13/10/2024: I had a coffee with my wife. The bad girl who served us was very kind, the place was nice and the coffee was good. To return.

21/09/2024: Very nice little bar with delicious little Pranzo bites. Exactly as it should be. There are also good IPA beers in the fridge. It's also nice to sit in the medieval alley.

14/03/2025: A Visit to a splendid location. We were welcomed by Federico who accompanied us to the restaurant where we tasted the production of their Extra Virgin Olive Oil. We chose the monocultivar Cerguepapa. Truly extraordinary oil of the highest quality. Of course we took home 12 bottles. A fantastic condiment. Excellent discovery. Highly recommended!!!!

14/03/2025: Unique experience: immersed in the greenery, the estate retains all the elegance of its long history, although recently restored with great attention to detail. Don't miss the oil! Excellent quality, variety in the choice of cultivars .. for connoisseurs.

05/05/2025: With my family we spent four days in this WONDERFUL farmhouse nestled in the hills of Umbria. We had such a good time that we plan to return. Very kind owners. The cuisine is excellent at both breakfast and dinner, the latter absolutely worth trying. Although the location may seem out of the way, it is very convenient for visiting the region. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

04/05/2025: The Wolf Court is an enchanting place to unwind from the daily frenzy. The panoramic view is of expanses of green hills as far as the eye can see. The owners are kind and welcoming, their cuisine is a delicacy. A combination of genuine products (coming from their farm) expertly highlighted with elegance. We will definitely return.

27/07/2025: This morning a wonderful breakfast at Nido dei Golosi... Croissant with Nutella, Mimosa cake and a latte macchiato!!! Everything exceptional... Very kind staff!!! I highly recommend trying it

13/07/2025: My first experience at a home restaurant, and it couldn't have gone better! Nicoletta welcomed us into her beautiful, carefully furnished and very welcoming home, and delighted us with excellent food, all prepared by her with so much love. A tasting of exquisite vegan cheeses, delicious homemade bread, spectacular first and second courses, and not to mention the delicious dessert!!! Besides the excellent food, being able to eat in a traditional home in the village is a truly worthwhile experience. Thank you, Nicoletta, we'll be back soon!

13/07/2025: Nicoletta, the chef who welcomes those who wish to try her refined, homemade dishes into her home, offers a home restaurant experience in a wonderful location furnished with care and warmth. The vegetarian/vegan food is delicious, simple, and carefully crafted, embracing seasonality and the creativity of the moment, which guide her menus; from appetizers to dessert, it's a constant surprise. I appreciated everything, not only the dishes, all rigorously made by her own hands, including the excellent bread, but also the opportunity to experience the exclusivity of a lunch with my best friend, our only guests, served by a chef just for us who has thought of every detail to welcome us with so much love. Thank you, Nicoletta, we'll be back, and I hope everyone can enjoy a lunch/dinner with her and a service that can't be found or bought in any restaurant... it's worth it!

27/03/2025: It was recommended to us by the manager of the "Torre della Botonta" residence to shop for typical cured meats in the area and to have us prepare the fantastic porchetta sandwich to eat for lunch on the return journey 😀 I would say an excellent experience! The special products speak for themselves ... and Serafino's wife who served us was very kind and friendly. We will remember Serafino's porchetta every time we eat the fresh salami and sausages that we brought home 😉

07/09/2025: We went there by chance one day after a competition at the nearby riding stables, and we've been back every time since. The sandwiches are excellent, as are the beers. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair.

06/09/2025: A historic spot, always pleasant, with excellent beers and impeccable service. Thursday nights with Dr. Why are very entertaining. The outdoor seating area makes for a cool and fun place in the summer. I recommend the burger and red beer.

20/08/2025: It took us some time to write this review, because we wanted to make sure to properly put into words just how incredible our wedding at San Pietro Sopra le Acque was. From our initial meeting with Sara, we felt there was something special about this venue and our instincts were absolutely right. As a couple from the United States, we planned our wedding entirely remote, which at the start was a nerve wracking concept. However, Sara made the entire process so easy and seamless from start to finish. She was so communicative and thorough with all aspects of our three-day event, from connecting us with the best local vendors to making recommendations for our dinner selections when we were unable to visit in person for our tasting. From the moment we stepped foot on the property it was every bit as beautiful as we had dreamed. The venue not only blew us away with its beauty and location, overlooking incredible views of Umbria, but also with the amazing staff that made us and our guests feel right at home. Sara and the rest of the staff truly cared to make every day of our event so special and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. If you are a couple planning a destination wedding, we recommend San Pietro Sopra le Acque a million times over. Our wedding is something we will forever cherish and never forget. 05/08/2025: The perfect location for the wedding you‘ve always dreamed about at a cost you can afford. The San Pietro team became our family. Their care and professionalism was uncomparable. The only thing they didn‘t do was walk our daughter-in-law down the isle 🤣 Excellent project management, flawless exection, amazing food, historical setting, ancient cyprus trees, and even messages written in the rocks. Look no further; no location can top San Pietro‘s value/value for money.

23/07/2025: A pleasant evening with good food and impeccable service. Nothing exceptional, mind you, but everything was done well! Absolutely 5-star service: the politeness, friendliness, and hospitality were top notch! We'll be back because we had a great time and ate well! I ate fish and wasn't expecting such high-quality ingredients and cooking (and I was born by the sea)!

15/07/2025: We ate in six by booking on thefork, I didn't have high expectations and I have to say that it was better than expected. However, I have to point out a very unpleasant point of the service: we ate in two and a half hours and each for himself. The waitress warns us that the first courses will take a long time and advises us to take an appetizer, so we order a cutting board and supplì as well as four first courses (including the risotto that should have taken longer than the pasta) and two hamburgers. The supplì arrive first; after an indefinite time the risotto arrives, which we have time to finish before the hamburgers arrive; at this point we ask for the cutting board, since two more first courses would arrive later (at this point we had already waited an hour) and it arrives after a few minutes. After another quarter of an hour we also manage to eat the last three first courses. About the food: reasonable prices and right portions, the cutting board and the hamburgers are good, shame about the pasta that was immersed in what seemed like broth; I appreciated the desserts. A small sore point is that when asking for a change to the dish the price increase was not reported (which I expected but still unpleasant that we were not told). In favor of the service the waitresses were very kind and understanding, also adding a small discount for the long wait.
