16/05/2025: This place was FANTASTIC — the service and experience was excellent. Kamal makes all the food fresh behind the counter, made to order and is so quick. Great place to stop for some hamburgers and hotdogs to take a break from the pasta. Although the pizza is to die for too! Our family went back twice in two days. Kamal is the best and very attentive. Would recommend!

01/04/2025: Good food, fast service, friendly owner. Kebab plate, kebab, pizza and mozzarella tomato sandwich satisfied all for a quick but tasty lunch. Plenty of space inside to sit.

12/10/2025: The Osteria Antica Bottega al Duomo is a really cozy place with a rustic interior and nice, warm lighting. Prices are a bit on the higher side (pasta dishes around €15–18), but the portions are fine. The Service was okay. The pasta dishes were very tasty, and the tiramisu was light and fluffy. I dislike that they didn’t allow one person to have a menu and one person taking a pasta plate (both or none) and can’t see the reason for that. Another downside: not very sustainable. They use disposable table covers and single-use packaging for cutlery and napkins, which feels a bit unnecessary for such a nice restaurant.

07/10/2025: Excellent service and delicious food from Chef Pippo, excellent atmosphere.

19/10/2025: I had a late lunch, and while the first half of the food was fine, the table didn't seem to have been cleaned of any traces of previous customers. They didn't provide bread beforehand, and olive oil was provided upon request for €2.50. This is unusual in the land of olive oil. It seems they also add a per-person service charge. Even when translated, they still say something like "€5 for two," which is completely incomprehensible. Perhaps because it's a tourist destination, it feels a bit pretentious, and it's nothing more than a typical restaurant in a tourist area.

19/10/2025: Staff not very friendly. Wine (red) and coffee mediocre. Pasta very undercooked. Toilet mediocre. No locks on toilet doors. Not cleaned. All needs much improvement.

05/03/2025: Tutto eccellente! Dagli strangozzi al ragout bianco di cinta senese per passare agli involtini di coniglio e non ultima la sbriciolata alla crema e lamponi. Consigliatissimo. Personale gentile e professionale.

04/01/2025: Ottima posizione, strategiaca leggermente fuori dalla "passeggiata principale". Curatissimi sia gli esterni, sia gli interni, sia le apparecchiature. Servizio veloce e impeccabile. Menu tradizionale con alcuni piatti rivisitati, gourmet o accostamenti insoliti ma gustosi e ben riusciti. Prezzo in linea con gli altri locali limitrofi. Da consigliare, sicuramente.

31/07/2025: Very tasty pizza as finger food at more than reasonable prices. We also had arancini, which was also delicious. The owner (or owner?) was very friendly, even though we didn't speak Italian :).

07/10/2025: I have never been turned away from a restaurant from being a tourist but was here. Walked by one day and saw the restaurant full of locals. Figured it must be good. I inquired about a reservation was told 'we are only open for lunch'. SO I asked if I could reserve for lunch (had not even given the guy a date). His curt response was 'we are booked every day for at least a week, sorry'. I could tell he was not being honest since he wouldn't make eye contact. Look elsewhere if you speak English!

10/09/2025: We had a wine testing accompanied by a series of small bites. Everything (the food and the wines) were excellent. A great deal too.

12/10/2025: Very nice place in the center of Orvieto good food but the tourist menu mode (drinks and cover charge excluded) makes it a bit "manual" of the type come on eat pay and go we need the table 😅 (I understand) anyway a good place to eat something in the streets of the center 👍

13/07/2025: Mediocre food, especially the shrimp focaccia which tasted rancid and the pruscitto one which was black, the environment is not the cleanest, in fact... terrible service, always pay attention to the change you give, risk of sly foxes wandering around... always come back again

06/09/2025: Unfortunately, I have to give it 2 stars. We stopped by while traveling, and it had just reopened. The service was very slow and unfriendly. Perhaps the only redeeming feature was the appetizer with cured meats and cheeses. We'll definitely be back!

13/10/2025: Too many errors in ordering, long waits, and food not free of errors. I tried the pizza, which was good, and the tagliatelle with wild boar, which were also good.

03/10/2025: We stopped here for coffee in the morning and learned they are winery. We returned later and did a wine tasting - it was a great experience. The wine was great so we brought a bottle home. I would definitely recommend this place (even if you didn’t have time to do a wine tasting I recommend buying a bottle of their wine — it was very good and priced right!! )

09/10/2025: 6 euro for dry bread with cheese. Service not very friendly

08/10/2025: I should have read the reviews before we sat down here. We were hungry and there were a few people sitting here. So I don't know why. The porchetta here - the worst I've had in Italy. 75% lard and 25% burnt and dried out meat. On top of that, a few toasted and undercooked potatoes. I still have to visit Orvieto, but I really won't stop here again.
