17/08/2023: I was so excited to stumble across this place! I got olive bowls, an olive pasta rolling pin and a sandwich. The owner speaks no English but his smile and warm welcome make you want to buy 1 of everything! He has olive wood products, copper, pottery, cow bells, wine, fruits and veggies and much, much more! He cracked open a bottle of wine when we were there and we did “salute!” I salute you sir for a great little shop in Florence! A hidden gem in my opinion!

01/07/2025: Vi kom sent til restauranten efter en lang køretur fra Danmark. Vi havde ikke booket bord og alt var optaget. De unge mennesker var så service mindede og fandt straks et ekstra bord som de dækkede op til os og vi fik den mest fantastiske mad.

26/04/2025: Sembra un bar ed infatti è anche un bar ma la cosa interessante è che in questo locale, proprio dove non te lo aspetti, puoi trovare una pizza eccezionale. Ottimo l’impasto, accompagnato da condimenti di grande qualità. Vi suggerisco di chiedere il condimento con pomodoro Sanmarzano, fa veramente la differenza. Se non volete prendere una pizza potete comunque scegliere tra i vari piatti della tradizione toscana. Tutti ottimi e da accompagnare con i vini della cantina Frescobaldi, che insiste proprio sul territorio del Comune di Pelago. Il servizio è di una gentilezza incantevole. Insomma, merita una sosta. Una piccola nota negativa sulla location che potrebbe essere un po’ più accogliente. Nella zona interna basterebbe anche solo giocare con una illuminazione meno aggressiva, mentre nella veranda esterna potrebbe risultare fastidiosa la TV accesa.

11/02/2026: A place where you can't go wrong...all the food is very good. The staff is very kind and friendly.

06/12/2025: There isn't a single dish, not even one, that's slightly below par compared to the others: all dishes are exceptionally well-executed, sometimes even superior to dishes served in medium-high-end restaurants. Whether it's fresh pasta to cook, pre-cooked dishes like lasagna (exceptional, better than many lasagnas in Bologna), roasts, or even side dishes. Even the chestnut cake, from Marradi, is the best in the area. Congratulations, ladies.

25/09/2025: “Parking attendant” was okay with us standing in the doorway while it was raining. When a 2nd couple was standing with us, all of a sudden it’s an issue. This guy (white mid early 60s) is racist and I would NEVER attend ANY business associated with this gentleman. Stood within a foot of my face and said “you don’t want to play with me” and complained to the wine business about us standing in the opening. RACISM has no place anywhere!! Be warned and don’t spend your money with any business associated with the attendant (he was on the job Sept 25, 2025 around 2:10 pm)

27/04/2025: Gran servicio, comida fantástica, muy buena experiencia. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera. El plato principal de estaca fue probablemente el mejor que he tenido.

28/07/2025: Cinghiale in umido cucinato secondo la tradizione Toscana di una volta. Saporito e così morbido da non necessitare il coltello. Una porzione abbondante a soli 13 euro. Ottimi anche gli antipasti. Personale giovane, gentile e molto disponibile , pur mantenendo un alto livello di professionalità. Prezzo onesto

17/06/2025: Paramos en nuestro camino de regreso de Florencia a San Donato y fue una de las mejores comidas que hemos tenido este viaje. Muy recomendable!

28/04/2024: Abbiamo pernottato qui perché abbiamo fatto il cammino degli DEI. Locale molto pulito, caldo. Il cibo è ottimo e il personale molto disponibile.
