08/10/2025: I should have read the reviews before we sat down here. We were hungry and there were a few people sitting here. So I don't know why. The porchetta here - the worst I've had in Italy. 75% lard and 25% burnt and dried out meat. On top of that, a few toasted and undercooked potatoes. I still have to visit Orvieto, but I really won't stop here again.

18/09/2025: We chose this property for its historic character and its pool. We used it for about two hours because it was full of mosquitoes, and we and other guests had to flee. The area could be disinfected so guests can enjoy relaxing by the pool, but instead we had to go up to our room and then leave. The lobby cleaning was a bit unnecessary, and we would have liked a check-in to be done with a smile. The room and breakfast room were dimly lit, and there was no large mirror. Excellent Italian breakfast. We checked out with a smile, asking: "Are you not using the pool?"...
Positive notes for the three of us: historic structure, breakfast, proximity to Orvieto.

24/06/2025: Came here by chance while traveling, as it is close to the highway - but I'll come back for a vacation for sure after seeing this unique building and the lovely town it is in. People are friendly and laid back, the room is large and has AC, the hotel is clean. Total hidden gem! Highly recommended!!

08/09/2025: I spent the weekend at this property with friends. As soon as I arrived, I noticed that the room (and bathroom) were extremely dusty.
Layers of dust covered the exposed ceiling beams, the window frames, the paintings, and the trim on the bathroom wall tiles.
I notified the staff and obtained a partial cleaning (the ceiling beams and window frames were not cleaned).
Upon checking out, I mentioned the problem to the owner, or at least someone who seemed to be the owner, who replied, "I take note of it," in a decidedly arrogant manner, and without a word of apology or regret for what had happened.
The agriturismo is mediocre, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired.
I do not recommend it.
08/09/2025: We stayed one evening in September, in a great location with a view of Orvieto. The staff were welcoming. The room was tidy and clean. The bathroom was small and very dated, with a leaky shower and no bidet. They offered to have dinner outside, where a 10-year-old boy was having a birthday party, but when I asked to eat inside, they immediately moved us (also because it was cool and really noisy). Dinner took a while to arrive, sliced and grilled on two cold plates, but I think there was some confusion in the kitchen due to the party going on. Breakfast was good. They accept dogs. Price a little higher than average.

04/07/2025: Bel locale ,che ha il suo micro birrificio all’Interno del locale stesso ,dove puoi bere delle buone birre artigianali e mangiare bene.Staff cortese e prezzi nella norma.
28/06/2025: Locale grazioso, situato in una via laterale che conferisce un po’ di intimità e…ombra.
Gli interni e il menu sono di tendenza.
Purtroppo la cura del particolare stona. Piatti ben fatti ma poco curati, con elementi “indesiderati” non rimossi prima del servizio.
Un peccato perché basterebbe un po’ di amore e cura nel servizio per rendere questo posto una piacevole pausa per famiglie e giovani avventori, italiani e non.
La cucina è buona ed il prezzo per me non è economico ma giustificato.

06/08/2025: We went to this place by chance.
We ordered ravioli, tagliolini with mushrooms, and for the child, cutlet and fries. The ravioli were 6. 14 euros for six ravioli. They were supposed to have crispy bacon, but instead the bacon was soggy and terribly greasy and salty. The dog ate it. For the second course, we asked for fish. We finished it. Basically, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 dessert, water, and 1 glass of wine, 70 euros. Never again.
24/07/2025: The food and ambiance were excellent, but the service was even worse. The waitresses were rather unfriendly and barely spoke.
All in all, it was okay.

07/04/2025: We went to this bar on Saturday evening for a nice drink and to relax a bit. The atmosphere was truly welcoming, and we were fortunate enough to meet Simone: a friendly and enthusiastic person. He was extremely helpful, sharing valuable tips on what to see in the city with us. It was a truly pleasant experience that made our evening even more special.

31/08/2025: You have a bar across from a wonderful cathedral.
You charge two euros for a coffee, which is fair, given the location.
But the general feeling of dirtiness and the bathrooms are shameful.
28/08/2025: A very bad experience, and then for a macchiato I ordered at the counter, so it was a quick one... at least they'd pretended to be polite. I asked for a macchiato while I was tying my sandals, so I didn't realize the coffee hadn't been "correctly" frothed. I politely asked if he could please add some milk foam. I didn't get an answer, so I waited. He didn't respond, and after a while I asked, "Yes or no, can that be done?" I got an embarrassing response, "Wait, I'm busy now, wait." I replied, "Yes, of course, but at least you could give me an answer." He responded, "You've been waiting for half an hour to get it, and now you're asking me for the foam."
Total degradation... I told him no, to leave it alone. Anyway, it had been 5 minutes since the coffee was made, and it's my problem. How long it takes me to do it, there doesn't have to be a specific reason for being polite and adding some foam. Okay, learn some manners, because I understand when a rude customer comes in, and even then... it's not that you can treat someone badly. It's a job I've done for a long time, so I could understand, but when you find someone smiling and kind, you have to treat them well. I feel sorry for you because you're in front of the cathedral. I can't imagine how many people you treat needlessly badly. Bye!

03/06/2025: Locale tranquillo di lato alla piazzetta di Canonica, non mi ricordo di aver visto insegne, comunque facendo un giretto lo si trova. Otimo il cibo proposto, con adeguata scelta sia di primi che di secondi. Discreto il vino rosso della casa. Prezzo adeguato. Lo si può consigliare.
02/05/2025: Encontramos esta pequeña trattoria por accidente, pero qué hallazgo. Nos gustó tanto que volvimos la semana siguiente en nuestro reciente viaje a Umbría. El entrante de verduras fritas en masa de tempura fueron excelentes, así como el plato de carne y queso de la delicia típica de la zona. Los tortellones rellenos de ricota en salsa de pistacho estaban perfectamente cocinados con pasta casera. Los propietarios que cocinan y sirven son cálidos y acogedores. No te pierdas esta trattoria si viajas por la zona de Orvieto.

02/01/2025: Unica nota positiva il personale piacevole e carino. Per ilresto non so come abbia un punteggio così alto . Inspiegabile. Antipasti insipidi considerata la cucina umbra sapido. Sono entrato per mangiare il famoso piccione all'orvietana e mi sono ritrovato un piccione bollito e immerso jn una salsa rossa che tutto aveva tranne che essere una riduzione di vino. Peccato davvero
28/12/2024: I bambini avevano fame, così siamo entrati, per così dire, nel primo ristorante che ci è capitato. Anche se avevo notato velocemente che le recensioni segnavano 4,5 stelle, non riesco davvero a capire come si possa attribuire una valutazione così alta a un locale del genere. Lo stile è fermo agli anni Ottanta, il servizio è scadente e le porzioni sono ridicole. Abbiamo speso 120 euro per mangiare praticamente il nulla: un antipasto pessimo e indecente. In conclusione, evitatelo assolutamente. È un posto in cui non tornerei nemmeno gratis.
