02/01/2025: Improbable building. Room a little dark. Obviously, it is not for the setting that this restaurant has its three stars.
Exceptional dry cappuccino, a mixture of strength and sweetness, and a festival of colors: an anthology dish. Risotto, multi-colored, a bit in the same spirit in terms of visuals: a mixture of fruits (melon, watermelon), oysters, shrimp, seaweed, sea urchins... A dish that is both iodized and sweet, quite indefinable in its flavors. Risotto, saffron and liquorice, interesting too, very original, very creamy.
The main dishes are less interesting with a very firm chicken with a smoky taste, and a suckling pig, accompanied by a very reduced, slightly sickening sauce.
Foods are often overly processed. The concern for visuals often takes precedence over that of flavors.
Desserts OK, but not unforgettable. Fake goat cheese, made with almonds and fermented almond water: the illusion is perfect, but the flavors are quite bland.
Nice wine list, fairly decent price. On the recommendation of the sommelier, we took an exceptional Barolo from Rinaldi Tre TIne 2019, with great smoothness and beautiful balance.

Este año han abierto su bar de vinos y salas de cata privadas. Hemos organizado dos catas de vinos diferentes seguido de cenas en sus salas de cata privadas... ¡Son dos de nuestras experiencias más memorables en Venecia!
Simone y Johann son extremadamente conocedores de los vinos que representan.
He tenido la suerte de experimentar muchos eventos de vino con el Gremio de Medios de Vino de Nueva York y la Prensa del Vino de Nueva York... . eventos celebrados en el Four Seasons, restaurante Felidia... . La selección de vinos de AllAmarone en el Véneto y la presentación de información... y la cena que complementó los vinos fue tan profesional y fantástica como los eventos de vino del Gremio de Medios de Vino de NY, los almuerzos de vino en Felidia y la prensa de vinos de NY.

28/11/2024: Buono il cibo, gentile il personale, abbastanza curato il locale.
Non c'è alcunchè di eclatante ma dopo una giornata di turismo stancante a Venezia è il posto ideale per cenare rilassati e allegri.
Sia i bigoli in salsa che il baccalà mantecato ci hanno soddisfatto pienamente.
Prezzi "veneziani" (un po' altini) ma ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo con lo sconto ottenuto con "the fork".
Consigliato anche per la quiete e la bellezza dei dintorni.
18/11/2024: Ieri sera sono stata a cena con mia madre in questo ristorante. Avevamo prenotato alle 20.00 (con il 50%) ma poi all’ultimo abbiamo anticipato alle 19.30 e lo sconto è diventato del 30%… Ma fin qui, nessun problema, ne eravamo consapevoli. Ordiniamo come antipasto una porzione di patatine fritte, come primi io uno spaghetto al nero di seppia e lei alle vongole, e un dolce… Appena arrivano i piatti notiamo subito che c’era una grande differenza tra le due porzioni, lei con tre forchettate aveva già finito. Poco dopo, anche ai ragazzi accanto a noi arrivano due porzioni di spaghetti alle vongole ma le quantità erano nettamente più grandi rispetto al piatto di mia mamma. Chiediamo quindi ai due ragazzi se anche loro avessero prenotato con The Fork e ci rispondono di sì (con sconto del 50%). Al momento del conto, mia madre fa presente il fatto e il cameriere le risponde “sarà stata una svista”, non adoperandosi in NESSUN MODO per ovviare alla “SVISTA”. Un consiglio: guardate sempre i piatti degli altri e non fatevi fregare!

31/12/2024: We got a lot of different first and second meals. The swordfish is amazing, both pasta have a great combination and the 3 spiced meat is really well made.
The service was personal and helped us with everything we needed.
The beer and vine selection is premium and the recommendations were very good.
Interior and music is well picked and makes an amazing atmosphere.
We were a family of 9 with a 1 year old and had no problems.

15/01/2025: Disappointing experience despite good food
The restaurant is quite nice, although not particularly luxurious. The food was good and fresh, with reasonably prepared dishes. However, the prices were very high compared to the service, ambiance, decor and quality of food offered. In particular, the cover charge of 4 euros per person is more appropriate for a luxury restaurant, and not for a structure of this level.
The real problem was the behavior of the staff: unfortunately, they were not at all courteous, and this made the experience decidedly unpleasant. Despite the quality of the food, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant due to this aspect.
15/01/2025: We visited La Scala in Padova based on good reviews but were disappointed. While the food was delicious, the service lacked warmth, and the charges were excessive. For two adults and a 4-year-old, we paid €137 for one full Rombo fish, a starter, a tiramisu, and a scoop of ice cream. They even charged €4 for a bottle of water and €4 per person for service, including our child.
The food was good, but the lack of hospitality and unexpected costs were disappointing.
