generous and the quality is top-notch, both for the fish and the other dishes on the menu. Prompt and professional service, excellent value for money. A place you'll gladly return to and one I'd definitely recommend. Kudos to the entire staff—keep it up! 👏

18/01/2026: Fantastic location. In my opinion, I would have kept the decor simpler because the building itself is stunning, with exposed river stones and brick arches. We tried the freshwater fish tasting menu, a unique experience! Delicate pairings, contrasts, and unique textures from appetizer to dessert! They even managed to make me enjoy the eel, which I don't usually eat! I would recommend it to anyone! We're thinking of returning, hopefully soon!

19/02/2026: To start and finish the bacari, this is the place to go. They serve the best cicchetti in Venice, and they're affordable! If you go to Venice, you absolutely have to stop here!

19/02/2026: For those arriving in Venice and looking to immediately enjoy an excellent Spritz accompanied by some delicious cicchetto (bread bites accompanied by cheese, fish, or cured meats, variously assorted and seasoned according to Venetian tradition), this bacaro is ideal: quality, cleanliness, and affordability (only one euro a cicchetto!). The owner, Sam, and the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, with a truly exceptional level of customer service, from tourists from all over the world to Venetian students. It's located in a beautiful square, overlooking a quiet canal just steps from Piazzale Roma. The four stars for the atmosphere are only because the place is very small and has no seating inside, but it's still charming and offers tables outside. Highly recommended!

14/02/2026: An unusual Friday night at Iona, with a Korean menu! Good food and good beer as always. Having Cantillon Ashanti on tap is truly unique, a true beer unicorn! Truly delicious and creative dishes, top quality.
