We had dinner at this place, which gave us an authentic Tuscan experience. The name alone had high expectations, and they were absolutely met. Reservations are required; there's no fixed menu, but they offer daily specials. The portions are generous, and you can order more (including house wine). They offered a full dinner, from appetizer to dessert, and to finish, as they say, "arriva l'hoste" (the host arrives), a selection of liqueurs, all homemade, of course. The chef was very friendly, as was the waiter, and they made us feel right at home. Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

The place is enchanting, it's just as it once was. Kudos to them for not modernizing it. It's easy to get there by car, but the road is narrow at the end, but it's easy. We did the hike and a workshop (I can say it was great here, and that one person could do everything because the kids get confused if they have to listen to one person and then another—that's just my professional opinion). Even so, the kids managed it 😇 The food was delicious and the service excellent. Good luck with everything, you deserve it 🍀

The food is excellent, home cooking and the staff are exquisite, we will return.

We always return to Pastora's as soon as we can, always bringing new friends to discover this magical place... it's a guarantee of real time, in a real place, with real food... in addition to what's served at the table, we always do a little grocery shopping (cheese, ricotta, eggs, bread...). Long live Pastora and long live the whole team, animals included, of course!

It was one of the best dinners I ever had - the best dinner experiences to be exact!! Somewhere in the mt in Tuscany driving along this narrow road, we found this restaurant- actually more like somebody's home! The dinner started when it was bright and ended in dark, we fully enjoyed taking it slow. There was no menu, no need to order nor ask - they continue to bring out something delicious. First, a jar of local wine and two glasses of different shapes (I love it when it's not a set). Two antipasti (along with the freshest ricotta cheese made that morning from the goat we got to pat after dinner), primi, secondi, dessert, espresso. Sergio is very much likeable and great person. He and Daniela showed us around outside and we got to see farm animals, even at evening hour. This was not just a meal, it was a full experience! I would love to visit again with my family one day.

Fantastic atmosphere. Gabriella is very welcoming, kind, and friendly with her guests... the children are the stars, along with thousands of animals treated like royalty... a fantastic Sunday immersed in nature on a beautiful farm, and a truly delicious and plentiful lunch.

An absolutely incredible day on the farm, with wonderful animals and people. We milked a cow and even made some cheese. The lunch was excellent, wholesome, and tasty! These are the things we need to support these days. Highly recommended!

Gabriella Michelozzi and her sister Stefania are emblematic figures of modern shepherds, who run the farm and agritourism "IL CANTO DI PRIMAVERA DEL SOGNO ANTICO" (THE SPRING SONG OF THE ANCIENT DREAM), located in Quarrata, near Pistoia. The farm is renowned for its cheeses, cured meats, and its social and educational agriculture activities. Gabriella (the Shepherdess) is also associated with stories of other young women who have chosen shepherding, such as Diamante Santini of "Ninfe di Bosco," who transformed an ancient tradition into a modern goat farming business in the Pistoia area. You fall in love with the Shepherdess immediately, at first sight. Gabriella (the Shepherdess) and her sister Stefania left FORM to seek LIFE. For the thought, the place, and what the Michelozzi sisters do, I give them 5 stars because there are no others.
