01/10/2025: We stayed here as part of a wedding party, choosing the “glamping” option for accommodation. The venue is truly amazing, the grounds are beautiful, and the amenities are great. The pool was fantastic, as was the small Finnish sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room attached to the wellness centre. Our only hiccup came with the bell tent we stayed in, which was poorly set up with frayed ropes that ended up breaking, and with staff not attending to fix the tent despite being asked, due to no doubt other busy tasks — unfortunately it meant we had puddles of water inside our tent when arriving back late from the celebrations, with the tent walls also drooping over the mattress in an unpleasant way. Guests shouldn’t be left to try to create improvised fixes in the middle of the night…

30/09/2025: One of the most amazing places I've ever been. The views, the serenity, the staff, everything is first class at Castello Di Petratra. The pool was clean and refreshing, the food was delicious (I recommend the spaghetti with olive oil and garlic) the drinks were perfect, and the rooms were a delight. We stayed in the Lavande suite out back and it was everything we needed and then some. On top of all that.. the wedding we attended here was a 10/10. If you're in the area I highly recommend getting to this place!

30/07/2025: We ate outside in a really cute little square. The staff was very kind and attentive... the cured meats and cheeses were excellent, but the gricia was unfortunately inedible.

05/10/2025: The best place to eat fish and very good value for money. The fish is excellent quality and perfectly cooked. The service is very friendly and helpful. I recommend it to everyone.

03/10/2025: We had dinner with the Fork and were surprised not only by the quality of the food but also by the hospitality and the particular kindness. We were greeted with a free and appreciated gastronomic surprise and left with delicious limoncello, always free. Truly excellent!! We'll be back soon.

Dalla location strepitosa, bellissima, curata e pulita...al personale gentilissimo e affabile alle pietanze che spaccano dalla bontà e genuinità....le lumache cucinate in diversi modi sono strepitose, le porzioni abbondanti il vino della casa è buonissimo e il rapporto qualità/prezzo è perfetto....sempre un piacere tornare....ogni volta andar via è lasciare un pezzo di cuore....grazie davvero e a presto

05/12/2024: Serata con amici tutti hanno mangiato lumache e sono rimasti contentissimi ottima cena . Io non mangio Lumache ho mangiato Soufflé di patate con fonduta di pecorino e tartufo eccezionale. Poi ravioli cacio e pepe . Ottimo Anche i dolci buoni . Consigliatissimo per lumacari e ottimo anche per chi non le mangia.

26/09/2025: We spontaneously stopped by for dinner last night. We opted for carbonara and pizza, and both were delicious. The service was very friendly and even made us cocktails that weren't on the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant! P.S.: The carbonara here is thankfully made the way it's traditional in Italy. No cream, no peas, no obscure meat fillings like in Germany. We also noticed that the restaurant isn't directly on the lake, even before we entered. Why other reviews have given it a downgrade for this reason is neither understandable nor comprehensible.

09/09/2025: Takeaway pizza... vegetarian, truly excellent quality.

20/09/2025: Upon our arrival in the village, we stopped here for an aperitif lunch. The cold cuts and fresh porcini mushrooms were truly delicious. A good selection of wines and knowledgeable staff were also available.

30/09/2025: We went there one evening for dinner. We ate outside (it's a bit noisy inside). The atmosphere was casual, but the food was truly excellent and reasonably priced. We'd love to go back and recommend it!

29/09/2025: The place is small, with not a lot of seating inside. The atmosphere is intimate. The food was a huge and pleasant surprise, and the service was excellent. The owner was very friendly, as if we'd been friends forever. We'll definitely be seeing each other again.

18/09/2025: Every time I return to Terni, leaving cold Germany behind for a while, there's a place that calls to me like home: Pizzeria La Genga. I left a piece of myself here, in Collescipoli. As a teenager, I worked among its tables, but it was the perfect refuge after the disco, when we'd gather to drink a glass of wine and devour a Sottobosco sandwich or those gnocchetti I still dream of. La Genga isn't just a pizzeria, it's a hug. It's Mauro and Cristina, the beating heart of this place, with their disarming kindness and a warm humanity. I once asked him, "Mauro, why don't you raise the prices?" And he replied, "And where do poor people go to eat out?" So, this is La Genga: a place that makes you feel not just a customer, but part of a family. No matter how far life takes me, I know that at La Genga I'll always find a table ready to welcome me, a dish that tastes like home, a delicate pizza with a light, easily digestible dough. If you're looking for a place with soul, this is your refuge.

05/09/2025: In the quaint village of Collescipoli, in a family-friendly atmosphere with friendly staff, you can enjoy not only the typical Collescipolana gnocchetti, but also a truly delicious, light, generously topped pizza, already cut into wedges. The prices are truly reasonable.

27/09/2025: This was my first stop in the camino di Francisco. Very nice accommodations and the owners very helpful. Quiet night and beautiful view from the window

24/09/2025: Good 3 star hotel in the centre of town. It is old but very well maintained only does B&B now. Nice view from the terrace we you can relax. Our room was ok a decent size as it was at the front ove over the street it was are if the windows were open ( they do have a/c but it was off when we were there in September) .

18/10/2025: Phenomenal 6 course vegetarian tasting menu and experience!! We had such a delicious meal and learned so much. 6 courses plus crackers, bread, 2 appetizers. Awesome service and answered questions. Interesting and spot on combination of flavors, creative approach. Loved it!

12/10/2025: Elegant venue, very kind and attentive staff (from cutlery to bringing the first course already divided for 2 people), very varied menu with special combinations and high quality products.

14/10/2025: We did not have a pleasant experience ! Staff were grumpy no smiles stomped around with long faces !!! Service wasn’t good either😤 we decided to give them another chance and went back… had exactly the same reaction poor service unpleasant staff and food was not good!! Won’t be back!!
