Refuge at the arrival point of the second section of the Daolasa cable car with a splendid view. Small lake to stroll around. Good selection of excellent, hearty dishes served with exceptional kindness. Compliments to the chefs. Starting point for several trails.

A refuge located at the arrival point of the cable car of the same name. During peak season or when there are large crowds, it's a self-service restaurant, in our case (Thursdays, the second half of August), with table service. The professional and friendly staff welcomes us with smiles and enthusiasm. The menu offers a good selection of first courses, second courses, and desserts. Most importantly (and not surprisingly), they list the allergens that may be present in the various dishes. The prices are in line with the high quality and the preparation, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. In the best Alpine tradition, we were offered an excellent grappa with the bill. The splendid backdrop of the peaks is a plus that makes a stop here a must.

This is a lodge with good food! In terms of service, I think there should be a few more waiters! Honestly, I think it is because we waited about 5-10 minutes for a table. There are just two waitresses….; but nothing — that doesn't mean the food was pretty good!

Good food, but the view is out of this world! Prices are perhaps a little high, but it's worth eating with a view like this!
