22/10/2025: …on the occasion of my trip to Tuscany!!…with a group of people!!…from an agency in my city!!…I stopped for lunch here!!…at the “Il Portico” farmhouse!!…so I am in Capalbio!!…and I am precisely three kilometers away!!…and this structure is located!!…in a quiet location!!…immersed in the wonderful nature of the Tuscan Maremma!!…I was served a good appetizer!!…a good first course!!…followed by the second course and then a fantastic tiramisu!!…all typical products!!…with the true flavor of Tuscany!!…dishes brought to the table by the owner!!…he did everything!!…zero waiting time!!…what can I say!!…I ate really well!!…here at the “Il Portico” farmhouse!!…the authentic dishes of Tuscan cuisine!!…yes!!!…I would gladly go back again!!…🍽️🎉👌💯🔝⬆️‼️

15/04/2026: A beautiful hotel but overpriced and lacking in some areas. The facilities e.g. spa (kindly gifted for our honeymoon), padel and tennis, pool etc are all fabulous additions. The small rooms are fine but very basic furnishings - it doesn't feel cosy or luxurious. The atmosphere feels like it is trying to be an upscale country resort like Soho Farmhouse but doesnt hit the mark. The breakfasts were great but the Larossa main restaurant is very overpriced and the food only average. More style over substance overall! But the staff were kind and friendly. However we stayed at much better hotels during our 3 weeks in Italy.

05/08/2025: Beautiful place surrounded by nature. We had lunch and they gave us all excellent local and home-grown products! Wild boar ham, salami, cheese, tomatoes! Everything was excellent and the waiter Alessandro was very kind and very nice!! Highly recommended!!!!

24/07/2025: Rispetto agli anni passati i prezzi sono purtroppo aumentati, coperto 3 euro a persona e abbiamo dovuto chiedere il pane..3 euro per una bottiglia d'acqua da un litro ci è apparso eccessivo.. poca scelta tra antipasti primi e secondi, prezzi alti e pietanze nella media.. buona la frittura di calamari (porzione risicata per 15 euro) .. lo spazio esterno è carino ma i prezzi a nostro avviso sono troppo elevati

08/04/2026: An old-fashioned trattoria, good food, generous portions. That said, beware of the confusing menu. The price is a bit above average (€43 for an appetizer, first course, dessert, coffee, water, and house wine), but the portions and the home-style cooking make up for it.
06/04/2026: The food was unremarkable, probably the worst lasagna I've ever eaten. Very little ragu, just pasta. Friendly service. We ate, but by Italian standards, very poor food

A hotel with a very low-quality restaurant at a price that's definitely out of line.
The rooms are poorly maintained, not very clean, and the toilet seat, for example, was of poor quality and the wrong size, and was only fixed in one spot.
The dinner, of which only the pappardelle with wild boar was good, the rest (mixed grill and salad) were decidedly below average (and there wasn't even any mustard available...), cost almost €100 for two people.
The dinner consisted of two plates of pappardelle, two mixed grills, and two salads.
Drinks: one water, half a liter of fairly poor-quality white wine, one 33cl beer and one 66cl beer (Moretti or Peroni), plus two coffees, one Sambuca, and one Montenegro.
Please note that this is not high season.
P.S.: The second star is only due to the pappardelle and the efforts of the kind waitress.
03/11/2025: €20 for a lousy cacio e pepe, a salad, and a coffee. Forget it.
