09/10/2025: First night in Lucca and didn’t have a reservation anywhere. Tried to get into a highly recommended restaurant but it was full. Found Piccolo Mondo and they could take us (only 2 people). Food was excellent - soup, shrimp risotto, broccoli flan and spaghetti bolognese. All great! But service was horrible - the staff made us feel like they were doing us a favour by even recognizing us. But there are SO many great restaurants to enjoy that one doesn’t have to put up with such poor service.

07/03/2026: The best ever experience, tastiest pizza with an extraordinary tomato sauce in the world and the most original chef. We stayed in Viareggio in August 2025 and still remember the unforgettable flavour!

25/11/2025: I've been to Bioroom and I have to say it's become one of my favorite places! The smoothies, juices, and salads are truly delicious, made with fresh, quality ingredients. In my opinion, the prices are more than fair for what they offer. The staff is incredibly kind, professional, always smiling, and super helpful: an added value that really makes the difference. I highly recommend it for a light lunch or dinner, or just a healthy snack. A must-try! 💚

04/11/2025: I had the Acai Bowl for the first time. Truly delicious. They have so many good, authentic things to eat, a wide selection. The staff is very friendly, and the shop is beautiful and welcoming. I recommend it!

19/10/2025: Usually a very crowded place in the evening. Very good cocktails and very polite staff, although I can see they have some difficulties at times. Otherwise, a good place to visit with a group of friends. 👍

27/09/2025: A very ordinary spritz (passed off as a cocktail on the dresser) and a small tonic (really small) accompanied by two chips, but two and nothing else. €13 today... Very expensive in my opinion...

19/08/2025: The pizza is certainly not the best in the region. The price is commensurate: very cheap. We had a really hard time ordering because the lady was very annoyed, wanting to do everything quickly; we felt unwelcome in this pizzeria from the very first moment. It was obvious that she didn't want to serve us. Perhaps it was because we were there with two small children. The lady (owner) obviously didn't speak English, but spoke a little quickly in Italian. All attempts to explain things to her via online translator failed. But I wouldn't recommend this pizzeria. The pizzas weren't moist, so it's not worth it. The atmosphere is okay.

04/08/2025: Metti una splendida serata d’estate …un luogo incantato e cibo buonissimo ,sul fiume 📍𝐎𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚 ,via di Candalla 264 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐞 ..un ristorante tradizionale ma con una marcia in più ,ad attenderci al nostro arrivo un bar sul fiume con cocktail interessanti con un’aria equatoriale ,caraibica molto rilassante Dopodiché uno splendido tavolo al fresco bordo ruscello , per proseguire con la nostra cena di gusto Anche all’interno il locale è molto carino sobrio e raffinato .Menu di terra con prodotti di qualità . Per prenotare basta chiamare la mattina alle 9 del mese precedente in cui si desidera andare ,io non ho trovato nessuna difficoltà. Il servizio é attento e cortese

04/08/2025: Ho prenotato in questa Osteria per il 5 Agosto, venendo da lontano, (più di una ora di autostrada) e dovendo percorrere l'autostrada della Cisa, causa lavori e maltempo, ho dovuto allungare l'orario di arrivo alle 13:30. Giunta però con 35 minuti di anticipo, mi accorgo che impossibile parcheggiare, i pochi posti disponibili, su per una strada in salita stretta e circondata da cartelli di rimozione, sono tutti occupati e le persone continuano ad arrivare. Ho tentato di cercare parcheggio, ma non c'è stata possibilità, nemmeno allontanandomi di parecchia strada, in quanto trattasi di strada di montagna stretta che rasenta la pericolosità. Alla fine a malincuore sono costretta ad andarmene con l'amaro in bocca e una buona dose di nervosismo per una gestione così poco attenta ai clienti e menefreghista. Ho sprecato così carburante, tempo, un viaggio lungo ed energia. Mi chiedo... un luogo che fa così tanti coperti, può permettersi di avere una disponibilità di parcheggio così indirettamente proporzionale e non fare nulla a riguardo? E' giusto che un cliente non venga avvisato di questo disagio appurato e debba addirittura doversene andare? Non sarebbe corretto dirlo oppure offrire un servizio navetta, oppure ampliare l'area di parcheggio chiedendo permessi al comune oppure, semplicemente fare meno coperti? Invece no, schiavi del guadagno, senza rispetto. Il cibo sarà sicuramente buono come descritto, ma il servizio e la cortesia sono parti a zero.

03/03/2026: Six of us, a group of friends, wanted a quick lunch and stumbled upon this small restaurant, sitting outside on a spring-like day. Excellent dishes, including some local specialties. The tortelli lucchesi were very good. The wine selection exceeded expectations, with an excellent Bolgheri at a more than reasonable price. The service was very friendly and efficient. The bill was absolutely reasonable. A pleasant surprise and a much-appreciated lunch.

28/02/2026: My go-to restaurant when I'm in Viareggio for work... friendly owner (even though he's an Inter Milan fan 😅) and nice, friendly waitresses. All in all, a good restaurant.

01/11/2025: A very unique place, truly Zanzibar-style. Excellent food; we ordered the fried and grilled fish, both exceptional. The owners, under new management since March 2025, are extremely kind, even to our dogs. We'll definitely be back! 🤩 Open all year round, except for the next three weeks due to renovations. One of the few in Versilia.

05/10/2025: A unique venue in Versilia for: location (seafront, spacious, various rooms, beach club, and restaurant + aperitif/aperitif dinner, and late-night dining with illuminated areas where they serve your table. Ambience: Target audience: All ages, but always a suitable clientele. Service: The restaurant manager and the other staff make you want to return. Impeccable, attentive service, with passion and dedication. Product: Top-notch, quality. Exotic-themed cocktails like caipiroska, mojito, daqiri, and caipirinha reign supreme. In addition to their specialty drinks, the fruit and aperitif dinner are delicious, with platters and focaccia, as well as a few small, valid options like hummus or burrata. Overall, the best venue in Versilia. That's how I'll sum it up! Special mention for the guy who takes the orders, always available, knowledgeable, and professional. It's always busy, so there's a long wait. P.S. If I go to an exotic venue and ask for off-menu cocktails, A very helpful guy is looking for a solution, whether it's a reproduction of the cocktail itself or a hypothetical variation. It's like going to a shoe store and asking for a painting.

01/11/2025: I arrived at this restaurant with my small, well-behaved dog, properly leashed. We were informed that dogs were not accepted and asked to leave. The main problem wasn't the rules themselves, which may be legitimate, but rather the extremely hasty and impolite manner in which we were treated. Furthermore, we weren't even given the option of sitting at the outside tables, a solution that many other restaurants in the area readily offer. I believe that, even while respecting their own policies, a restaurant should maintain good manners, courtesy, and a welcoming attitude toward those who enter. A disappointing experience. We won't be returning. (Not accepting dogs in 2025 is excessive, but everyone has their own policies, and I respect them.)

27/09/2025: Rural trattoria, quality food. Ample private parking, pleasant outdoor setting. The daily menu is always excellent, featuring traditional dishes, and reasonable prices. Please note: this is a trattoria for easygoing diners who appreciate tradition without too many frills. Please note: dogs are not tolerated.
