07/10/2025: Excellent value. We had three delicious first courses. The daughter's tomato pasta was made with truly exceptional fresh ingredients, just like home-made! Not to mention the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the one with asparagus and guanciale, truly excellent! The cured meats were freshly sliced ​​and typical of the area. Highly recommended even if you're passing through on the highway, convenient for a quick stop.

07/10/2025: A delightful culinary experience. The tasting menu was excellent, every course excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. I consider it the best restaurant in Orvieto I've had the pleasure of visiting.

24/09/2025: Once again, excellent food and service were confirmed. Sunday lunch in the garden was served with attentive and precise service. The menu is always interesting (the pigeon was fabulous). The prices are absolutely consistent with the quality and service. Well done, and congratulations!

27/09/2025: Absolutely rude… shame! If you want to come in and out, come here! And I highly recommend the restaurant next door! We entered at the same time with a table of 3 and a table of 8… at the same time! We sat down, ready to order. We explained to the waitress that we were passing through and asked if we could order since we were ready to do so, having to leave! She rudely replied that we had to wait for others to order before us… pure madness! When I politely pointed out that we had entered “at the same time,” she started yelling, loudly and in front of everyone, that I was rude because I kindly told her we couldn't wait for who knows how long for 11 minds to decide what to eat… time is the greatest gift we have and should absolutely not be wasted, especially in a place where the host is lacking in hospitality and politeness!

29/10/2025: Unfortunately, I have to be quite harsh on the food. Although the owner is very friendly, the food is "nice but not great." It's certainly relatively good for tourists and if you're super hungry—but the prices are quite high, and the quality doesn't match the bill. It's neither fish nor meat: the "simplest" dishes lack the abundance, rusticity, or characteristics of trattoria fare, and the more "complex" ones lack the qualities of dishes more typically found in mid-range restaurants or inns. The attention to detail in the restaurant's decor, as well as the above-average plating for a trattoria, are certainly evident, but they alone aren't enough and are actually a bit misleading. The pasta with fennel was absolutely overflowing with fennel, truly excessive—and the cod (a rather ungenerous portion) Orvietana-style was more like cod with a heavy tomato sauce, so hot it was inedible for a few minutes, a temperature that disintegrated the cod, and even small details like the tasteless Asian pine nuts. It's a shame because there's so much potential and you can see the effort, but there's a lot of work to be done in the kitchen if you really want to justify the higher-than-average price.

26/10/2025: Very good, the location is a bit hidden (don't be lazy, just wander around Orvieto's alleys with curiosity), the food is okay, the atmosphere is a bit rustic (but it's a trattoria!!), and the price is reasonable. I give it full marks.

21/10/2025: We were in Orvieto around 3 weeks ago. There is a laundromat across from the Blue Bar. We started our laundry and headed over to get a drink while we waited on our laundry. Best decision ever! Anthony was wonderful and fun to be around. He also introduced us to several people who were there (some ex-pats, some locals, some tourists). We had a fabulous time chatting with folks, listening to music, and great drinks! We may have all been strangers but we quickly felt like friends. I can't wait to go back to Orvieto and visit Anthony at The Blue Bar!

15/10/2025: When I think of Orvieto, I don’t just think of truffle pasta or a glass of refreshing Orvieto Classico — I think of The Blue Bar, where we became instant locals and friends with people from all over at Anthony’s place. I think of laughing with strangers, walking down alleys lined with architecture worthy of a coffee table book. Orvieto — I hadn’t even heard your name a year ago, and now you wander through my mind (and my dreams) often. Cin cin. 🇮🇹💙🍷

16/10/2025: I recently visited this restaurant and had an overall positive experience. The dishes were good and satisfying, though not particularly refined or innovative. The menu is limited. The presentation was simple, but the flavors were well-balanced and pleasant. The restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, ideal for a dinner with friends or family.

01/09/2025: We found this pizzeria using Google Maps. It had great reviews and we were very hungry. It was definitely a good choice, a nice waitress took care of us, we spoke English very well and even talked about the area. We definitely recommend it.

10/10/2025: I cant believe the service in this place! We ordered aprol and beer, took them 40 mins toget it even after asking for it couple of times! Also they billed us twice for that. The rest of the food had different quality, some very good and some over cooked.. overall for expensive dinner it was disapointing

07/10/2025: We had the apéritovo at Febo. Very cozy alleyway where you can sit and enjoy. They have a decent selection of classic cocktails - great to whet the appetite. We got a small snack alongside it as well.

16/08/2025: A place steeped in history in the heart of Orvieto. The Chiesa di Sant'Andrea is striking for its location in Piazza della Repubblica, where it exudes a medieval atmosphere. Its façade is simple compared to the cathedral, but the interior retains a special charm with columns and ancient frescoes that reflect the passage of time. The most interesting thing is that the church was built on Etruscan, Roman, and early Christian remains, making it a very valuable archaeological site. Furthermore, as it is less visited than the Duomo, it can be enjoyed in peace and quiet. Without a doubt, a recommended stop for those who want to discover Orvieto's deeper history beyond the tourist attractions.

30/09/2025: Good service with regular food. We went there as all other places with excellent reviews on GoogleMaps were sold out. This restaurant had lots of available tables, so we gave it a try. Not bad, but not remarkable. Just “ok”. Update: I was trying to be polite, but as you are so rude, I am updating my review to say: BAD food -> we find better restaurants everywhere in Italy. I am not a troll, sir. I am a LEVEL NINE Google reviewer. Improve the quality of the food you serve and you will get your tables full (like all restaurants around you). Your bad temper after a critique explains it all.
